Why are mostly Yoruba guys on this forum bring Ojukwu and Biafra into this issue now?

When Igbos respond others will start complaining.

You guys should respect yourself and leave Ikemba alone as he did his part when circumstances demanded and the people he led and defended appreciate him and his efforts till tomorrow.

As dem talk before, Good Morning Nigeria!

With Respect this is all OBJ fault, he hand over to this Northererns who see power as their birthright and the lack of any meaningful political system and institution.

PDP rotational presidency arrangement is not part of Nigerian constitution.
How can this be OBJ's fault? Rotational presidency makes more sense in Nigeria considering the unending suspicion amongst most if not all the ethnic nationalities and geo political zones.

Concerning the Tribune report my comment is this

Tribune was the only newspaper that was had as its headline "Fresh plans to bring Yar'adua back" (not sure of the exact words but the same message) when other newspapers in the country were screaming with Yar'adua's return as headlines.

Goes to show that while others were busy collecting news Tribune was busy giving Nigerians the usual Nollywoodlike conspiracy theories.

Inverter Prices

1kva - N18,000

2kva - N25,000

3kva - N30,000

4kva - N35,000

If you are interested in any of this you can call me on 08027487449

N.B- Battery price is not included.

Thanks.
I am interested in getting the 3KVA and 4KVA inverters at the stated prices.

What are the DC voltages and can you offer up to 1 year warranty on these inverters?

If yes, I will buy plenty from you but be sure you will deliver on the warranty because I will chase you with everything I have if you don't because I work hard for my money and would not end up selling them as scraps as a lot of people do when nothing can be done to rectify any problems.

I would need to verify that but it is what WEST usually do in Africa.

If China will be a better paying partner, we are better off going EAST.

Those with human-right bla bla about China should spare me their jargons.
Still trying to lay my hands on reproducible facts as I was shocked but not surprised.

Do not forget that the country has about the 2nd largest deposits of uranium and you know how important uranium is to those hungry for nuclear power.

Unfortunately, we usually focus on what happens on the surface without asking the WHY.

Imeobong:
The US government has requested the Nigerian government to sack Maurice Iwu, the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to give room for credible elections where Nigerians can freely choose their leaders.

Johnnie Carson was responding to questions from Senator Russ Feingold (D) a ranking member of the US Senate and chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee sub-committee on Africa Affairs, at a hearing on Nigeria.
Who is the US government and what right do they have to make this stupid request?

If the last election in Anambra state gives us an idea of how to conduct elections then Iwu should remain and conduct better elections instead of getting someone that would give all manner of excuses if the next elections are not credible.

The US should first learn how not to lie to the whole world in order to invade sovereign nations before making such requests.

Many people have discussed the latest coup in Niger without paying attention to some of the salient points.

France and the US promised the president $400M every year for the oil discovered there to be used as strategic reserve. Yet, China came and offered $4B per year and already the money has been used in getting the people of Niger better health care, roads, electricity etc and we are usually comfortable reeling out the useless stats by the Western world like the average Nigerian lives on less than $1 a day.

You thought wrong. People respond and ask questions that are most important to them and in my case understanding the project requirement remains the most important issue here and not a contact info as you cannot conclude any transaction without making contact but you can make contact even when you don't understand the project requirement.

It is an unpardonably disingenuous and outright treacherous act for contributors to run around the forum with multiple handle names. I can satisfactorily declare that you are Kyuubi that gave me the link to 1960 constitution of Nigeria. I am grateful you gave me the link but pal you do not need to switch your forum handle names to make a point.
The issue of multiple usernames on this forum is rather shameful and can only be justified by people who lack confidence about their positions and would rather air an opinion using one username only yo log off and log on with another username to support the opinion.

Really sad.

What difference does it make? Biafra got whooped and they surrendered to 3rMRC once lead by a brave warrior Adekunle and later by another brave warrior Obasanjo.

It's still possible to make your points without the useless trash talk and insults. Freeking kids,
Makes a lot of difference. Every time your lies are exposed you come up with the useless question - "What difference does it make?"

Stop lying or if you cannot stop be bold enough to acknowledge them whenever they are exposed.

I stated several times that the 3rd marine commando lead by Colonel Olusegun Obasanjo whooped the Biafran rag tag rebels and insurgents. Ojukwo saw them and ran like smoked out of cave rat. Also that Biafra surrendered to Obasanjo.

I known you're  known to be a liar, but try dispute the above before spewing you made up Adekunle tales.
Who is debating OBJ here? Have you slept for the past few days? Stop imagining things and reason like a human being.

My comment about Adekunle was to correct the lie that someone told that Biafra surrendered to Adekunle, a lie that you yourself corrected again because it was OBJ that received the instrument of surrender.

How old are you? Your level of reasoning is really low and it has become more obvious since the thread wasn't about abusing tribes any longer so you seem lost and confused.

okooyinbo:
[sup][/sup]

Afam, Afam, Afam! What basic fact are you talking about? Who did they surrender to? Who influenced the 3MCO more? What I said is not about simple arithmetic. So your arguement has no base my dear. BTW, I did not say I make mistake. And please, I have never supported the Igbos or any person or groups being butchered. Not then, not now and not in the future. The topic of the discussion is: Ojukwu used starvation as a deliberate strategy during the civil war. Which I am convinced he did. The Ikemba had hoped to bring world attention to the crisis in Biafra by using the blockade. He also said when Enugu fell, he realized the war was no more to be won. He is alife. He said it all. When did Enugu fall into the hand of the FMG of Nigeria? When did Biafra surrender?
You stated that Biafra surrendered to Adekunle, a complete lie that I pointed out. Ask other before you it is better for you to admit your lie and move on than to try to put a spin on it otherwise you will end up self destructing here.

Stop spreading lies, simple.

Afam, please be polite. We are not age mate. Even if I make mistake, I dont have any grudge to be corrected, but stop the insult. We are here for discussion not insults.
If you cannot get such basic facts right then I implore you to visit the jokes section and leave topics where serious issues are discussed for those who have respect for facts.

What makes you think people should line up and be correcting your lies that you call mistakes?

Some of you want to just get into the discussion without knowing anything about the topic and that is the tragedy here.

If you state that 1 + 5 = 67 it is not a mistake it is because you do not know the answer, simple. Enough of this idea of claiming that avoidable blunders are mere mistakes especially when trying to blame the Igbos for being massacred by their own neighbors and hosts.

Afam, you probably got a big contract from obasanjo regime, most times you come across as a very reasonable and humane person, but when it comes to that monster, you do let me down.
Thank God you used the word probably.

No, I did not get a contract from his regime as I do not need one.

However, for the sake of argument if I was asked to do a project and the price was right without any kick back or contract inflation involved I will do so and this will not have anything to do with my views on anything. I maintain a very high level of integrity in both business and personal life.

OBJ sure made some mistakes but when compared to all other leaders I will rate him high any day.

I do not believe in blanket commendation or condemnation of anyone or group because doing so could mislead us. People should be blamed for their mistakes and praised for their good works.

If to say I be Yoruba person now some go say I dey support my tribe man, now wey Enugu far from Ogun na contract dem wan link am to.

I am an independent minded person.

I think there is an urgent need to include the Nigerian/Biafran war in our education system because it is sad to note that even the simplest of facts are unknown yet everyone seems to be in a hurry to trade blames and become experts on the civil war.

I wonder why any rational individual will ever put them into positive perspective, unless of course he or she is benefiting from the horrors of leadership in nigeria.
Using the same line of thought then we may assume that those who constantly say he is bad may have been affected by his anti corruption initiative so may have dealt a blow to them as scammers or fraudsters. Or, that those in England may be paid agents working for their host nation to say negative things about OBJ.

Who do we always try to attack people who have different views on issues? Everyone must not agree on everything.

I do remember stating that people die in war and blockade is an accepted war strategy and you're free to prove me wrong on that. In the last war between Hamas and Israel, Hamas was under blockade and still under blockade almost 2 years after the end of the war.

So what's your point really?

Stay with the facts and stop getting emotional again.
