Read the two bolded sentences again. One says the manager confessed, the other says he said he doesn't know the guys. Which do we believe?
FunkyAlhaji2015: Burna Boy can not walk of this, he is roped too tightly. There's a confession and a motive. He acted like an amateur. Threatening Mr. 2kay publicly was his greatest undoing. He was always going to be a prime suspect with that. The confession from his manager nailed him finally. No lawyer can save him. They will only eat his money.
Who has the time for all that? Naija police only know how to beat a confession out of someone and now that they have seen the robbers, they don't really care about Burna. Burna did not call those robbers from the little we have read so far and his so called road manager has denied them. Another question is, did they give Burna the stolen items? There are many unanswered questions that are needed to pin this on Burna. I am not a Burna fan and I am not saying he did it or he did not do it. I am just trying to point out the fact that it is a foolish thing to allow someone use you like a pawn.
GavelSlam: Until text messages, phone calls, eye witnesses and timelines suggest otherwise.
NaijaCelebrity: The police have paraded Burnaboy's manager alongside the other men allegedly involved in robbing Mr 2Kay at Eko Hotels. Burna Boy is also wanted for his alleged involvement in the attack.
Acting Police Commissioner Imohimi Edgal yesterday said investigations conducted and confessions from some of the suspects arrested showed that Burna Boy contracted them to teach 2Kay a lesson.
Abiye was attacked by four armed men inside his room 847, at Eko Hotels, Victoria Island on October 22. The singer, who was beaten and tied up by the armed men, allegedly lost his Audemais Piquet (AP), automatic gold wristwatch worth $25,000, gold jewellery valued at N1.5million, mobile phones, a pair of Adidas shoes, cash and perfumes to the thieves who posed as hotel workers.
The suspects are Balogun Ademola, 23, Obinna Igwe, 20 and Omotore Tunmise, 27.
Ademola and Igwe are said to be students of the University of Lagos. Tunmise is an artisan.
“The gang confessed that Burna Boy, through his road manager, Joel Kantiock, paid them to rob Abiye, according to them, to teach the victim a lesson. Kantiock confessed that his boss Ogiulu instructed him to look for armed men that can rob Abiye to teach him a lesson. He mobilised the gang with an initial cash sum of N50,000 and a subsequent N50,000 when the job was completed.” Kantiock however, denied knowing any of the suspects. But the gang leader, Omotore, said Kantiock invited him to deal with Mr. 2Kay on the orders of his boss.
He said,
“Kantiock called me on the telephone and said Mr. 2Kay had to be beaten up. He said Mr. 2Kay had issues with Burna Boy. On getting to the hotel, he gave me the room number where Mr. 2Kay was. He led me and three others, including one Sunny, to the elevator and told a security man to open the elevator for us. We posed as room service officials, entered his room and beat him up. We tied him up and collected his phones, a wristwatch and some other things. I was paid N50,000.” According to Igwe:
“Omotore contacted me. He said Burna Boy told his road manager that he was having a misunderstanding with Mr. 2Kay.”
Nothing will happen to him unless the manager can prove that Burna sent him to hire those guys.

If you have been following this matter, you will not need to ask this question. Those that are commenting know the full gist.
udemzyudex: Why did sound city block him? Nobody is asking that question but instead they are attacking him cos he said he will block sound city artists in GH.
That's the problem with most Nigerians, even those who don't know what happened and how it happened will join the show of shame, just because it a a GH and NG thing.
No wonder the government doesn't take us serious, cos they fail to ask the right question to move them forward.
He's a proper fraudster. No doubt about it. A genuine businessman cannot have so many similar problems at the same time.

You need to plant the tobacco. Snakes usually follow the scent of rodents. Keep your surrounding rodent free and that might keep snakes away
jfkenny: Local tobacco plant; is it the leaves or it has seeds. It will be hard for me to get, I want to buy the chemical then give it to those that fumigates.
Can someone kindly teach the accused how to attach pictures to posts on Nairaland?
If I do not see pictures, I will continue to insist that the accused is guilty. How hard can it be to show us pictures (fake or genuine like someone said earlier)? Everything the accused is trying to do now is what I call face saving measures. If it was those days that anyone could just get a bank account with any name, he would have gone underground and probably changed his nairaland ID to legsdown or legsright and repackage his format.
Just pay the man his money and STOP running this hustle.
She is one of the 6 that qualified because she is good. If you deny her the opportunity, she will still get a job elsewhere.
Nedfed: My elder brother happen to be a Managing direction of a private Organisation. The Organisation conducted aptitude test and interview for the qualified applicants on Monday, but only 6 out of 25 applicants were picked (4 mens and 2 ladies). This afternoon while I was in his office, he showed me the names and the Cv of those people. But to my greatest surprise my Ex who break my heart back then at the Polytechnics happen to be among. This lady drop me purposely because am from a poor home and follow another guy despite all the love and cares I show her. I think this is the pay back time, Should I block her way? Cause what she did then is still fresh in my heart.
Oga Fluentinfor, thanks for taking your time to write everything you wrote. It is not easy to devote so much time to something that is not really one's problem. Those of us that have been saying the accused is guilty right from the start are those that know this scam very well. With your experience, you don't need to wait until a ponzi scheme collapses before you know it is fraud. You don't need to wait until I give my money to people "washing" dollars before you tell me it is a scam. There are some scams that follow a carefully orchestrated pattern and when you see someone that has already fallen, you just know the money is gone. In this age where people will rather take pictures than help accident victims, a farm manager has no pictures to prove that a farm he is managing was engulfed! If that doesn't smell like a scam, I wonder what will. He also blamed the investor for not coming to see the farm. That is ridiculous. If the presence of the investor was so important, why did he keep collecting money? Why didn't he tell the investor to come and see the farm before paying any more money? He even claimed he stopped picking OP's calls because of insults and threats. Was he expecting OP to sing to him and praise him on the phone after all that happened? OP will be lucky if he gets his money because this looks like that time when scammers just change ID and office.
