We dont write codes like this again this days, when you are talking of MVC, please go to cakephp, laravel and you wont even have to write something like session_start() ever again. This whole code is procedural pattern, this is 2020, we write in OOP these days. Just take a glance at this - https://laravel.com/docs/7.x/session - to give you an idea of what a little bit of OOP looks like, and what a self-respecting MVC system should be able to do. |
This is a duplicate thread to - https://www.nairaland.com/5796210/34-new-coronavirus-cases-nigeria#88491981 Moderator, please help us deal with these duplicate CIVIKK threads, make people no go get multiple hypertension. |
I dont really think the cases are increasing, i think they are just discovering the truth that has been there. Just like now, let us say that we currently have for example 1,000 HIV positive people. And we now go and start testing people and discovered that we actually have 10,000. It does not mean that e just increase from 1000 to 10000 overnight now? |
Waalahi! |

majamajic:It was hiding behind the generator. But the generator house was dark due to smoke and the snake was green, and it was afternoon - so it was standing out very clearly. jantofubu:I cornered and killed the idiot lala jare, see how I scatter am sef. |
Just about 2 hours ago, I decided to burn the refuse in my compound and went to look for fuel. As I passed my generator house, I just opened the door and saw a flash of green, I immediately closed it back, and went to look for a good neighbour, and we cornered the idiot.

we don too shout for this section, but no way. Seun is very blind to this section, no need to wail again. |
Na wa o, this is just too bad. |
walahi |
I believe from what I hear that those laid off are junior developers. And the speculations online point to the fact that it is SENIOR DEVELOPERS that the market really wants. Which now leads to further arguments of WHAT/WHO IZ A SENIOR DEVELOPER? e.t.c And people are even asking that what is now the fate of those people laid off? |
No, it is not AWILO LOGONBA! For all those rushing to this thread like HEADLESS CHICKENS. |
Peace people, abeg make una no fight o. I accept that I am village champion - end of story. |
hackman90:By saying that, this assumes that you know ALL the programmers that have come out of nairaland? On this point, I do not agree with you. Yes he is great, but as for being the greatest to come out from Nairaland - I will NEVER agree to this. But again, I will not mention names. But for the sake of peace, let everyone chose what they want to believe. According to your own information, he is the greatest. According to my own information, he is not the greatest. No matter what I tell you, you wont accept my own opinion. And no matter what you tell me, I wont accept your own opinion. So let us bury it at that, so that we dont start our XENOPHOBIA CRAZE for here. I MADDD gan o, in case you are not aware ---- go and ask Seun, he will tell you. |
hackman90:I know him quite well, and even when he was a "village boy", I still found him very impressive and I am not surprised at all that he is making waves. It is not easy to be young and highly skilled too. Some of these other people I am saying are not unknowns mind you, just that some of you may not know they started from nairaland as NOOBS. But let us drop it, I am not comparing Elvis to anyone, I am just saying that many stars have risen from Nairaland. I am done talking too. |
He is not the only global programmer that have come out of Nairaland. I have a long list of that one, but I dont like publishing stuffs without the permission of the people involved. Because I am in touch with many legends of Nairaland from when i first joined till now. And Elvis is my good friend too (on and off nairaland), I still remember a prank I played with one of his scripts back then that STRESSED seun seriously (I miss those dayz, now, na to dey write code to keep roof over my head, no time for pranks and trollin' anymore - pretty boring). - my former monicker used to be DHTML (just in case you are wondering) And no, I am a village boy programmer still (cough cough), well, you know how it is. |
