MackyNaija: 1. Is the 9 credit hours for the entire masters program or just for this session because i've seen people with credit hours.
* 9hours this semester but 27k should see someone thru a full year without funding or on campus job.
2. Also, do you know if it's possible to pay credit hour by credit hour instead of the whole fee. I don't know exactly how it works.
* I know they do 3 units = a certain amount, btw 3 - 6 units and 9 and above BUT to remain in status visa-wise, one has to offer at least 9units for this my fall and 9 for spring. If I get any new info or knowledge, I'll notify the house.
3. And how close is it to Houston, Texas because i have places to stay in Houston should i decide to attend your school. I know how huge Texas is though.
* I hear it's 3.5hrs for private vehicles and I did 5.5hrs by Greyhound.
4. Also did you pay half or all of your tuition before you were given an I-20.
* I didn't and still haven't paid anything, already got my student I.D.
5. Is TOEFL or IELTS mandatory for a Nigerian student who is proficient in English already?
* They mailed that toefl was compulsory, they used my GRE verbal score tho. Them suppose fit waive am, abeg Nigeria speaks English. Thanks Bro. Finally, can GRE be used in lieu of GMAT. How many exams did they request from you. |

MackyNaija: Estimated total Annual cost is ~$27k for international Graduate students. I will be doing 3 courses/9 credit hours and staying at an off campus accommodation.
Here's a link for the full breakdown. http://www.tamuk.edu/finaid/Cost_of_Attendance/
I got issued a Total 'Amount Due' of ~$7,200 for this semester... This is what I owe the school for ALL fees. This figure will be corrected after they apply my tuition waiver.

Fyno: Now that protests are needed, where is the west, the self acclaimed most educated tribe? I was about to ask the same thing. Obviously the whole occupy Nigeria shenanigan that they exhibited during Jonathan's regime was just to seize power. Now that they are part and parcel fo the rot that has enveloped the polity, we all can go to hell as far as they're concerned. They're no more talking about restructuring even though that used to be one of their major mantra. Nigeria is indeed in trouble. |

Sanchez01: No it isn't a joke. To you oil plays a more pivotal role to our nation building just because it oozes from the ground 'for free'?
A friend who works with the Associated Press sent me a rare footage of the civil war just yesterday. A 16 minutes video which I'm planning to share tomorrow and I realised that the Igbos were beaten to submission because FOOD supply was cut off. Interestingly, people had their monies with them but couldn't buy a thing because food wasn't in circulation.
Long before the discovery of oil in Nigeria, the country relied on the SW's cocoa, the Mid-West's rubber and palm oil, just as the Old Eastern region, and most importantly, the agricultural produce from the North. The Late Nnamdi Azikiwe wooed them to no end and insisted the country needs the North desperately. Was he wrong? Hell no!
My people took great pride in farming before the discovery of oil in Delta. We lost so many lands because oils would flow out from the soil when tilled. My own family lost a whole lot of oil palm lands to crude flow.
The truth is Nigeria fared during the golden agricultural days, and that Nigeria is what it is today is because of oil. Not a single oil producing country in the world today operate a mono economy because everyone understands that agriculture is the major way out.
So what if the FG return the golden goose eggs but food is unavailable? Would we drink the oil? Indeed, yes, the oil somehow serves the country, but does it really serve you and I? Oil is not a necessity, not in the least of ways. I'm not in any way downplaying the importance of Agriculture. I'm only concerned that you think just because the north produce most of what we eat, that they are some our greatest asset without baring the fact that agriculture adds very little or nothing to our income as a country. The Agriculture in the north is mostly beneficial to the people who own those products and are selling it to us. Getting people to sell agricultural products has never been a problem. The day the north stops providing it, cameroon or any other country that wants to make money will do so. It's all for profit. Nothing in the south has been built as a result of the agricultural strides of the north. It has only benefited them. Until Agriculture is included in the exclusive list, i don't think anyone should be going about talking as if the north is doing us a favour. If there's anything that can thump the oil been provided by the Niger Delta it is the human capital that the south as a whole possess. |

That is why we take the time to educate you lot before you enter your second past time, incessant whining over self-inflicted pain. The only people that seem to be self destructing are people of your faith who are blowing themselves apart because of virgins. That's what you need to worry your head about. |

Sanchez01: Funny. Ofada is legendary. It is the most luxurious, locally grown rice in Nigeria.
Ebonyi is just about the only state in the South East that takes farming to heart. The state is just about the only one in the East that TRULY produces rice in commercial quantity.
Obiano, Anambra and the media have all lied in the past and won't stop doing so. Propaganda and lies would lead you a little but the stark realities would hit in the end.
We should respect the North, really, as they are clearly responsible for feeding the country. As bad as we think they are, they play the most important, though silent, role in our nation building. This is the beauty in our diversity. Is this really a joke or what? if anybody needs praising it's the Niger Delta that provided over 90% of the nation's income and not the north that produces agricultural product that adds little or nothing to our income. We buy these food items that the north produces, t's not like they give it to us for free. |

I keep telling people that whatever you do, be the best at it or be good at least. If you must lie then carry out a due diligence in order not to be caught on your face.
If i were the man, the marriage will end because people who use the misfortune of their loved ones to like are very dangerous and are on the path of psychosis. That's how one boy lied in school that his mother died. It as after the boy almost made me not to graduate from school by stealing my thesis that i truly knew how bleeped up he was. |

They are parasite...let's get rid of them.....it's only aan idiot that doesn't want to get rid of parasite....don't you think so If the North says they want to secede from Nigeria, you will see celebrations throughout southern Nigeria. But when the Igbos say the same, people are angry. That makes me think that they really need the Igbos. |

@tundeayo2020 I'll rule out the supposed dream you had. Don't swell on it because it will prevent you from getting real solution.
My and you are kinda in the same boat, so i think i have some experience in this area as i have done my research using the symptoms that i've had. While i would recommend you to go to an hospital, i'm afraid that our medical system is in comatose and if you don't have malaria or thyphoid you're in trouble. Even teaching hospitals that are supposed to be of help will waste your time unnecessarily. So, only you can help yourself. Do you your research and any thing you come up with, you can take it to the doctor, so that he will tell you what tests to undergo.
I think it's imperative for you to list all your symptoms, so that i can also help you out.
Do you have any of these symptoms?
Memory problems Body weakness sleep problems Depression/Anxiety Brain fog balance problem when walking sensitivity to light Meanwhile, i think you should check for the following:
1. Cancer (just like people have suggested.) 2. Auto Immune disease 3. Thyroid 4. Depression/Anxiety 5. Nervous system
Like i said, i will need a comprehensive list of your symptoms to be able to to narrow it down for you. |

For me i think it's caused by a combination of lack of fesh air, the smell of fuel and it gets worse when the ride is bumpy. |
