3. Nigeria has no workin' satellites so how the Bleep did they capture this video? Bomber jets & fighter jets do not come with undercarriage cameras. Judgin' by the footage, the camera was stationary and not moving fast. There's no single bomber/fighter jet in the world that can stop mid-air.

The USA State Department approved sale of A-29 Super Tucano attack planes to Nigeria in a deal worth $593 million. News release from Defence Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) reports it includes the 12 aircraft as well as “all associated weapons and ammunition, training, spare parts, aviation and ground support equipment, hangar facilities, and infrastructure required to support the program".

Look at building of hangars, look at big store rooms of spare parts, look at US instructors and maintenance personnel, look at the training of maintenance personnel. The cost is not an issue. You are 100% correct about initial RPG but I am sure there were no (or very few) MRAPs in that convoy and too few soldiers to go super suppressive.
There is a stupid culture in the NA of going lightly armed on guard/ escort duties. They always underestimate opposition. Very many such incidents in the Niger Delta

Also the people Boko Haram throws into this kind of thing are programmed to die. Possibly many fighters were involved so a ratio of three to one is bad odds. The only good thing is that they probably exposed themselves too much on this and suffered devastating losses in the hundreds.
