He has good intentions alright, but he's gone too too far in his mechanisms. Nigeria is a third world country. 70% of her people are poor. 13 million children are out of school. 50% live on less than a dollar per person a day. 80% provide their own water and 55% their own electricity. It is wrong for us to compare ourselves with western countries with massive infrastructural, human and technological development when we don't even have a naija made phone.

Fashola has shifted his focus to the island. With massive infrastructural investments in a region that is by far more developed than its mainland counterpart. Lekki-Vi peninsula is the new London.
He has forgotten that it was the boys at Mushin that fought for him. The market women at IsoloEjigbo that carried his posters with enthusiasm. The Okada riders he has put of of job that rode with his motorcade during campaigns. He has forgotten the masses.

You're right of course. How I wished that the Anambrarians allowed this man. I served in his state when he was the governor and I could remember that he executed a lot of projects. On our passing out parade, police were sending us away from moving closer to him but he ordered that we should come and even hug him and that's how a lot of us moved closer to embraced him . In light of the fake recruitment websites cloning NSCDC as an organisation, this must have been a problem to the NSCDC. This means it must have been brought to the attention of the top hierarchy of the NSCDC.


When you visit the Job board here on NL, you can't but pity those who have been duped by fraudsters. When others tell them a recruiter is fake, they pray for such a person. Some, even reveal that they had already parted with their money and bought new shoes and clothes for some phantom interview/tests.

Are we thinking about how NSCDC is losing money to fraudsters? Are we thinking of those stakeholders who really wanted NSCDC to clarify things? This is no small issue you can wave with the hand. Fraudsters are also stepping up their game.

Mr. Shem needn't be a PRO to know the AUTHENTIC website of NSCDC. However, where I would've been sentimental is if he did not insist on his 'gra gra' with the journalists - I also don't see how the journalists forced him to say all he said.
