PoliticsRe: APC Apologises To Ndigbo, Appeals For Calm by adeoladrg(m): 7:46pm On Apr 08, 2015
APC should not apologize. Tinubu came out to say the Oba didn't speak for APC. Why are they speaking for him?

PoliticsRe: The Truth About Jimi Agbaje With Olisa Odibua by adeoladrg(op): 6:45pm On Apr 07, 2015
soe:
Truth be told....until JK started his campaign, Lagos didnt have Igbos, Yorubas or Hausas. All she had were Lagosians. The hussles and buzzles...the hard life...the struggle for survival...from the bus conductors..to the bus drivers...passengers...commuters...agbero...bla bla bla...they all spoke a common Lagos language...with the common Lagos sharpness...common Lagos alertness and a common Lagos vision...the vision for a better developed, peaceful and greater opportunities Lagos. This bond had built their drive for prosperity...from Tinubu to Fashola...working hand in hand with a very ethnic rich cabinet...made of pat utomu, joe igbokwe, ben akabueze, and a host of others, lagosians had always been lagosians. But like I said...that was until JK started his campaign.
Just like PDP is known..taking devilish advantage of our differences... Religious differences on a national level, ethnic differences on a local level..and even academic differences on certain occasions...this has been the hallmark of pdp.
Lagosians should look beyond these difference as always...vote for the party that has always offered the best. Feel free to vote Ambode or JK ... But keep tribal diff out of the way...because at the end of the day...everyone shares the same struggle

I think the PDP strategists are not wise for employing a divisive campaign method. All these shouldn't make us oblivious of who the better candidate is.

I know Igbos who will still vote for Ambode. I know Hausas who will vote Agbaje.
PoliticsThe Truth About Jimi Agbaje With Olisa Odibua by adeoladrg(op):
We've turned our spotlight on Politics in
this episode of the Truth with Olisa Adibua.
As d-day of gubernatorial elections 2015
draws closer and the resolve of the leading
contestants for the leadership of Lagos
stiffens, we caught up with the amiable PDP
gubernatorial candidate, Jimi Agbaje - and
boy did we have a lot to talk about. We
touch on issues relating with his current
campaign to life before politics to taking on
a formidable APC side to policies,
Akinwunmi Ambode and Bode George, just
to mention a few.
We want to say a very big thanks to his
media team who made this happen. It was
hard enough trying to get him on Easter
Sunday but Mr Agbaje was a good sport and
a gracious guest. Again, thanks.
Feel free to leave comments below.

Jimi on the right kind of experience.

First, if you do have experience, come out and show it. I don't see my opponent doing that, he doesn't want to exposed himself.

The other thing is that you don't have government experience doesn't mean you are not qualified. Look at Abraham Lincoln, no government experience. He came from the outside to change the norm. Mandela had no government experience. Come to Nigeria, Awolowo, Jakande had no government experience. They came from the outside.

Jimi on challenging the APC.

You do your polls Olisa, talk to the Okada riders, the market women, students, they'll tell you who they will vote for. The challenge I have is to ensure that my votes count.

Jimi on minimum wage in Lagos.

Olisa asked: The minimum wage is how much? 18,000 naira. Has it been in place in Lagos State?

Jimi: No

Olisa: So you're promising minimum wage, where is the money going to come from?

Jimi: You see there are leakages in Lagos State. All we have to do is block those leakages.

I'm sorry this is all I could type. For those that can't watch the video. Olisa also promised to invite the APC candidate. Thanks for your time. Lalasticlala pleeaasseee
PoliticsRe: Lagos Belongs To The Yorubas, Not A No Man's Land by adeoladrg(m): 2:04pm On Apr 06, 2015
Yorubas won't go to Rivers state and claim it's no man's land just because they accommodated you and allowed your business to thrive.

Who says igbos want to control lagos? just allow us to do our business in the shops we paid for, pay us our rent in the houses we built on the land we bought with our money. How does that mean controling lagos.
And there's nothing bad in what you just said.

wilsondave:
some people are so foolish and dumb.... Lagos is no mans land... 60% of businesses going on in Lagos is carried out by Igbo people..... where are the yorubas when the Igbo started there business.... I petty the dumb king that says any Igbo that didn't vote for a party will die... the king has being brainwashed likewise some bastard Yorubas.... using propaganda to cause ethnic problem.........what some Yoruba politicians are causing in Lagos I bet it with them they will suffer for it..... bunch of fools.... lazy people.... agbero....we true Yorubas know our selves we are not cowards.... onlike the egun that called him self oba that's asking for people to vote a party...... rubbish.....
You are very foolish if you're yoruba and you're saying Lagos is no man's land.

Just because Lagos is a cosmopolitan city. We have accommodated all tribes and ethnicities. Lagos has witness the highest amount of Rural Urban Migration from the Igbos. I also support Jaykay. Lagos belongs to yoruba.

And igbos will never control Lagos.
PoliticsRe: LAGOS 2015: Just Like Fulani In Ilorin.....reject Them. by adeoladrg(m): 12:43pm On Apr 06, 2015
Do you think Jaykay really cares about the Igbos? He just needs their votes.

Jaykay is an awoist to the core. He'll never allow the Igbos control Lagos.
PoliticsRe: Jimi Agbaje Respond To Calls For Lagos To Be Politically Aligned With The Federa by adeoladrg(m): 12:40pm On Apr 06, 2015
Jaykay is just been smart. That's all.

Although I don't believe Buhari's regime would antagonize Jaykay's government.

Vote for Jaykay.

Ambode is a Tinubu stooge. His former accountant to be precise. He'll deliver your money to Tinubu on a regs. Oba Akiolu is also scared that his part of the loot is going away if jaykay enters.

Be wise Lagosians. Be very wise!

PoliticsThe Heroes Of Our Democracy. My Short Piece. by adeoladrg(op): 4:50pm On Apr 01, 2015
My heart goes out to General Mohammadu
Akorede Okechukwu Buhari, the president elect
of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Honestly
before today, I've not been his best fan. But
his victory today has left a good feel in my
taste buds. He's the first hero of democracy.

To Prof Yemi Osinbajo. Truly every Moses
must go with his Aaron. You came with
eloquence, tact and vision. You are the hero
of democracy.

Secondly, I'll like to thank Prof Attahiru Jega.
He stood in the face of opposition. He didn't
bat an eyelid to the antics of Mr Orubebe. He
has done Nigeria another favor. He's another
hero of democracy.

To the people of Lagos who stood in the sun,
defied the rain and the errors of INEC to make
and maintain a stand. Eko o ni baje o. You
are the heroes of democracy.

To the people of Edo, Rivers and Imo who
faced alleged manipulations as it were but
still found room to carry out their civic duties.
You are the heroes of democracy.

To the Christians who didn't incoherently
conjoin religion with our future and supported
GMB, you are the heroes of democracy.

To the Igbos who didn't hold our President
elect's past against him. You believed in him
even if your brothers didn't. You are the
heroes of democracy.

To the northerners who trooped out to support
our General. You are the heroes of democracy.

To the members of the PDP who have
accepted our general and have congratulated
him. You are the real heroes of democracy.

To those who sold their votes for whatever
gains, you are the victims of democracy.

To the APC, you gave a new meaning to
'opposition' in the politics of Nigeria. You
believed. You stood. You are the heroes of
democracy.

To President Goodluck Jonathan GCFR. You
have given us a free and fair election. We
made history today. We've been vindicated in
the eyes of the whole world. You are the true
hero of democracy.

To all Nigerians. God bless you. You are the
heroes of democracy. Thank you.
