Hi applied for study visa with 2 kids , my son and I got ppr today but my daughter hasn’t received passport request. Strangely on her portal I noticed todays date JULY 21st on final decision session which isn’t the Norm, usually that part has no date but with the date it still states application is in progress , we will send you a message once the final decision has been made .

Please as anyone experienced this or anyone no what I can do to sort this .

Please can anyone respond to this? I need to plan ahead . All gurus and anyone who can help , your response will be appreciated.

Planning to do a 1+1 course in Canada. if I complete a one year postgraduate diploma course in supply chain management , can i enroll for PSW as a second program within Canada. Does applications within Canada get scrutiny like when applying from outside Canada. I’m trying to leave many options opened to get Pr cos of my age , currently 38. Will applying for an extension to a do a PSW as a
Second course be a problem within Canada considering my background is in business . Although I have worked as a psw in the uk a long time ago like 10 years ago

Is there any school that will give her admission considering her background and choice of program?
What are her chances of getting student visa?

I experienced this mine even lasted one month before I got ppr … applied with my kids for visit visa they got bvl and ppr on the same day … I got just bvl and didn’t get ppr until a month after ….it will end in praise just believe. Wasn’t an easy wait though

Is this a normal thing because I see most people getting BVL and PPR same time

I heard you have to do a one year course before you can work as a psw . Can you please share how one can train for just 2 weeks ?

You can get trained within 2 weeks and get your certificate if you are able to pass.

Resubmit the admission letter, a notarized copy of the consent letter, his passport, and an explanation letter that the start date is September 2023. The VO may have missed the documents.

I applied from
Outside Canada with the kids. My children are 6 and 9 years so I applied for a study permit with them I don’t know if it’s the same as open study permit . I also attached my letter of acceptance from conestoga college, the date of this letter was November 2022.

As for letter of consent I attached one from my husband with his international passport but wasn’t notarized. What do I do now as I’m confused .

I applied with them so my study permit application isn’t approved yet. We all have Canada visit visa though we haven’t even used it .

A minor child of a principal applicant whose application for a study permit was submitted outside of Canada and approved is eligible for an open study permit (admission letter not required). So, what are the ages of the kids? Did you apply from inside Canada? Has your initial LoA expired? These could be some of the reasons for the LoA request.

Parental consent is required if both parents are not travelling with the kids, as child trafficking is a serious offence in Canada. So, submit the Int’l passport and a consent letter authorizing you to travel with the kids. The consent letter must be notarised and signed by the kids’ parent. The signature on the consent letter must look similar to the one on the passport, and don’t forget to travel with it, as the CBSA officer will request it along with their passports.

Applied for study permit for myself and the kids . We got medical request last Saturday but also got an email today on my children’s application with the following instructions.

LOA:An original letter of acceptance from the intended educational institution provide an updated LOA .

Parental authority to travel with identification document from the parent .


Anyone who understands tthis should

Please can I use an online ( mobile app) generated bank statement of account and also attach a bank reference letter.

The issue is that the hard copy stamped bank statement my bank gave me is not clear at all. Access Bank statement, very bad printers, I have tried 3 different branches. It’s not even clear and the size is over 30 mb, by the time I compress that document an inch lower, I believe nothing will be clear again.

Has anyone here used pdf file online generated bank statement ? Is the stamp actually important on bank statements? I believe with or without stamp , the visa officer will still do his verification.

Your bank can email a Soft copy of your bank statement. just ask for a reference letter and add this to Your application. Did this when I applied for visit visa and it was granted .

I applied for visit visa June last year and got visa approved in March 2023 . I already had plans to study in Canada this year so I applied to Conestoga college in October for September 2023 , got unconditional offer and even paid my first semester fees in December 2022 .

Is it okay to apply for study visa now that I just got my visit visa approved ? I haven’t even travelled with the visit visa . Will this be a problem ?

PPR for i and 2 children, it was a very long wait but God did it !

My children got their PPR on the 28th of February but I only received a correspondence letter after almost a month my PPR dropped on the 23rd of March. Wishing everyone still waiting the best and congratulations on advance

We’re planning to travel together for the first time as a family in August and I will be co-sponsoring the trip . My bank statement has more funds than my husband’s account . I hope this won’t affect his visa application.
If asked is anyone else paying for the trip what should he state and why . He will also be paying but we want to be careful the stated amount isn’t more than 4 times is salary .

Please I have a question to ask and I don't exactly know how to structure it for the search algorithm to identify my answers.

Here it goes.

I recently secured admission for Sept. 2022 and have paid the tuition deposit. At this time, i'm waiting for my TB test date in the first week of July and would proceed to start visa application. While waiting, I have locked in my POF for 30 days and it would mature by this month end. I hope to add the bank statement and other accompanying documents to start the visa processing.

Also, I joined the school's whatsapp group of Nigerian students who are been managed by the school's recognized agent in Nigeria. Sometime this week, one of the agents advised those of us with locked POF that plan to withdraw after maturity to desist from doing so. He rather said we should leave the money in the account till visa is confirmed. In his statement, he said that there's been a spike in requests from UKVI requesting for another account statements during the visa application stage. So if one has withdrawn, obviously it would reflect and lead to automatic dismissal.

My concern is how true is this or is there a particular reason that leads to this reaction by UKVI as I would most likely be spending more than a million naira just for account statement if I'm to keep the money in my account looking at how much visa application is been delayed this days.

Please, I'd need your opinions on this

I have always traveled to UK through Edinburgh airport cos my family members were based in Scotland and i schooled there too . I'm planning to use Heathrow airport for the first time, don't have any families in the UK anymore they moved to Canada.

I'm travelling to UK as a tourist with 2 kids and we will spend 4 weeks but in our visa application form i stated 7 days, will this affect us at Heathrow airport ? i never had issues at Edinburgh airport was never even asked how long i plan to stay .

I have heard a lot about London Heathrow and want to go prepared . I also made arrangements for a short term vacation rental for 4 weeks cos i will need to cook and be more comfortable as i have minors, so this means I'm not going to the address stated on visa application and i even had to change travel date as the cost on British airways was very expensive for the date i filled on visa application, i moved travel date to a less expensive date in July and our return date is in August.

1. will it be an issue that we changed the length of stay in London form 7 days to 4 weeks?
2. will change of address also be an issue ?
3. must we have prove of accommodation printed? the flat we will be staying belongs to my husband's child hood friend , we can provide address but no booking evidence cos we will pay him directly ? what will you suggest we do?

really? KLM now requires transit Visa? i didn't know they had changed . I have always used KLM from Ghana without transit visa till like 2018, in 2020 i used British Airways which i didn't like at all. when did KLM they start this transit visa wahala? i was going to book KLM, will need to call their office here to confirm this .

My issue too is flight ticket now, British airways and virgin is very expensive now, klm, air France and Lufthansa need transit visas and I am now left with qatar, Ethiopian, Egypt , Turkish, Rwanda and the likes that are kind of affordable

Made silly mistakes in my application, my bank even addressed the bank letter to German embassy , quoted 5 times my monthly income for the trip but with explanations and I also had good savings with clear prove of source of fund which . God proved himself and this is my evidence .

Advisable to stick to a particular amount. It shows stability.

In my case I explained my monthly income varies depending on expenses and sales for the month so from my business income I transfer 4K ghs and 5k ghs to my personal account and this could be seen in my personal account as transfer from the business to my personal account monthly . I showed all source of funds cos I makes lots of sales daily . I live in Ghana . So I had to state 60 k ghs as my annual income cos I had stated I transfer between for 4K and 5k Ghana cedis to my personal account monthly . But please as advised you May need to stick to one amount so you don’t confuse the visa officer , i have traveled to the uk many times so I don’t know what helped my case. So May be best to just stick to a particular figure you can defend with documents.

I got my 3rd visit refusal, May,2022( 1st-2007, 2nd- 2014)...nothing fraudulent.
My hubby got a UK masters admission in March,2022 and I intend to travel with him as a dependent.
Some weeks back, he decided that I should apply to the same school, I did and was given an unconditional offer too.
Now, I will be the main applicant with him sponsoring me. Note; he has never applied to any embassy before.The issue now is, my siblings in the UK( they were born there), suggested getting an immigration lawyer to file for settlement for me and my family from Nigeria , instead of me spending money on a student visa.
My question is , how possible is this with me been in Nigeria? Should I still apply for the student visa and while they get an immigration lawyer when I get to the UK?
Please, advise on the best steps to take.

why won’t you just let your husband apply for a student visa as you initially planned and just work well to put all documents together and pray about it . It will be granted by the grace of God . Sometimes we don’t have a choice but to spend lots of money to achieve our aim. This settlement matter is complicated ooooo that’s even if there’s anything like that . But see what the gurus have to say .
