Dazzlebee07: Hi everyone,
I created a 2nd Express Entry profile as my 1st was ineligible, and in the new profile, when they asked "Have you applied for Express Entry before", do I answer yes and entered the EE profile number of my previous ineligible profile or no. Your answer is No. You have not applied before. |

Rence22: Please, gurus kindly and strictly advise. I am thinking of opening a EE profile. Then be opened for Alberta option, its the province I intended to settle anyway. I teach in the Dept of Mas Com( mentioned because of in-demand profession and probability issues). IELTs result 8777 CRS- 455 and if I re-sit with the intent of maxing it- 467, but spouse ielts may even drop it. It's been 3 weeks now that WES notified me of verification sent to Unilag so I am envisaging that in the next two or three weeks my ECA would be ready. Spouse- Just made registration for GCE to be sent to WES. Transcript application would be requested from OOU on Wed so it's still a long journey and booking for IELTS for October ending. With all these CRS factors and CIC, I don't want to be left behind. So please what do you advise. Hi. You can create a profile if you have IELTS and ECA ready. You can always update it with spouse results when they are available. |

Gec8: My dear, I have registered and I am scheduled to write the exam later this year. I am not a Project Engineer. There are ways around all these things. Read well and work with exam simulations and you will pass. You just need to know the hours to put for the knowledge areas, then pay your exam fee.
I am in the same shoes as you. However, I have done my PM training which gives certain hours to key in the PMI website. My trainer also provided ways to fill in all the requisite info, hence scheduling my exam. I know folks that wrote and passed without being project managers for one day. Ask yourself what you want. For me, Ii want the PMP certification FIRSTLY. All other questions about actual experience can follow suit.
My two kobos sha. Goodluck Thank you. |

nomad26: I agree with what others have said, seriously consider going straight for the PMP. You don't have to have a PM title to meet the project management experience. To fulfill this, you need to have performed PM tasks that fall under the process groups (IN, PL, EX, MC & CL) From the bolded part below (how many years of experience do you have doing this?), I'd think you may have the required hours. You can download an application guide online to help you break down your hours or PM me for the one I used Thank you for the pointers. 6 years. |

salford1: And how is she going to get a job with just PMP but without the required experience, or am I missing something? since one of the requirement of pmp certification is to have atleast 3 years of work experience in PM. Yeah. At that level, employers would expect you to have actual PMP experience. |

Merovingian: Correction, you need 7500 hours of on-the-job experience managing projects to even register for pmp not to talk of pass the exam. I think the first responder already mentioned that hence the capm option Yeah or 4500 hours and 3 years experience if you have Bachelors or higher degree. |
Travel › Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by Adunnee: 4:12am On Jul 26, 2019 |
Gec8: You know you can devote time and read/prepare for PMP straight up yeah? I think it's better instead of doing CAPM then doing PMP afterwards.
I think with dedication, you can pass your PMP without necessarily having experience in projects. Please tell me more. How do I achieve that? I don't have the required PM experience. Though I've led teams within the last few years, to achieve job tasks. Can this qualify as PM experience? |

Gec8: Please, can someone shed light on this? Please and Please. Very Important Hi. Thanks for reposting. I did some research and I got some answers though. CAPM exam will be right for me since I don't have PM experience. CAPM is the entry level certification, more like a junior brother/sister of PMP. There are jobs and the skills are in demand. I'm currently checking the prevalent provinces. I can take the training in Nigeria (online/classroom) to cover for 23hours formal training in PM since I don't have 1500 hours of experience as a PM which is a critical requirement for CAPM exam. I can use it as a standalone profession or merge it with my current profession depending on the job requirement or the role I'm applying for. Both CAPM and PMP certifications are globally recognised. |

TITILOLA88: Good morning Ottawa has finally released us! Details coming soon
Two questions: can any other person (my husband) aside from the primary applicant submit our passports?
Our application was processed at Ottawa, can we raise CSE that our passports be submitted to a nearer visa office, say Ghana?
May God grant the desires of our hearts speedily in Jesus'name.
Shalom! Yaaaay!!! Congratulations to you and yours. |
