Former Zamfara Deputy Governor, Ibrahim Wakkala Shot In Abuja-Kaduna Train Attack

A former Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Ibrahim Wakkala, sustained gunshot injuries in Monday’s terrorist attack on an Abuja-Kaduna train.

An aide to the former Deputy Governor, who confirmed the report said Wakkala who was returning from the APC National Convention, was shot during the gun duel between the terrorists and the military, Channels Television reports.

He added that Wakkala has been moved to a military hospital in Kaduna for treatment.

Spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, Yusuf Idris, who also confirmed the development said Wakkala was initially abducted by the terrorists during the attack and was successfully rescued by the combined forces of DSS and Military.

“He was initially abducted but was rescued by the DSS and military, it was during the process he sustain gunshot injury in the leg. He is very okay now, he is receiving treatment at the hospital in Kaduna state.” Idris added.

WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that suspected terrorists detonated a bomb on the rail track of an Abuja-Kaduna train on Monday evening.

But why are people condemning this pastor and sparring the vice president?

Infact I still prefer an oba role than a political position.........but we still see Osinbajo as righteous man and praise him, a senior pastor in redeem having communion with people in darkness who has more of political ambition than pastoral goal

If we condemn this man then the vice president should not be praised because they all eat from same plate.

In my view (free to disagree, and feel free to express your own view), when your denomination has a doctrine which warrants you to see only your church as the true one, then it applies to you. For example JEHOVAH witness. It will be wrong if you hope to convert someone else to your faith. It will not work. So, a Jejovah Witness should marry his or her fellow Witness.

Also, if the church is a tiny population in christiany, and the person wants to build a home with someone who attend his or her church. The person should not look far, but in the church. If the person hopes to convert his or her spouse, there will be trouble.

But if you are a member of a Pentecostal denomination, you may marry from others. For example, A RCCG can marry from Winners Chapel, MFM, Deeper life, Believers World, and many others. Most white garments tend to marry themselves too. If a white garment should marry one who is not, most of the things they do will be like idolatry or rituals to the partner. Wahala don start be that.

So, in my view, the Bible should be base. Two people who want to get married should engage in Bible discussion. This will bring out the similarities and differences in their faith. So, they should evaluate it if they can cope with each other. Many people can actually cope but cos one of the partners is just too rigid, the other must listen and do it as it is done in his/her place. Wrong approach. Many ladies end up lonely without husbands like this. And you know that or custom says the woman follows the man to the church helps men.
