udemzy101: Hmmm... Keeps blinking? You just have to troubleshoot, it might be ram, processor... For how long have you been using it since u change to Intel board? And what's the model of the system you're using? it would be almost a year since I started using the new board...I bought it brand new from computer village but I couldnt afford a new processor so the engineer swapped my AMD processor with his spare i3....it has been working seamlessly till this blank screen thing. Its a hp pavilion dv6 laptop, 6g ram,500 gb harddrive..... |

udemzy101: I want to know if it's from the board, when u press the caplock does it show the white light sign? If yes then it's either from the screen or signal capable.. If no then it's from the motherboard...
Take it to your engineer when I put the laptop on,the wifi button shows the green light to indicate it is on,and the caps lock key keeps blinking...it goes on and off (caps lock light)...the engineer that repaired it the first time, says it is the processor when I called him but I need a second opinion |

hello Gurus in the house.I own an hp dv6 pavilion laptop, and I have being using it for quite a while now.A few months ago my amd mother board got fried and an engineer at computer village was able to change it to an Intel board with an i3 processor.Yesterday while I was doing some routine 3d designs on solid works as I work a lot with SW as a mechanical engineering student, my laptop screen just went blank. The Keyboard and and everything is else is running fine, but my screen won't come on.I did a hard reset multiple times, and even went to Google for some tips yet no solution seems to work.I removed the RAM cards and cleaned both of them including the slots and still the screen just stares at me like it just wants me to give up...Please I need your take before I go to computer village and keep investing in one engineers ministry |

Romance › Re: GOING THROUGH A DEVASTATING BREAK UP. Please Help Me Friends!! Am Dying Silently by adwaani(m): 6:20am On Jun 25, 2016 |
amaraedec: I have not spoken to anyone about my ordeal but I sincerely hope your advice will go a long way towards healing me and restoring back my sanity.
I started dating this lady whom I still love so much February 2013, few months before I lost my mummy. I was so cautious of the affair at first, knowing that it was the first time I am getting so emotionally entangled to a lady, but after I lost my mum, I was so hurt and the fact that she was the only person very close to me then, I threw caution to the wind and fell helplessly in love with her, hoping that it would help alleviate the pains of losing My mum and praying deep inside my heart that the relationship will lead to marriage. It did to a reasonable extent alleviated the pains of losing my mum.
Even while I was in school, I gave her everything that I somehow lived in deprivation. Her friends were complaining to me that I spend a lot on her and it might backfire one day. I ignored their advice. I buy her handouts, clothes, Mobile gadgets and even give her certain amount of money on monthly basis to add up to her feeding money, I made sure she lived above her peers in school .
The whole problem started late 2014, when I was about leaving for my NYSC. she started acting quite strange, I respected her privacy that I don't even touch her phones, even though I give her the freedom to handle my phones and answer my calls. I noticed she wouldn't pick up her calls while with me. Like I said, I respected her privacy that I never gave so much thoughts into her actions, I loved and gave her my all believing that she will never cheat on me. Then on her birthday, I had got lots of surprising gifts for her and even arranged a little get together without her knowledge. To my greatest surprise, she surfaced at the venue of the party with the excuse that she was going on an errand for her parents. I handed over to her the gifts I got for her, she collected them and left the venue. Little did I know she had gone to see her erstwhile lover. Depression had started creeping in and I was losing my sanity apparently.
To cut the whole story short, when her girlfriend opened up to me that my girl was having affairs elsewhere, I never believed her at first, but after I confronted her, then I was looking so sick and pale, completely lost in thoughts and pains. She eventually opened up and was really sorry to the best of my knowledge . I couldn't help the pains, I. Started taking anti depressants, I have already vowed never to cheat in my life, knowing that prosperity has a way of rewarding Fidelity.
After I was mobilized for NYSC, I left for my Camp, but the ghost of a failed relationship was already hunting me, I had lost interest in living. Shortly after I returned back from my Orientation camp, everyone knew something was wrong with me, I only told them that it was the stress from Camp. Well, I was battered emotionally, that on 31st December 2014, I hit the rock button and decided to end my life and end the pains, I took insecticides and collection of anti depressants in over dose and battery acid, I cheated on death as I was in Coma for 4 days, I was referred to a psychologist for rehabilitation after I was discharged on the 12th of January 2015. I spent 6 months in rehabilitation Center here in Lagos State, where I was also serving then.
After the whole incident, I made up my mind to forgive her and give her a second chance since she was really sorry. The whole scenario started replaying itself, that she started acting strange again, already my friend had told me that she was seeing someone else. My family knew I was slipping into depression again and had wanted to fly me out of the country, but I was denied Visa when I least expected it. I had to leave Enugu for Lagos so as to keep away from her and the environment. but she still calls me on phone, saying that she still loves me, I truly love her so much. Am totally lost of words, lost of ideas. Am terrified to say the least. Am losing my sanity again. Please friends, depression is getting better of me at the moment.. I need a sincere advise My guy from your post I can tell you are a very bright or sharp individual. you might not be so bright emotionally but I know you a brother who has something upstairs by just reading your post.I don't know your religious inclination, but i have found that in times where all logic and emotions fail you, your best bet is to seek your maker. It sounds to me the girl feels guilt not true love for you,and it would be in your best interest to try and forget her no matter how arduous it may be.I have also being in love before and it ended not so well, but I sincerely was never suicidal because I have utmost confidence in my abilities and future.stay strong bro,all things end and darkness is but for a while till the morning comes...God be with you brotherman |

MrFinbarr: Thanks for the compliment bro.
One thing I always tell my fellow guys, being loyal is a choice, decision. Sometimes, we guys sound like we are programmed that way. You should therefore examine yourself first and be sure if you can be loyal to her, you described her as a good girl. Since you are already close friends, I believe it can be really easy to sort this out. When next you talk about relationship issues, stylishly tell her how impossible it might be for you to be loyal to one girl. This will actually either make her readjust her stance or even become get more determined to get closer and a better guy out of you.
Bottom line: Don't date her if you can't be loyal to her. Good girls are really few in the world of today. Appreciate her when you get one. makes a lot of sense...would do just that boss |
Romance › Re: She Professed Her Love To Me by adwaani(m): 5:48am On Jun 19, 2016 |
MrFinbarr: Believe me bro, if you turn her down, you'll lose her friendship. Love can be found in crazy manners. It's true you may not have feelings for her as per dating, but you already see her as a sister which gives your relationship an edge for easy and full time survival if you give it a chance. She's been with you because she loves you, and if you let her down, she may as well hate you in return at the end, and believe me, if she finally happens to start dating someone else, you may end up regretting never being the one she's dating.
Sometimes loves doesn't come in full force, it takes time and attention over time to be built up and such love tends to last much longer.
You see her as a sister which is why you have doubt of a possible successful relationship with her, but from now on try change that mindset. See her as a young, nice and caring girl who deserves to be loved. See her as a potential life partner. See her as a girl who's bold enough to know what she wants and believes in it.
Remember, the best type of relationship is where your partner is your best friend which from your story is what you two are to each other. Decide wisely #My_opinion_though#
I wish you the best. my good sir,you have an overdose of intelligence.I am currently in a similar delima. The girl in question is an international student in my school and my junior coursemate.i took it upon myself to help her with the course also offering advice and past lecture materials to her.We became good friends but now she has started giving me the green light.always asking who I am dating, visiting always, buying me stuffs.I know she has a boyfriend in her country as I went through her phone once. She recently changed her number on whatsapp just to try and bait me into admitting I loved her by questioning me as a neutral party about who I want to date, and if I love her back. She is good looking, but she is a good gal and I am not a loyal guy and don't want to cheat or break from heart of someone so good....please your immense wisdom is what I seek |

yanabasee: Firstly, I never said... ALL muslims raped 7 female corps members... I never generalised that all muslims are evil or bad...
Secondly, if you say all criminals or miscreants in Enugu arr christians... I will say you're right... This is so because not all christians are good. We have have unrepentant christians. And you CAN'T say ALL MUSLIMS are good...
If I say muslims disguised as policemen and raped 7 female corps members, that logic you claimed to be professional on should have triggered your sense of reasoning to accept that I never said ALL muslims took part in the act...
Please, you muslims should accept that mostof you are wicked and bad and same way fulani herdsmen go about killing ppl for MOHAMMAD. And you guys should stop getting furious when islam is tagged over bad news.... You ppl have disowned BH publicly yet accept their acts secretly... Why is it that in the world... Wars are attributed to ISLAM yet you ppl claim to be the most Holiest here in Nigeria? like I said, I usually refrain from any sort of argument, especially religious ones.Tensions are bound to rise and nothing is gained but deepening grudges.I would have hoped for face to face dialogue but that would not be possible, I am also not a fan of typing long messages as I am sure your time is precious to you and you won't spend it reading my essay.Nevertheless like all humans on this earth you are entitled to your opinion on any matter.I invite you to with a open mind get a English copy of the holy quran so you may judge islam based on your findings not from your interactions with imperfect and frustrated group of people that call themselves muslims. That being said may I inform you that evil and killings is no respecter of religion. Adolf Hitler killed enough Jews to fill a whole country, napoleon bonnaparte started a world war, george bush invaded a country on false pretence, yet I would be foolish to say these men stand for the teachings of christianity.I am sure you are an intellectual as I can see from your comments, and I appreciate the fact that you have not veered into insults and name calling. This speaks very highly of you sir!!! once again my name is Adnan and I am not a terrorist........ |

Everyhere's dead casualties..... 7 female Corp members raped on Kaduna-Abuja highway by muslims who disguised as policemen...
Things are happening...
But it will never get to us and our family... We're covered and protected. I usually make it a point to ignore religiously inclined comments and post because at the end of the day there is no convincing an adult who has made up his mind to refuse logic. That being said,it is with utmost restraint that I quote your comment to point the fact that you could have said " criminals or even miscreants disguised as policemen raped corpers in kaduna" but you chose to say Muslims dressed as policemen raped corpers. You have equated islam to anything evil and uncultured. How would the corpers who were raped have even ascertained the faith of the criminals.Or is it because kaduna is a predominantly muslim state? will it be fair for me to assume every criminal or miscreant in say Enugu is a Christian or a good one at that. Please let's dissociate evil deeds by evil people from the religion they practice. Be it islam, christianity or African traditional religion. My name is Adnan,I am a proud muslim and I am not a terrorist |

mrphysics: Nice write up @ Teempakguy. Marie curie was a great woman. she died due to the large amount of radiation in her body. she kept working and today we all have benefited from her work.
just like someone mentioned, they are many Nigerian female scientists that should make that list. one that am very sure is Prof.F.N.Okeke a laureate. she won a prize in 2014 as one of the five world best female scientists, which her work on ionosphere got her. mayhaps the topic isn't general but anyone in atmospheric physics should know about the ionosphere and her works.
Also, in the area of bioenergy, Dr. Mrs Ezekoye is doing great, her research has been published in a high impact journals.
thanks anyway. proffessor F N okeke is truly a gem.Not to rain on your parade but she is not a nobel laureate if that's what the laureate in your post implies. But she did win the loreal unesco awards, not the same as the nobel laureate awards. It takes a special breed to win that award,we are talking scientists comparable to nils bohr, john nash, enrico Fermi and co |

It is your beauty that inspires me so.so as to take a pen and paint my parchment with words that may say how I feel.
the words form a beautiful harmony in my head but I cant seem to make them sing to you a song of love when on paper.
Yet against all odd alas I must write, for if I bottle these words, you might never hear how I feel .
It was most definitely the first day I set eyes on you.indeed I had to summon the bravery of a lion to approach, for your smile would have tamed even the fiercest of wills.
We built a friendship, and the beauty which I fell for became the third best thing about you. I stayed for that smile which never failed to give hope.
That voice which ever so often is full of encouragement. Those eyes in which I often stare endlessly into wondering about its perfection.
Truly, I could keep on painting with words till I get the perfect image, but the image so far should say it all........ ......... .. It says I LOVE YOU........ |
