Maybe you are not speaking from Nigeria, I don't need to be a genuine/beg my Church for help, the moment the churches does what is requires, everything take it shape, when the churches starts doing the right thing your prayer points will be reduced/no prayer points and the the society will become great

I am in Nigeria. The thing is you need to be sincere, if you are not they will definitely attend to others who are sincere and urgently need help. I do not know the church you attend though, I am only commenting based on what I have seen in my own church. Thank you

For me, I pay my tithe and offering genuinely because God is still God in my life, He has never failed me...same for others too. There are a lot of people asking for help at that particular time and it won't be good if people who needed help sincerely and urgently are not helped. Do not be surprised, some people are looking for opportunities to scam the church, they are even on this forum, they do not need help and they are looking to scam emotional people. The church helps a lot. RCCG I am sure of helps people a lot, i was at the camp two years ago when a lady(she even has a Muslim background) testified to how God used Pastor Adeboye to sponsor her trip to Europe to and fro for a competition after writing several letters to the government she came second in the competition and she dedicated the award to mummy Adeboye and she's not the only one, their are a lot of them. They gives scholarships, they even donates to government institutions and hospitals, their are people who are on the church pay roll too etc

When the church needs anything, the church comes to the members to contribute. But if the members come to the church for anything, the church tells the members “my God will do it for you”.

The Church is very happy to collect from the members but if the same members have needs/financial help the Church will tell them to go and pray,
The church will gladly collect donations but giving back to the society, they will tell you they are not a Charity Organization, they are not the government


Maybe when they start building structures that the poor will benefit from, when they start building schools for the poor instead of the rich only, when they start giving to the society (impacting) instead of building mushroom churches everywhere..... Then Nigeria will come out great

The church will definitely help you if you are genuine. Approach the church management and not individuals.

They are many here. They do not know what life is yet, commenting and insulting people who are older and have amount to great things in life is their logo. Tell them to bring solution to the table, you will then realise that they have nothing to offer.

There are a lot of ignorant people on this site, they know nothing about life. All they do is sit outside and judge. I know a man among them who has been ordained as an assistant pastor, he is a top staff in one of the multinationals, an intelligent man to the core and a lot of them like that.
