stupidmod2:
how is killing a cat sensible? wetin clean or dirty environment as to do with cats? ur comment isnt sensible i swear
Dirty environment+ bushy env.attracts rats, rats attract cats in that order. I hope you understand.

As for killing the cat, I am particular about the paragraphs above that. Besides, if the cat is wild and unyielding, something has to be done so OP can get some sleep at night.
Christianity EtcRe: Should I Be Worried About This Black Cat? by ADMAF(m): 10:17am On Dec 06, 2020
Gabbriell:
OP, it's a normal habit for stray and wild cats especially old ones. Idon't really know why they do that...but same thing happened in my area.

Just make sure your surrounding is clean.Rats, Reptiles and Chicks are what draw the attention to such place.

Keep your souroundings clean. Left over food or waste bins invite rats/reptiles which inturns invite cats.

You can set trap for it and kill it if you want to eat it otherwise let it be as it is harmless.

PoliticsRe: Look Inwards, Are You Better Than The Politicians You Curse? by ADMAF(op): 10:45am On Oct 18, 2020
StaffofOrayan:
This is called an Ad Hominem abusive fallacy "The argument attacks a position by appealing to the despicable qualities, moral turpitude, and over-all lowness and meanness of a person who holds the position"

The OP's argument is already a fallacy

The problem is not the youth, the problem is the system that keeps using money to keep us in slavery by paying an overseer among us
They are already paying leaders in this endsars ish
Its evident you think OP is bringing this to counter the apparently awakening youth consciousness while the premises of the writeup is totally different. My concern is what happens post protest.

Just shut up!
In 20 years we would start calling our own children thieves, lazy and fraudsters
Like these clowns call us
We are saying the cycle of foolishness stops now!
Think deep! THIS post is not against the current youth movement in any way. Rather, its just asking everyone of us to look inwards and take necessary steps to correct our inadequacies so that when power eventually gets into the hands of youths, we wont return to the mistakes our predecessors made.
PoliticsLook Inwards, Are You Better Than The Politicians You Curse? by ADMAF(op):
Wise words copied from a Nigerian blog's comments section. This was made in response to the recent impeachment of the NANS president.

N.B: This post is not an indictment on the current efforts of youths to reform the Country. Rather, its a wake up call to us so that when the youths eventually get into power, the mistakes of the past are not repeated!

Another example of why most of us are no different from the leaders we curse everyday. You don't need a soothsayer to predict the kind of gov or senator this dude would turn out to be when he gets the opportunity to represent his people. And yet, he'd sing Aluta songs all day long in their students meetings. Hypocritical buffoon. Most of the idiots who rush to this blog everyday to complain about corruption and call Nigeria a zoo are themselves the reason why this blessed nation is stuck in traffic. You moan daily about why things remain the same but you haven't stopped making fake drugs, selling rubbish body cream, duping people of their lands and money, promising fake jobs, selling rotten tomatoes for fresh ones and pocketing the cash, stealing public funds, organising exam malpractices, offering sex for marks, bribing govt officials, receiving bribe to destroy evidence, lying to your client and colluding with the prosecuting bench, waylaying travellers on the road and dispossessing them of their properties, kidnapping your fellow citizens for money, trafficking desperate youths into slavery and organ reaping schemes, fucking your teenage house girl, sodomising your madam's son/daughter, raping your junior colleague in the office, offering fake employment letter, stealing building materials after collecting your wages, collecting salaries from three different universities but working in one, deceiving gullible congregation with idiotic miracles and taking their money, pretending to love a man or woman while taking his or her money, appropriating funds meant for refugees welfare into your personal account, running baby factory, building estates from 150k monthly salary as govt official, and taking brown envelope from crooks to cover up damaging stories. These are some of the things we do everyday to ourselves but somehow expect our nation to progress and prosper. Remember that whenever you curse Buhari or Osinbajo for your hunger, let your conscience also judge your personal iniquities against Nigeria. Be good to your neighbour so that we can all have a nation to be proud of. Our corrupt leaders are our mirror images and it would be stupid to expect to reap cocoyam after sowing weed. We are all complicit in this game of do as I say but not as I do.

The fanfare and commissioning ceremonies given to basic infrastructural projects even when uncompleted in Nigeria baffles me...i have never mistakenly seen in Europe, America, Australia and other developed climes where govt holds ceremonies to commission basic infrastructural projects. We need to change our mentality of mediocrity.
Core (basic) Infrastructure isnt neglected to rot for so long in Europe and U.S. Nigerians will stop celebrating these as achievements when we have a culture of responsible governance over a sustained period. For now, its worth celebrating and Nigerians should celebrate!

Good! Since a dead man couldn't revenge his death, then why couldn't God avenge for him since he's the Almighty? why would those in authority have to the offender instead of God the Almighty?? lol.
That is between man and man. The Secular state is there to protect man against man the natiral evil tendencies of fellow men. Have you read Thomas Hobbes? Thats the idea behind a secular state. The argument here is different. One avenges on behalf of man while in this case, another seeks to avenge for God.

Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “Forgiveness is more beloved to Allah than vengeance, mercy is more beloved to Him than punishment, grace is more beloved to Him than justice, and giving is more beloved to Him than withholding.”

your brain has gone haywire! Why do you kill a murderer and not wait for God himself to punish him or her?
That's quite different. A dead man cannot avenge himself, but that's where God should be superior to mere mortals. He doesnt need mere mortals to avenge on his behalf cos he is supposed to be all powerful.Isnt that why he is reffered to as ALMIGHTY?

I am particularly disappointed at ABU, it is only of the most funded universities in the country, why then is it falling short in rankings.

Front page worthy thingy.
One of? ABU receives the most funding of any public University in Nigeria.I hold no grudges but I think UI deserves the largest funding of any educational institution in Nigeria.

The ranking has to do with something else and alot of factors put together coz I don't see why a Nigerian university should be among the top 500 in the world.
Times higher is the word's most reputable (trusted) ranking. You can google na.

America that I know can't cure a foolish govt. The USA will rather watch the Nigerian govt proceed with it's stupidity, but let it not cross over to affecting them or their allies. Since Nigeria wants to self destruct, they will help us achieve it faster. Las las they will sell and test their new weapons on the soil of foolish countries.
You are obviously ignorant of US foreign policy, and to think that people like you are the first to offer their opinion is just... well, sad. U.S foreign policy on Nigeria was on FP just last week but you guys will never open to read.

BusinessRe: Nigerians Stop Wailing Ghana Did Nothing Wrong Shutting Down Shops. by ADMAF(m): 12:34pm On Aug 15, 2020
Sakamaje:
I can't help but agree with the Op. I think Nigerians can generally have a high tendency to be very lawless in other countries if allowed. Maybe Ghanaians themselves encouraged the flouting of their own laws initially when they deemed it harmless. But apparently they are now feeling threatened that if something is not done their local retail markets could be overrun by Nigerians who may be coming in with funds being sourced from [/s]questionable [s]sources that their local retailers can't compete with. In light of that I can't say I blame them for protecting their turf. If every country simply allows foreigners free reign to come in and compete in their markets without certain restrictions, many countries would be overrun by foreigners in no time. There is nothing like absolute free trade anywhere in the world.

Let's not be naive. Even the developed countries have protectionist policies that protect certain sectors of their local markets/economy, so let's be guided.

I keep receiving bank alerts from access bank in the new mtn sim I bought even though I have no access bank account.
The names attached to the alerts are also different and strange
I don't know where this is coming from, should I destroy the sim and get another?
IS it pre-registered? Whether or not you destroy the card, it is very important for you to report the issue to mtn. This will safe guard against any potential problems with security agencies.

Stop saying nonsense Oga..admission in Nigerian faderal universities are always competitive.. In 2018 , UNN produced 20 first class students from law school while Ui produced just 12.. UNN have always produced more first class students in law more than Ui.. It was just last year and maybe this year that Ui produced more than UNN
This is needless man. All fed. Unis are competitive. I never disputed that. My point is and has been that UI is the "MOST"competitive.
About performances in Law, UI is traditionally reknowned for Medicine and Surgery, science, social science and the arts (part. philosophy and Languages. Law is relatively new to the institution.UNN's law faculty began in 1960, UI's got full accreditation 24 years after.
