The same way your Igbo brothers think that everyone who disagrees with them, is an Afonja or a Yoruba person, even though there are over 250 other ethnic groups in Nigeria. sad Don't forget - you are supposed to be objective. Aren't you a mod? huh
See who is talking about objectivity. if i were to peruse your posts on issues concerning Igbos, 100% of the time, you're opposing the Igbos. I guess that's objectivity in your books.

The same way Igbos call anyone against their cause Afonja is the same way Yorubas go off on Igbos anytime someone insults them, flatty. That my friend, is objectivity.

have you asked urself why the Niger Delta will prefer to stay and sufa in Nigeria than go with u Guys.

you guys see just urself, every other person is an animal to you... how on earth do u want others to love and cherish u wen we are not ur pet ?
Some of you are just looking for any reason to bash Igbos. You look for every stupid comment to reply to. Who even told you that the guy you quoted is Igbo? They know hjow some of your Niger delta react when Igbos make statements and they keep giving you what you want so that you will keep bashing Igbos. That's not to say that some Igbos are not stupid or miseducated but so are other Nigerians.

Nice topic.

Now here's the reason why a lot of Nigerian men complain of Nigerian ladies. Yes, a lot of Nigerian girls have lost their morals to the influence of the western world, so you would see ladies, who unlike our mothers are not patient and once they can't have their way in marriage, they will ask for a divorce. While we agree that these girls exist and are actually very many, there are also a lot of Nigerian girls that are humble and intelligent. it's just that the modern Nigerian man is not really attracted to these kind of girls. It's either because they don't look like Kim Kardashan or Beyonce or are not as modern as they would like. These ladies im talking about re actually pretty but they're not vain. They probably don't even have an instagram account but are educated. But our Naija brother want a slice of that slay queen and later they start complaining that their wives can't cook or havve bad character bla bla bla. If the kitchen is too hot pls get out.

Afaweva,

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I don't really want to see Nigerians o!! I want a Naija restaurant , anyone you can recommend? Biko .. am tired of your bread ; I wan swallow
There are no Nigerian restaurants as far as i know. The only one i used to know was in Vacoas and was owned by one Igbo/Liberian guy. But i think he closed down because the patronage wasn't much. Though, i've not really toured the nooks and crannies of Port Louis, you may never know. There may be a few Nigerian restaurants there.

Btw, is the break you're taking the one that is as strong as stone?

There are Nigerians in Port Louis but you need to look for them. If you really want to see Nigerians, they're in the Plaines Wilhems region. You'll find them in places like Vacaos, Quatre Borne and Beau Basin.

Sanchez01:
I believe it is enough and more than enough to consider the North as the country's greatest asset 'just because they produce most of what we eat'. The oil in The Delta does not benefit the people, save the government who sells it and keeps the money. Even in the face of resource control, another form of government would still be in charge and not the man whose land oozes with crude unending. Last I checked, I still buy fuel weekly and the money does not return to my pocket.

Let's be frank with one another, the oil in itself is only beneficial to a handful of Northern Elites and a couple of Igbo folks and Yoruba folks as well. Proceeds from agriculture is the reason the Obafemi Awolowo University is standing today and it is the reason the SW metamorphosed into a region of book lovers. My point is, agriculture might not be our primary cash cow, but it does not take away the fact that it plays a more vital role in Nigeria than oil in itself. Do we still export cash crops? Yes, we do, and while it is not what it used to be, we barely look towards that angle because we get it cheap.

Believe me, it would be MI:VII for Cameroon to primarily take up the responsibility of providing for Nigeria should the North say no today because we would put into consideration how much food it has for its people before thinking of others.

I'd upload the video and share the link tomorrow to see the effect of food shortage on a large scale. That the North is doing us a favour is an understatement.
You need to understand my perspective. Awolowo used agriculture (cocoa) to better his people because it was the main source of revenue for the western region. it was not because they were selling chocolate to all of us. On the contrary, even the north doesn't make so much from the agricultural proceeds and it does not even account to up to 10% of their IGR (Oil from ND does). The reason why you can't consider them an asset is that their agricultural prowess does not benefit the south just as much as the rice from indonesia cannot be said to be of benefit to us because we buy it with our hard earned money.
