Please & please, I don't want war talkless of World war. I've seen documentaries of war & it's always bloody & devastating. People will underrate war because they're not involved but trust me war is brutal & I know this despite the fact that I've never been involved in one. I don't want to die young. I never even born. If World war starts & touches Nigeria, na then dem go force males to join Army. Ordinary Biafran war that lasted 3 years didn't make sense & now World war abeg ooo. Elites will fan flames of war only for the younger generation to be pushed to the forefront to die off under the pretext of dying for your country sometimes for very stupid, arrogant, nonsensical ideologies. Abeg ooo. I no want world war & I don't pray to experience it in my life time. God abeg
Don't worry, war won't happen. Put your trust in God and be prayerful for the peace between the two nations.

The Governors are trying cuz even when I was the class representative of my class in Harvard University, it wasn't easy controlling the affairs of students in my class. I ended up spending several fees that was meant for my fellow students. And for these Governors to be paying their state workers, they are trying and I really commend them on that.

Are you a Nigerian at all? They can't pay salaries but can embezzle millions of dollars and billion of naira. Are you aware of how all these evil governors own properties worth billion of dollars abroad? You're so funny.

I don't expect him to spend his whole energy fighting corruption but expect a pro development agenda as well, that is why you have ministers. Besides, it would shock you what setting the right tone can achieve. He has not even gotten into power yet but he is already fighting corruption. People are fleeing the country and NNPC and others are refunding money. Why? Because he has set the tone. When you think there would be no consequences for your action, things carry on the way they have for the past 5 years - Jonathan was very much pro corruption, that was the tone HE set.

Worthyisthelamb: The problem with Nigerians is that we are more reactive than proactive. We seem to be the grand master of post mortem. We only react when a catastrophe occurs whereas we are in good stead to take proactive measures against such occurrence.
Why siting a chemical laboratory in a proximity of a school peopled by children? Even if the lab is run illegally where are the relevant monitoring agencies to detect it and shut down the factory before grievous harm is inflicted on the innocents.
Thanks Worthyisthelamb, you spoke out my mind. We Nigerians are too lackadaisical.

Okija_juju: Meaning the guy was never dead...

The Doctors should be facing malpractice charges or negligence..

Even the bible says it that 'Its is appointed unto a man ONCE to die..', so if he resurrected, that means he was never dead..

You Christians should study your bible.. When you raise a dead person, Are you bringing him or her back from Hell or Heaven?

Fvck this story..
I think you can quickly file the first suite against the doctors. Even the devil himself runs away from prayer for he knows the meaning. Are you underestimating the power of prayer? Leave the things you cannot change. I was born where real juju (conc. one and not diluted) is given attention; we have tasted all... I say all... and we can see the difference in praying to God. Christ is the ultimate.

citizenisb: Dana Air flight 356 from Abuja to Lagos which landed miraculously at 7:30pm at MM2 airport Lagos after its right engine was lost mid air 30 minutes to Lagos. Luckily for the passengers the solo engine was able to manage a safe landing unlike the IJU Dana Plane which lost both engines and crashed.

It's a pity these Indians continue to play with the lives of innocent Nigerians but nemesis will catch up with them one day!!!
Until corruption stops in Nigeria, a lot of things will keep going wrong. Until we, the citizens ourselves, rise against the so called useless government we have, nothing will work in this zoo called Nigeria. If you know what the expatriates (especially the Indians-slave masters) are doing in this country , one will weep for Nigeria; The Federal Government has left them unchecked in their operations in Nigeria due to corruption.
Indians know how to sort themselves out. I had already walked with them before and I know them very well. They look at Nigeria as a place where they can quickly make money at the expense our citizens. Nothing like the expatriate quota being observed again at work places. A lot of things have gone wrong with this country... Do some of them even have work permit in Nigeria?

EducationRe: Most Annoying Common Grammatical Errors In English by adetsim(m): 6:40pm On Sep 16, 2013
JMOI: “It’s vs its”

Use “its” when you are referring to something that belongs to or is part of an animal or an inanimate object. “It’s” actually means “it is” or “it has”. So, when next you want to write something like this, “It’s
handle needs to be repaired,” think again.

“Who vs whom”

“I came into the office and was met by the polite secretary who I told you about .” Right? Wrong! The
correct statement should be, “I came into the office and was met by the polite secretary whom I told you
about.” “Whom” should be used when you are referring to the object (or as teachers would say, the receiver of an action) in a sentence.
The rule of the thumb is that if you are referring to someone other than the first person you mentioned in a
sentence – or yourself – you should use “whom”.

Double Negatives

Trying to be hippie and gangsta can land you in trouble, not only with the law, but with almighty English. How many times have you said something like this, “You ain’t gonna see nobody down there”? If you ever said it, you’ve violated one of the cardinal rules of the English language. This statement has two negative words, “ain’t” and “nobody”, occurring in the same sentence. Two or more negative words do not go together in a sentence.

Christianity EtcRe: Oyedepo Opens Abuja Winners Chapel by adetsim(m): 11:22pm On Sep 09, 2013
Boss13: The Federal Capital Territory was agog on Saturday when Bishop David Oyedepo inaugurated one of the biggest branches of The Living Faith Church, popularly referred to as Winners Chapel in Life Camp District in Abuja.

The church, which accommodates over 4,000 worshipers every Sunday, was built in less than one year.

Thousands of worshipers gathered to witness the unveiling of the cathedral, which is estimated to be over N300m.

Oyedepo, who was represented by a Senior Pastor, Dele Bamgboye, revealed that with the dedication of the branch, Life Camp and its environs were set to experience a spiritual rebirth.

He therefore charged the congregation to always have faith in God, as only Him can supply all their needs.

Top clergymen and some senior government officials in Abuja and in other northern states under the Winners Chapel family, were on ground to witness the official inauguration.

Resident Pastor of the church and younger brother to Bishop Oyedepo, Gideon Oyedepo, told journalists that the church project gulped millions of naira.

If we assume that God called this man, how about the brother?
Whether you assume or not, about his brother, this is a condition you cannot change so you better accept it like that; only pray that in this life, God should lift you up too in his infinite mercies. Oyedepo is up, let's only pray to be up to.

So travelling illegally with 80% death certainty is a road to success. You are making me laugh here. So if you are not having the travelling resources, which one do you think is a better option: to stay in Nigeria with a hope or to die in the desert? Me: Because I like it
Uncle: Do you know any programming language
Me: Yes, I know python and am still learning it.
Uncle: Who taught you?
Me: I learnt it by my self.
Uncle: Do not study com. Sci
Me: Why?
Uncle : Why waste 4 years in a Nigerian university studying Computer Science when you can learn it on your own or even register and learn it somewhere else.

Me: I will need the certificate when looking for work.

Uncle: Look, even if you want to learn computer science don't depend on your cert. When looking for work, you can work on your own.

To some extent, what he said is true. I advice other student not to take Computer Science as a course.
