Tons of space dust fall on earth every second increasing its mass. This constantly affects its rotational speed. Though the change are very negligible, over a long period of time, it varies. The moon's pull on earth's aquatic surface also affects the speed of rotation.

This has been reinforced by centuries of Christians being duped into supplying their psychic energy and souls to be channeled into perpetuating this lie, which in the end, will only benefit a select few.
