Buhari is a honest man surrounding himself with crooks all in a bid to win elections. He shouldnt forget that democracy and military rule are not thesame. Because its from thesame crooks that helped him win elections that he'll pick his ministers, special advisers, etc. And the actions and inactions of these people will count for or against him, thesame thing Gej is facing right now.
GMB is different from GEJ. Please be clear about this. The APC i suspect is going to make that differentiation very clear in the days ahead.

Exactly what I've been trying to sink into the partitioned brain of those apc cretins and buhari almajiris

Jonathan and the old general is not fit to rule Nigeria.
You are just an apologist for Jonathan trying to cast yourself as a neutral to create doubt. A leader is not a civil.servant. Iran is going to space, manufacturing advanced weapons and standing up to the us and that country is governed by.people.who only went to islamic school. In the US, Ronald Reagan was an ordinary actor, some people regarded him as the US second best republican president. Leadership is about values and vision and the communication of it. For the job of president, not everybody has the natural leadership skills to do the values and vision thing, Jonathan is one of those people who dont have it.

This same people will discover that this man is totally empty in just 3months after he takes over power
You dont know the meaning of empty. As for those wondering why Buhari is back, think of what Nigeria lost and has to go back to get from where it lost it. For the.people who dont understand that then the problem is more serious than we thought.

The OP does not understand English. All the article is saying is that GMB has given Jagaban the job of picking a VP for him based on his wide knowledge of candidates. Simple.
Amaechi, Fashola, Oby, Pantomime, Osinbajo and others are still in the running.

Politics › Re: What Makes People Think That Buahri Can Win GEJ? by Adminisher: 6:08pm On Dec 12, 2014
1. GEJ has lost goodwill. We actually all suported him as an underdog but he has failef.
2. After xmas the country wakes up to economic problems, threatened unemployment, collapsing oil prices, poor naira exchange rates and most states start retrenching workers. Please dont annoy me about GEJ not being responsible for oil price.crash because we actuslly elect presidents so that we can blame them for what they dolid not cause.
3. In the midst of the hardship coming before Feb. elections, APC will release info on corruption and lead newvnarratives about jumbo salaries in the NASS and other salacious stories.
4. Northern PDP govs are not with GEJ, he promised only one term and is going for two terms...all bets are off for the presidential elections.
5. The PDP itself is a bungling party and has lost bright intelkectuals who can craft political warfare, the few there are have been weakened by too much money.
6. GEJ has very bad aides who are not helping issues in terms of being able to anticipate opposition moves which cah be very sly.
7. The only geo political zone GEJ is sure of is the South East. The South South is looking dicey because politicians think. A clever young politician asks himself what happens in 2019, the idiots are asking what happens in 2015. In 2019, Jonathan leaves and for somebody with national ambitions, he would have lost four years just to serve the interest of GEJ, PEJ and Wike..no way for that.
8. The only irrational operators are the PDP South East. What they are playing at is a short term game that ends up in a few guys becoming senators and governors. Only Rochas and Ngige have a national presence.
The question for the east, what is the game plan post Jonathan?
Generally we are going to have:
APC: NW, NC, NE, SW, parts of middle belt and SE
PDP: SE, SS, Large parts of middle belt, Abuja, Parts of Lagos and Oyo.

Malabu oil, that one was chopped fast, very fast

Oil subsidy scam billions stolen using mules who are still keeping the money for them

$20bn missing NNPC funds

Lumping security with defence and spending more than 4 trillion naira in three years. Security funds are never probed so when you lump the subhead with defence you can have.a jamboree. Real weapons started trickling to fronline soldiers only 4 months ago.

Payback time is here. Whether we like it or not 2015 - 2019 is Buhari' s time. Even if he is rigged out again which is very dangerous to even contemplate, whoever takes over the govt after all the wahala will have to govern in accordance with discipline, rationality, honesty and lack of corruption. There is no other way for Nigeria with $60 per barrel oil.
Politics › Re: The Beginning Of The End Of Nigeria by Adminisher: 11:07am On Dec 12, 2014
I want to address this Niger Delta stopping oil flow for a minute. There has been a lot of this going around and is time to face it once and for all.
First of all, about 40% of Nigeria's oil now comes from offshore.
The fastest way to destroy the Niger delta finally is for militants to stop oil production. I want whoever is thinking about doing it to devote about three days of thought to it. The FG has Navy and airforce so militants will never be able to sell the oil. All derivation funds will stop. Also no money will be transferred from the federation account to the oil producing states which will call widespread poverty and crime will increase.
Piracy, gang warfare, armed robbery and rape will destroy the fabric of Niger Delta society and destroy an entire generation. New warlords will challenge the Tom Polos and Asaris and another era of gang warfare starts.
Meanwhile a naval blockade of the region causes Biafra like starvation and the UN steps in with their interference.
In three months alone all the gains made by the region would have been destroyed.
The oil itself nobody wants anymore so all this is just low IQ vituperations.

LIES, LIES, LIES

The PDP has challenged Buhari to issues based campaign. What they have not done is told their e warriors to stop spreading g inflammatory rumours on Nairaland. Buhari is not, can not an never at anytime wanted to Islamize Nigeria. I smell victory for APC considering the panic with which PDP has started spreading falsehood and demagoguery.
Politics › Re: Chibuike Amaechi, Rivers State Governor. APC Primaries Biggest Loser!!! by Adminisher: 10:05am On Dec 12, 2014
This is unnecessary bad belle and sour grapes displayed by the OP.
Rivers State again has become first amongst equals in choosing Nigeria's next president. T[b]his is not a loss but a position of power. Please remove sentiments and vengeance from your thinking and imagine how this governor who was nothing a few years ago has successfully positioned himself into kingmaker in Nigerian politics. You also need to explain to me why the Akwa Ibom State governor as well is not a loser by spending his money on behalf of the FG on the PDP.

This is a lot of fear and vexations of spirit. You must have spent 4 hours thinking up and typing this long epistle, all 31 paragraphs of it. Sorry o, but we don't believe a word of it. The only thing I support is the premise you are basing all these upon which is that GEJ is admittedly very bad but we must also be careful with Buhari. Our answer to you is..''we have heard you".

Some south westerners amaze me.they jst want to be slaves to the northerners.the northerners have hijacked the party structure of apc and the sw are foolishly following them.tinubu has totally sold the sw into slavery.this is jst the reality on ground
Please stop this trash!!!!. The SW has a problem with GEJ not his tribe. Also historically the Niger delta and SE have been the prostitutes to the north..go and read your history. GEJ is the problem, there is something about leadership and the Yoruba' s conception of it that is offended when you observe GEJ's style. Even his supporters amongst the Yorubas don't respect him, they say he is humble, translate that to mean stupid and willing to do stupid things to be a president without real power. I personally suspect the guy has 'down syndrome' and it is only when there is money to be made or some evil to perpetuate that the guy shows smarts. SW Nigeria does not like GEJ, pure and simple.

Geo politically speaking, when NPN Shehu Shagari' s gov t was in power all the votes they used to beat Awolowo always came from the SE/SS. At the PDP convention in Rivers an elder statesman was saying the same thing about the special relationship between the north and the SS/SE. Zik ganged up with Shagari against Awolowo during the second republic.
Even during the June 12 elections, it was only in the east that Abiola did not gather much votes. As for Obj's handover, i said it somewhere that Odilli had already bought the entire north in preparation for the presidency before Obasanjo stopped it dead. After the amnesty, Yaradua personally was more popular with Niger delta militants than Buhari during their own elections. If there is any region closest to the North in Nigeria, it is the SS, SE.

People are just spreading falsehood because Jonathan is in power, is corrupt and incompetent and the SW does not like him. Of all the candidates that coukd have arisen from the north only Buhari is acceptable to the SW and this is because of credentials garnered during the Buhari/Idiagbin regime, we all saw that on display today at the APC convention.
Please accept the fact that your simpleton president is not good enough and going down in 2015.
