Perhaps you can enlighten those of us who are not cassava farmers how to use the number of stems and length of branches to estimate the age of the plants.

Lesgupnigeria:
Thanks @ pavore9 for bringing my attention to this.
Mr foluso contacted me last year that he wanted to venture into cassava farming that I should advice him although we have had business relationship prior to last year ( we sold some acres of farmland to him).
When he told me about his idea of wanting to venture into cassava farming last year and will like us to oversee the cassava farm.

I said ok, we can set it up,oversee it and link you with the sellers with your representative/yourself on ground at least once in a bluemoon during the growing stage and then at the time of selling the cassava for transparency sake.

About 3 months into the cassava planting,we had fire incidence on our farm that consume about half of our cassava farm including his farm and some other clients farm.
I informed every cassava farm owners, and some of the challenges of small animals invading the cassava farm.Thankfully we were able to put it under control but not without some losses of acres of cassava which we wanted to replant but because of the dry season, we could not.

In order to recover for the losses, early this year (April/May),we had to start replanting those lost acres so that we can be able to meet our target which we did successfully.
Around July I started receiving calls practically almost every hour, to sell off his cassava and return the proceed to him.
How would I sell immature cassava or how would I use 25tons of truck transport 10tons or less worth of cassava?A lot of questions keep racing through my mind.

With so much pressure after some months,I finally succumb and have to sell some of our cassava with his own with the proceed sent into his account.
We presently have some of his planted and not-yet-mature cassava on our farm

Immediately after he acknowledge the 100k of the proceed paid into his account,he keep telling me I cheated him,and he will deal with me and that I will not survive this.
Even though I call and send SMS to explain things to him but he will it give me a listening ear.
I guess this is one of his strategy to paime me in a bad light?
He started sending life threatening message to me,I decided not to pick his call.I am still seeking advice on next steps to take
I think this is beyond business,Even if you have any personal issue with me,its something that you can discuss with me than trying to assassinate my character
This quote is from the thread where the OP of this thread was accused of cheating. Lesgupnigeria wrote there that In order to recover for the losses, early this year (April/May),we had to start replanting those lost acres so that we can be able to meet our target which we did successfully. . This is November. I am not a farmer but I do not think the cassava in those pictures are up to 6 months. Can any cassava farmer verify that 6 months old cassava plants can be that small?

Please, let's not mention fire again o. The investor can have a heart attack if he hears the words fire and cassava together. cheesy

eminikansoso:
Guy let be realistic here, though I don't know the size of the farm but what I saw on these pictures are not encouraging at all.
Those cassava are not in good condition and surrounded by bush and grasses. I pray that fire wouldn't catch the bush.

Nice farm you have there. Good job sir. This is a farm that the owner visits regularly.

eminikansoso:
All these online farm managers that know nothing about farming.
I swear if proper cares are not taken the result will be worst.
This is how a proper and well manage farm should look like.
Note do not consult me on farm management am not into management but practical farmer.

Very good.

Why can't we just apply the law of Moses in Nigeria?an eye for an eye.

You kill,you die too.

If Evans had been dealt with, the way he killed others. He will not be wasting the tax payers money at court, prancing around like a celebrity.

The bastard even complained he had not showered in prison. Where did he think he was?the Hilton Hotel?

The Police should not waste their time with killers. Just do the prayerful(needful)
Evans actually pleaded guilty the first time he was taken to court. The second time, the prosecution amended the charges and he changed his plea to not guilty. Sometimes it is actually our prosecutors that act like they don't want a case to be wrapped up quickly.

stagger:
You are crazy for insinuating I am defending the accused. If you cannot read, get someone close to you to go through all my posts here. How many times has the OP even come here to provide updates of what is happening so that people like you can stop yacking about? I want these "farm for me" schemes out of Nairaland because there are many more OPs who are guided by greed to the point where they cannot do basic due diligence.

OP has travelled to Ogbomosho. In case you don't know, Legsupngeria has opened a new thread in which he called the accusations against him "false". Yet you are here talking of whether the grass on the farm has been cleared or not. How does the grass in that cassava farm we are being shown provide settlement of this issue or prevent such things from occurring again?

People like you are derailing this thread with stupid and irrelevant comments. Is the proper thing not for the OP to come here to provide an update from his own angle? Should that not be what YOU should be talking about? You are more concerned with grass. How do you know that farm with grass shown in the picture is even the one shown to OP in Ogbomosho?
Thanks, you have made your point. Can you please allow those that have more reasonable things to say come forward?

And how it it also your business? Have you guys come to defend the accused again? You guys always refuse to say the truth. Look at the pictures, will you allow your own farm to be like that? If truly a fire incident happened before, is it wise to still leave the farm in this state? I know the other defenders will soon come and try to derail the topic again. Na so una dey do.

stagger:
Such questions should be coming from the OP whose money is at stake and not from you. You should be asking OP to give us his own updates and opinions from his own angle and not be issuing instructions here. You cannot be more Roman than the Romans.
AgricultureRe: Mr Yusuff Gbenga Lesgupnigeria Is A Tested and Trusted Businessman by adisabarber(m): 10:28am On Nov 23, 2017
But this cassava wey dey these pictures go reach how old?

Lesgupnigeria:
Good evening house,
As i earlier promised that updates will be given and openly shared on this thread.
I read where someone said I should have posted pictures whether real or fake; unfortunately,I could not find pictures taken last year when the incident happened and moreover I cannot post what I did not have whether real or fake.
As suggested,OP transportation cost was bear by us to and fro from Lagos to ogbomoso and he was able to make it to the farm yesterday
OP and I spoke entensively on the issues and apologies were made for the misunderstandings and trying to give bad reputation
I will be sharing pictures and videos taken with permission from the OP.
AgricultureRe: Mr Yusuff Gbenga Lesgupnigeria Is A Tested and Trusted Businessman by adisabarber(m): 10:26am On Nov 23, 2017
Isn't it obvious that that farm looks neglected? See all those grass in the background, that is recipe for disaster and if truly the accused knows what he is doing, he should work on it.

Eminikansoso,

Oga na WA for you ooo, pray for the OP so that he should reap the fruit of his remote farming labour. ,which one be fire again, please we no want to hear story of fire or bush meat eat cassava again oo. grin grin grin

Legsupnigeria- please take steps in mitigating against bolded risk and ensure you put in 110% effort in seeing that the OP gets a good harvest and profits this time.

Many thanks for your effort

FamilyRe: My Wife Had A Son For Another Man, What Should I Do? by adisabarber(m): 10:14am On Nov 23, 2017
Let me be blunt. Your story does not make much sense. The boy is close to 2 and you already have a daughter. Let's assume your baby was born recently, subtract 9 months from 2 years that leaves 1 year 3 months. Are you telling me you started dating your wife when she was still nursing her son? Or am I getting something wrong?

Hi everyone.

I do really need your advise on what to do before taking action. I'm a young married guy and married to a single mother. Initially I never knew she had a son but when i got to know i accepted my fate and moving on. We now living together and had my own daughter for me.

The step son started school now under my roof cos he's just a year plus now close to 2. I just discovered the surname the mother used to register the boy is her real dad that they never lived nor stay together. What should i do? is this really true love or i'm fooling myself? I've been taking care of this boy for more than a year now and this is happening.

Please, what should i do? Thanks and God bless.
