My wife transitioned to Nursing and presently work as an auxiliary nurse, had few three online certifications, IELTS and have also applied on Trac, indeed etc. multiple times but we haven't seen any positive results yet. Please, is it that the COS app is done differently or when asked if she has a permit to work in the UK, we often respond "NO," which seems to lead to the end of some of the application process while others get submitted and ends same way.

COS comes after u secure the job....not all employer have license to offer COS hence, the reason most pple get the NO answer a lot..and it is also the reason they ask if u are eligible to work in uk....this means they dont have licence or budget to sponsor

Healthcare jobs and care jobs are generally not easy to come by these days..that's because other nigerians and other nationals non uk residents are also competing for the same jobs that you reading overseas also want......

even those that went to school of nursing or have BSc, and also have standard many years experience in government hospitals do apply hundreds of times before hitting one....

U just have to keep trying....that's the trick unless u u want to go the street way which is very expensive and most time end in years and frustration....

Btw, make sure u applying for the right jobs...if ur wife ddnt go to school of nursing or have a bachelors degree, it will be a bit hard to get nursing roles in UK because they require special exams, license issued by the federal government of nigeria .
She might be lucky to get healthcare assistant or caregiver roles more quickly....but like i said keep trying...anything is possible
