Parasites and lazy people have lost out
Time to find how to develop your backward States without free Oil money
Any protester found on the street on Monday should be shot - on - sight

PoliticsRe: Gov. Uduaghan Commissions 100 Buses To Boost Transportation In Delta State by adino(m): 12:40am On Jan 14, 2012
Lagbus has less than 500 working buses statewise, more than 2000 pf their buses are damaged, abandoned and parkrd at different locations all over Lagos. As for 10,000 new buses, it is a big hoax by oga fashola. I go to work from berger daily, if you are not in lagbus park btw 5 to 5.30 you will get late to work. more than 65& of the buses on that route are bad.
Though BRT performs better and have more buses. On the whole, Fashola is still the best when it comes to transportation (truth be told).
As for Edo state, My governor is fast distancing himself from ACN.

@ GAR3TH
The maturity in your reply is noted
PoliticsRe: Gov. Uduaghan Commissions 100 Buses To Boost Transportation In Delta State by adino(m): 10:58pm On Jan 13, 2012
The level of hypocrisy, tribalism and gross stupidi`ty in NL these days is so shameless. Governor Uduaghan who have arguably performed better than superman fashola should be commended for this feat. The best ACN can do is 10 rickety bus in Ekiti state by that Mr. English Governor (Fayemi). fashola and tinubu are busy calculating Lagos share of subsidy for them to loot and organise more owambe as usual.
Rivers, Niger, Anambra, Delta, Enugu and other reasonable State Governors are busy buying buses, subsidising transportation and cushioning the effect of subsidy removal, while some `idiots on cheap drugs are here making a fool of themselves shamelessly.
For your info. Uduaghan has done far more than Fashola at the infrastructural level.
PoliticsRe: If The Price Of Petrol Is Returned To 65, What Will Be The Effects? by adino(m): 10:22pm On Jan 13, 2012
Lest I forget, if there is a reversal to N65. There will definitely be fuel scarcity because Jonathan is now once badly beaten forever shy. Many import licenses will be revoked and the volume of pms to be subsidised will be drastically reduced. NLC/TUC just shot Nigerians in the foot.
For your info no govt even from Abacha was able to stop fuel scarcity. But, Jonathan stopped it and the marketers paid him back by stabbing him on the back. Nigerians has forgotten so soon that they never experienced fuel scarcity during this regime (first time in more than 15 years).It is unfortunate that we forget things easily in this country.
Everybody, goats, fowls, fools, idiots, failed politicians are all insulting him, forgetting the fact that it is the 36 State Governors that initiated the fuel subsidy removal in the first place only to back away when the heat blew up.
Why blame and even insulting GEJ alone?
Why the occupy carnival @ Ojota, when the ideal centre for occupy Lagos is supposed to be Lekki Toll Gate?
How come those artiste pay toll (to and fro)at Lekki and come to Ojota carnival to insult GEJ?
Why these gross hypocrisy?
I do not fancy Jonathan at this trying times, but my prayers are for him daily and I know he will succeed. My only happiness is that he now knows his friends.
IF WE DO NOT SUCCEED AS NIGERIA, WE WILL SUCCEED AS THE HARDWORKING PEOPLE OF SS, SE AND MB
PoliticsRe: If The Price Of Petrol Is Returned To 65, What Will Be The Effects? by adino(m): 10:21pm On Jan 13, 2012
@ franksmart
*Their will be fuel scarcity. All our neighbouring countries sale their fuel at the rate of N170+  which is over 100% gain if the dealers succeed in taking our oil there. they will not like to sell it in Nig. This is business.
*govt will not have the zeal to create more job because the poor masses have failed them.
*Every thing will remain stagnant as it were b4, if u can remember their has been no job 4 our our youth not to talk of the youth-to-be.
The security of our border will be weak cos of corrupt transactions by the fuel dealer around the border.
Once their is fuel scarcity the Price of fuel will increase may be to N80. (an average man will say afterall it is better than N140 but then we loose our employment govt promised our children).
*Their will not be private investors
This is a game of monopoly
The conspiracy of the rich. So, before you act think twice. If am to fight I will fight for my children cos they are to take care of me when am old. LET US COME OUT OF THIS RAT RACE. A little SACRIFICE

You are absolutely correct. Past Governments have looted Nigeria blind without caring a hoot about Nigerians and the left over effect (absolute poverty of the mind, body and soul) have affected most Nigerians that they cannot even reason at all.
It is a pity Nigerians have failed this govt. President Jonathan came at the most unfortunate time in our history and if Nigerians make him fail then we should forget about this country called Nigerians.
Those shouting revolution I just pity them, by the time it starts they will wish they were never born.

See me See Light, Abeg make una help me beg Nepa Phcn abi na Tcn dem dey call them now make them take light ooh. Too much light in my area (Ojodu Estate, Lagos) at least 15 hrs of Light daily for the past one week. Well, I go manage am sha.
Goodluck may have some issues but we should give him support and prayers, I believe in him seriously. GEJ is very bad guyz, he choose to liquidate the moribund Phcn during this strike so as to prevent another labour issue when Nlc calls this one off. Since people will be very weary and will not be in a hurry to start another strike over the useless phcn.
Thank God PHCN is now history, let labour/tuc and electricity workers protest this injustice, infact they should:
Occupy Transformers
Occupy Electric poles
Occupy High tension wires
Occupy Prepaid Metres

@dadicvila
Imagine the TUC chairman{Chika Onuegbu}asking us if we had medical certificate,that he is not sure we had medical certificates thats why we dint go for the street protest, where in the world do people need that to protest??
@Justcash
If you show him that one, he will ask you for bullet proof vest.
I bet you if the protesters provide those two, he will go ahead and ask if they have police report.
That dude knows what he is doing, he took part in the strike just to fulfill all righteousness. Rivers state is bigger than Nlc/Tuc.

This is called economic development, thank God the much feared and rugged Nlc/Tuc is getting demystified. I pity any state that does follow follow with those loafers; under-development will be their portion. With time and the success of this deregulation policy, Nlc/Tuc will be so useless that they will be forced to stay in their offices and do their jobs or be unceremoniously sacked like those useless phcn staffs.

I use to admire Amaechi, but the way he is going now I am flabbergasted and flabberwhelmed grin by him, you need to see the way he was reading the fixed cushioned price regime in rivers state on live tele (AIT). You wil not believe that none of the intracity route was more than N100.

That is what a leader should do, while superman overhyped Fashola is busy criticizing subsidy in secret and fantasizing on  owambe what he will use the billions to do.

See holiday oh, see groove. I just pray this groove last for one or even 2 weeks. So I can do more productive research at home before the strike fizzles out. Jonathan abeg stick to your guns, I bet not everyone has asked him/her self where NLC/TUC get the money to organise this protest from. All hotels in Lagos, Abuja and other protest friendly states are fully booked by these dudes, customised t-shirts and stuffs.
I guess it is never from their salaries, where do they get their money from? Subsidy beneficiaries is what all of them are.
For me subsidy removal is the way forward, the timing may be wrong but lets face it and ask ourselves how Chad, Niger and Cameroon have been coping since all these years despite paying more than N170 per litre.
At least our economy still manage beta pass their own na.

Just try and avoid some threads in NL since it is obvious that this forum has been overran by stupid`, silly and ignorant people as well as local champions like Gbawe who think they know little things but end up showing gross hypocrisy.
Beaf, you are better than this. Stop lecturing morons because some people will never learn. These are people who believe in nothing and join the trend by insulting Nigeria and its leaders while they are not part of Naija's future.
These same people will begin to praise GEJ all over the place when things turn around. WAEC, NECO and JAMB clearly verify my claims.

Nice one Nchara. In fact all S-E Governors should grant amnesty to death role inmates(only murder and armed robbery convicts) in prison and send them fully armed to the core Northern Nigerian States, while granting them at least 6 years of non-entrance to any SS or SE states.
Bakassi boys (Butcher Squads) should be set up in the communities of those that refuse to leave the north to ward off those aboki haram.
PoliticsRe: Acn Governors Declare Position On Subsidy by adino(m): 1:59pm On Jan 08, 2012
What a useless party, to think I once believed in them. ACN is the most useless party in Nigeria today, no wonder Oshiomole is going solo these days. People always blame GEJ forgetting that Fashola and some of his colleagues were the first people to suggest fuel subsidy removal as a means of paying the new minimum wage.
Look at these hypocrites demanding for more revenue when they generate virtually nothing to the country. They achieved nothing in that mumu meeting they went to, at the end of the month you will find all of them going to Abuja to beg for allocation with their plates and agbada.
The hypocrisy of ACN is getting too irritating these days, they will never produce a Nigerian President till the end of days.

all of you on nairaland are shameless and highly foolish.
you all cannot read between the line and face the reality on ground. you are all running your mouth against GEJ abi?
i can assure you all that you will all regret your stand against GEJ sooner than later

@seunlayi
even in the now, many people has started supporting the removal policy. A coup cannot work now but we can use the opportunity to correct some ills of our system of governance.

@eyesofgold
most of you just come here and talk what you like, without been rational. with some even clamouring for a military coup. i will write this boldly so that you can see it properly.
we are allowing callous politicians to incite us because of personal gains. we are allowing our emotions to lead us instead of our brains. but this is what i have to say.
GOODLUCK JONATHAN  IS THE LAST CHANCE NIGERIA HAS TO BE TRANSFORMED AND BECOME THE NIGERIA OF OUR DREAMS. IF THIS GOVERNMENT FAILS, NIGERIA WILL FAIL. IF THIS GOVERNMENT FAILS TO SUCCEED, NIGERIA WILL FAIL TO EXIST.
THOSE PRAYING FOR A MILITARY COUP, I HOPE YOUR WISHES ARE GRANTED, WHEN THE WAR STARTS IT WILL AFFECT YOU AS WELL, IF NOT, YOUR  FAMILIES WILL BE AFFECTED.
NIGERIANS BE WISE
It is a pity nairaland is now dominated by stupi`d and ignorantly fooli`sh people who gladly exhibit 100% idioc`y in a public forum without shame. It only shows how they were brought up and the type of Learning they had (educated illiterates).
My only advice to you guys
@LeoMax, @rafhell , @seunlayi , @eyesofgold
Leave them alone and allow them to revel in their stupidit`y, most topics in NL are better left alone to morons in their foolz paradise.

The entire 1600 buses are to be imported duty-free.
Another way of sharing the money!
PDP, SHARE THE MONEY!
It is a pity, Jonathan may not be getting certain things right but then the problems facing him is legend. That dude is facing the greatest challenges ever to encounter a Nigerian leader dead or alive. It is not easy, but then his advisors are really a big problem to him and Nigerians. But, i believe these problems will be overcome either as a united Nigeria or a divided country preferably.

xavier3g
The buses made by innoson are really good and i believe as efficient as most of the Japanese and Korean buses, i don't know why the FG wont support them
very correct my guy, it is a treason for the FG to abandon Innosson at this moment but then I think Jonathan core cabinet (Think tank) is made up of mainly Innosson's kinsmen. Tribalism apart, i think Ohaneze should begin to question their people in govt. Innosson must not be allowed to die.

@Leomax
Innoson should tender a bid and lets see if it will be refused.
I feel you, the time has come for Nigerian businesses to fight for what is rightfully theirs and don't just wait for govt to do father Christmas. If Zenox Computer waited comfortably they will never have been considered by INEC.
The President cannot do everything that is why he has Ministers and Advisors.
Why cant the so called rugged NLC fight for Innosson  motors cause on this issue
