Education / Re: How To Achieve High Scores On The GRE by adelawry(m): 5:55pm On Apr 04, 2016
Minimum requirement does not guarantee admission. Most schools always highlight that fact. It always depends on the scores of other applicant. It's like saying Jamb cutoff mark is 200, so if you have 200 your admission is sure. Hell No!

onyembu2013:

I talked with one Chinese guy that got admitted into their PHD program. He got 317 in gre, 170 Q. Even his two friends that got admitted into the MSC cheng LSU in 2014 and 2015, one of them got 322, 170 Q and the other 315 168 Q. Am thinking that their cut off is above what they tell us on the website. This rejection hurts because LSU is my number one school.and they run research with top oil company

My brother, your case is not too different from most test takers. If you ask me, most test takers had similar challenge...You just have to try and to keep improving...Dont get too discourage when you don't do well in your practice, spend quality time to do the correction and discover the tricks. This will help you alot...If you ask me, I think most people have the propensity to perform better in the comprehension section...try not to attempt it late into the test cos you are likely to be disorganized when you see a long passage and you have few minutes to read, comprehend and answer some sets of questions. It is best you start with the passage sections and you are likely to perform better there if you study the tricks in there. I'm speaking from experience. Some peeps might have better approach but then it works for me. Not like I get a super high score in my practice but it worked better for me.

Hello all. Please, what's the benefit of the GRE paper based test and over the computer version?

For paper based, if you do very well in the first section of Verbal and quantitative, you will not be having a more difficult second section. The difficulty level is almost same for all sections. Unlike the computer based, where you have to deal with a more difficult upon doing well in the previous. The difficulty level increases when you do very well in a previous session.

Unfairness at its peak...they can employ a mechanical or chemical engineer to do a petroleum engineers job in the field but can't employ a petroleum engineer to do a process job in a plant.
The Petroleum Engineering discipline is streamline...This period of poor oil price made it worse for them...

I like every bit of fateh an Anu's scene,i jst hate dulgeet like mad...
. I missed like a whole week of eternal love episode...I got uninterested after Ranveer and Doijeet were involved in a car crash...I stumbled into the series somehow this week ...all for me to see Ranveer with another name 'Fateh' and Sahiba 'as Anu' - though, I understood she was involved in an accident and lost her memory and then she found herself in an orphanage... I'm lost in the confusion of Fateh and Ranveer ...Did Ranveer Reincarnate ....I'm sure it is for this reason Indians cremate their dead..How he own come be?

Good morning again,

Please bear with us, the mails are being pushed out by the system and it is taking a little bit of time.

The access time for the assessment will be moved by 30 minutes once the last email is pushed out.

We request that you please be patient and not send emails to the enquiries box for now as it is clogging the mailbox which might cause further delays.

Thank you for your patience.

People kept saying they heard some candidates have been called for salary negotiation . Though they are saying they aren't sure. I just feel there is an iota of truth in all these rumour...Let some one who has be bold enough to let others know...so we will know our fate. Thank you
