Supported. To add to that, all currently well performing GEJ ministers were inherited from the Obasanjo administration or nominated by him personally. You can go and check this fact. |
Compare a Nigerian university graduate of the 70s with a graduate of now then you will know the meaning of this picture. |
THIS IS A BIG LIE. Cocoa exports have improved commendably but to say it is $10bn a year is being very dishonest from the minister. People should be careful the way they bandy figures about. |
Mr Omokri, be careful as people are now more likely to post pictures from Adamawa which will paint a more pathetic picture than this ordered migration. |
omololu2020:Please stop this foolish talk. This Lt. Col Agwu has been in the eye of the storm more than once and he keeps going back to the front. I think he is a fairly good officer with very bad superiors and some really bad soldiers. I am more worried about the northern officers who abandoned ship as this might have been an act of sabotage and a rather successful attempt to donate weapons to BokoHaram. The major damage to the Nigerian Army is coming from the Commander In Chief himself, how could one man set out to damage everything he met that was okay when he came in?. If we have the right president the army will have a sense of belonging. This GEJ government is too watery and decadent for the structured leadership that the Nigerian army needs. He would prefer a military of hemp smoking ijaw militants. |
2sureguy1:Big liar. NURTW has millions of members and completely private sector. Lagos State alone has hundreds of thousands employed in the transportation industry and regulatory bodies ...all not involving the FG. |
Nosa77:Bullshit. No explosive residue on all the bodies recovered. Please think of something else. Maybe the MEND angle is even a more creative lie to tell. Let them tell us about their new type of explosive material that forensics cannot detect at least we will give them some points for originality. |
Ihedioha will not be impeached. He will play neutral and watch events develop. |
mikeansy:This is political amateurishness you are displaying here. What you are suggesting for Ihedioha is political suicide. Some people think Jonathan is the only politician in Nigeria. Please be realistic. I want to remind you of what Abubakar Rimi said on June 12, ...'i am not in politics because of MKO Abiola''. So many people on the street don't think deep and understand Nigerian politicians. Self interest is everything. It pays Amaechi who needs national exposure to rubbish Jonathan as it will pay Inedioha to think about his national political career in all he is doing, this involves keeping relationships and not burning bridges. The Hoise of Reps in particular is one tricky body, something has been brewing there. Jonathan has at most 4 more years if he wins the next elections. What happens to other politicians from Eastern Nigeria after that?, you think Rochas Okorocha is an idiot?. If I am a politician in my late forties or early fifties would I burn bridges with the north and west because of one man who is leaving office in four years?. How did Jonathan become consensus candidate of the PDP?..Was it out of love and affection or a business negotiation giving all incumbent governors a second term and all 2-term governors a seat in the senate or ministerial appointment? Why don't you realise yet that that the House of Reps is a movement that will develop into a new party that will be built on the carcass of the current PDP and ultimately APC. People are mapping themselves into relevance at the national level and positioning themselves long term and you are thinking only about GEJ. I think Ihedioha should go with the majority tendency of the house, there might be a lot of cross carpeting before December so it is hard to define what majority is for now. Abeg park well. |
Why leave out the CDS?. This is CAN showing itself as a political and very selfish organization. That the NSA and Minister of Defence are bad is agreed but what of the diarrhoea mouthed ineffective CDS?. |
These people are coming to loot. Eedris Abdulkareem is the only contemporary musician who has a social conscience and courage. All these finely made up, coiffed young men and women are thieves. |
This website content could only have been amended by NASS staff with the authority of the House of Reps principal officers. If the deletion was made by any other party, say the executive branch or the PDP then we have a serious problem in this country. |
This is another big lie to confuse the under 35 generation. Gowon was between 33 and 40 years old and Head f State when Nigeria built 450, 000 kilometres of roads, bridges and highways in just a few years. Before all that, during the first republic, comprehensive free education and the building of the largest middle class in the black world by Obafemi Awolowo who also achieved the first TV station in Africa. The northern region government achieved unbelievable agricultural development. On the military side, after Gowon's overthrow, the Murtala/Obasanjo regime continued Gowon' s developmental pace with added focus on corruption, achieving growth rates of 11% and more, Nigerian shipping line was the largest in the third world, Nigerian airways one of the best, all refineries, petrochemical plants, steel plants and fertilizer plants were built . Even the Shagari regime did more for industries and defence than GEJ. IBB overthrew the Buhari regime and with the connivance of the western world completely destroyed Nigeria. That is the story kids, Uncle Doyin has been lying to you. Nigeria was better governed than at any time in history till IBB came in. Jona does not even come close to the first four in terms of good governance and is well known as the least intelligent president we have ever had. |
The demographics of Nigeria is actually a big problem. Most young people 35 and below don't know the issues. People have been lied to by their parents. The big problem in Nigeria is corruption, not religion or tribe. There is whole sale stealing of the future of our children by entrenched interests, ten percenters and the people they put in government. These people regard government and politics as a business. A very profitable business involving stealing our wealth and our sweat. GEJ is just one of them and he is essentially a patronage distribution node nothing more. Some of his critics are also part of them but of these people, most of them will be settled and finally support the President. The only outsider is Buhari. |
All these articles are wasted on our President. Jonathan cannot understand most of these and if he did would not be able to do anything about corruption, the stolen defence budget or income inequalities. He has even been heard to gloat over the number of private jets owned by billionaires, his people in Otuoke don't have light and millions of young people in the Niger delta are bursting crude oil pipes and engaging in crime and militancy. Is that a normal human being? Many people do not understand the serious intellectual limitations of our President. He was chosen carefully by the Godfathers for qualities that he lacks. The man is a delight to all those who work for him because they can do and steal anything and get away with it. He just does not understand much about anything, a complete blank tabular Rasa. This is the man they need to stay in office, speaking unintelligibly, blinking and flinching confusedly while they take apart the whole country. |
harde2lah:Where your president got it wrong is that all the noise about corruption is not on the alleged numerical dollar value of the aggregated accusations but the pervasiveness of the practice. From the airport officials, to the police on the roads pinning a false allegation on you for money, to the lecturers in university asking to sleep with female students for grades... you have 80% of Nigerians engaging in corruption. Where is the country going with that. Go to your president and tell him that you pray that his great grandchildren will live in a country as corrupt as Nigeria is now and he will quickly retract and beg you. You have to be cowardly and clueless as a president to say corruption is over exaggerated. I think both are true of GEJ. He was making the statement to impress godfathers Anenih, Babangida, Arthur Eze and his other masters not us Nigerians. |
He knows that, stop stating the obvious. |
GMB |
Goddex:This is sentiment working. GEJ himself scored himself B minus one year ago so you are being dishonest here. |
rallymento:There is the PDP evil and there is the APC evil. That is not what is at play here, afterall APC senators are also enjoying $1.2million salary. What is being asked is personal. Is GEJ deserving of another term in office. The answer is NO. The PDP knows it has people who are better but everyone has been partially bought. |
Omimah:The PDP majority is a mirage. There are even no more political parties as far as I know. There are nexuses of interests that will shock people who still dont realize that GEJ is only leading a faction of PDP that is agreeable to his 2015 ambition. If things are pressed into play too soon, yawa go gas. |
Now I am getting really scared for Nigeria. The joke is becoming even more 'jokey'. Only in Jonathanian Nigeria. We are also waiting for Afrocandy, Mikel Obi, Tontoh Dikeh, Genevieve Nnaji, Oge Okoye and Maheeda. Once you have your name in the papers, the notoriously 'blank' uncle Jona and his lightweight PDP machinery are ready to sign you. No need for ideology, political philosophy, programs or even a social conscience ...just popularity and you are in. Let the looting begin. |
3/10; some very good ministers, very very bad President. Unfortunately no minister can assume the job of president. So vote him out. |
[quote author=manutdadex post=27598145]wtf is dis man Well its not ur fault jst thank ur star dat we re in a civilian dispensation. Una go jst dey abuse Gej as una like forgetting he is ur head. God bless Nigeria. God bless Gej and God bless whoeva bcomes our next presido!!
