It is undisputable that Tinubu will win the South West. Infact, not only will he win, he will beat other candidates by a huge margin... However, winning the election is not just about winning one geopolitical zone. |
He's just a placeholder in order for them to beat Inec deadline. As soon, as they get an authentic VP, he will vacate the position. |

I really don't understand the motivation of people who contest under these relatively obscure political parties. It's their an angle that I'm not aware of or do they really think they can win the presidential election under these parties, especially because they're not popular and they should know this. Shouldn't they? I can still understand Peter Obi and Labour party because he has gotten a surge in supporter ship in the last few months. Please someone should put me out of my misery and tell me why these people contest under these parties. |
I've always known Soludo to be smart and he's showing it. This should help in forestalling security challenges that people face with public transportation in Nigeria, If possible they should tie the biometric to the already existing NIN. This is good. |
The Nigerian league is the most competitive in the world. You could be a league winner this season and go on relegation the next season. Infact you you could be on top of the league table and go to the bottom after losing only 4 games. |
These roads look like they're someone in Texas. Akwa Ibom has left other states behind as far as look and feel is concerned. |
Itsrm:Did you just start following Nigerian politics? |
LagosNissan:Did you buy any chance use your account to buy or sell crrypto? |
I've been replaying this song since yesterday. No time to do anything else. |
I want to know the Nairaland mod that is a Ronaldo fan boy. |
pocohantas:That's a separate argument altogether. I'm not here to argue whether the man is not useless or whether him selling off the properties is right or wrong. The point here is that the property now belongs to him and whatever he chooses to do with it is his prerogative whether right or wrong. |
pocohantas:So, women should also not inherit properties from their husbands just because it was inherited from the husband's side of the family? |
CHoccolaTE:A man's property belongs to his wife and vice-versa. Will or no will. |
The OP knows that he does not legally have the right to claim his mom's property while his father, her wife is alive. So, what he did was to throw us off by telling us that the man is useless and wants to sell off the property. Even if he's the most useless man in the world, the properties still belong to him and he can do with them as he so chooses. This kind of behavior is what drives some children to kill their parents. |
CHoccolaTE:Would you also call women who inherit their husband's property useless? |
pocohantas:it only seems deep because it's a man that is suppose to inherit his wife's property. If it was reversed now, people won't waste time to say that it's now the wife's property. I actually like this particular thread just because it exposes the hypocrisy of most people. |
There's no need to remind anyone about what has been going on in the polity as the election gets closer by the day. A lot of aspirants in APC and PDP have made their intentions known about clinching the much coveted tickets of their parties. Some pf the aspirant are the likes of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Osinbanji, Peter Obi, Atiku, Amaechi, Wike and a couple of other people. But I'm very interested in who takes the APC ticket and I'm sure people are keen to know who between Tinubu and osinbanjo will get it because of the history that these two men have together. It's one thing to be a master strategist like Tinubu and it's another thing to have the money to strategize. Tinubu has both and we can alrready see the miracle that he's working underground in the way some prominent Nigerians are lining up behind him. Just today, the Olu of Warri made it clear to whoever wants to listen that Tinubu is the most qualified person to preside over the affairs of the country. This is shocking because traditional rulers always try to be apolitical as much as possible. For instance, I'm not sure I've ever heard the Ooni of Ife, Oba of Benin or the Emir of Kano take sides that the Olu of Warri has done. It just means one thing; that a lot of water has passed under the bridge. As for Osinbanjo, he doesn't have the political strategy, the money or the political connections of Tinubu and he comes across as someone that doesn't want to ruffle feathers especially not that of his principle, Bola Ahmed Tinubu who he served as Attorney General of Lagos and who many people say made him vice president. So, for him to boldly come out to declare for president, it means someone very powerful is pushing him and that person may just be the incumbent, Muhammadu Buhari. That's why I fear for Tinubu's ambition because despite having in edge over Osinbanjo, if truly Buhari is standing by Osinbanjo, then I think the ticket is as good as Osinbanjo's. But let's see what the next few months will bring.

sanctity454:This is actually something government should be building in every nook and cranny. In Mauritius, almost every 4 streets has a standard pitch with flood lights. I enjoyed playing football when i was in that country. The Imo state government and as well as other SE governors should build this mini pitch everywhere in order to arrest youth restiveness. |
There's a pattern where an Igbo person is appointed as a cleaner in a government parastatal and it makes news. I don't get. |
Afam4eva:Nigeria would have won this game if we had started with the team that played in Ghana. |
I don't think Emmanuel Dennis and Lookman should have started this game because they don't have the hunger that the likes of Iheanacho and Chukwueze have because they're kinda new to the team. Especially Lookman. |
OKOATA:So, why's the richest man in the world not from China or India? Abeg, give America their flowers. Dem try. |
dawnomike:Dem stingy die. They should better look for an Arab person to buy the club. |
mrvitalis:It just shows you that when it comes to cooking = Calabar > Igbo > Others. Na play i dey oo. na Igbo cook pass ![]() |
I'm not a fan of Hope Uzodimma but I want to know from people in Owerri, is he actually doing fine especially as it relates to road construction because some roads that i'm seeing from Owerri recently look good. |
mikeapollo:I get your point as it relates to goals and assists but who would you say was a better footballer between Christiano Ronaldo and Ronaldinho? We know Ronaldinho is a much more talented footballer but Ronaldo just has more stats. |
Joezinho:Etoo actually had the stats that Okocha did not have. Yes, Okocha is a better footballer but it did not yield as much results as the other guys that were scoring goals and giving assists. |
ivolt:Nigeria is mostly a slum, so I don't understand what you mean by NIgerian slum. Isn't that like the default? |
I don't get why Nigerians do this everytime. They post a shitty place in a supposed developed country in order to prove that all countries have bad areas without realizing that this kind of place is the norm in Nigeria. It is where majority of Nigerians live. |
The way people are just hyping Madrid and under-estimating PSG is just laughable to me. |
APGA is a very lazy party. I had high expectations for them, hoping that in due time they will capture the entire south east but they've become almost irrelevant in most states except Anambra where they've finally settled with. |
