Hi all. Afam you are right I need a site. And of course I am the webmaster and owner of webtechdesigners.com and I just concluded a site for Greater Tomorrow Initiative, an NGO in Enugu state. The site's forum for their members will soon be in place too.The site is to be integrated to a dBase site soon.

As to why I do not have my website on my signature, very simple, I removed it when I started receiving web project requests that I could not handle due to the volume and I also increased the prices of my services to scare away people. I am sure you will never get to a point in your lifetime where you can do the same.

No one is disputing Yaradua's authority to appoint who he pleases. There is nothing wrong appointing Okiro or even a police commisioner from Katsina or Zamfara if he so pleases.

I believe the president appointed someone he believes he can trust to work with.

OBJ appointed Victor Malu as the Chief of Army Staff even when he had a lot of seniors in the army so this is not unusual.

The key word here is appointment.

Maybe he should have queried OBJ why he did not fire Ehindero and appoint Onovo while OBJ was in power.

OBJ spent 8 years and no Igbo man was appointed IG yet Yar'adua has spent less than 2 weeks and we are being told that the Igbos have been excluded, wonderful.

NB; I do not believe that everything should be turned into an ethnic affair even though it is a fact that the Igbos have been excluded for such a post because of premature retirements which ultimately guarantee that none will be qualified to get into the position in the first place.

It seems that you have effectively left out the reason for the question to begin to chase shadows.

The issue here is time and if the only thing you have pointed out on the site is that the photo gallery does not have previous and next links on the full display and it has been clearly stated that the feature wouldn't take 3-5 minutes to implement and you are still hung on the question I asked then you are entirely on your own.

Can one develop from scratch a website in 3 days? The answer to the simple question is yes and I am sure I have done so on more than 20 or 25 occassions.

The issue is not a competition for web designers so you can take all the time in the world to look for flaws (according to you) even though I consider what you have pointed out to be features or functionalities that you may like and another person may not give a damn about.

The point has been clearly made as regards the possibility or otherwise of developing a website under 3 days and that was the crux of the matter here.

Here we go again. Yar'adua is picking people he believes he can work with and for the simple fact that he will either be blamed or praised for his failures or achievements respectively I believe that he should be given free hand to choose whoever he wants to choose for any post whatsoever.
