I believe it only when one is claiming points for employment they tend to verify the employment(s) right?

Wow! Quite interesting. Congratulations. I have read quite a lot about people getting Natural Justice Letter lately and the culprit is usually employment verification.

One needs to ensure HR is on the same page with the details you provide in your application!

Morning of July 6, 2018 as I was preparing for work, hubby suddenly screamed "granted". I was startled, then he showed me the golden email.

No, I went to a different university. If your school doesn't give a student copy, then you may have no choice but to send via post.

You may also try to send to a company address if they would accept that.

flyca:
Please did you get yours from UNN? Can they send to a private address?
TravelRe: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by afosahid: 9:10am On Jul 08, 2018
All you have to do is upload. They rarely insist on hardcopy unless they suspect foul play with the one you uploaded

flyca:
Thanks for replying. They did not provide any physical address, one and two is that you cannot proceed to the next webpage without uploading your transcript. My school does not give ecopy of transcript - UNN.
TravelRe: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by afosahid: 9:06am On Jul 08, 2018
Just scan and upload. They hardly ever request for hardcopy unless they suspect foul play with the one you have unloaded.

TravelRe: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by afosahid: 9:01am On Jul 08, 2018
There is a section for you to upload scanned copy of your Transcript. This is what I did and it was accepted. I was not requested to send via email or even hardcopy

olumuyiwaoke:
send the hard copy.... dont bother scanning....it will delay your assessment process because you would be asked to send either via mail or courier....but your school should be able to send via e-mail.....

For NYSC, if you dont provide the requested tax certificate or the other docs as requested, they will not recognize that period of employment. Same thing happened to me. The risk here is minimal as this is just one year. So even if deducted, you will not be dropping any points based on the 10 points you are eligible for from 7 years work experience claimed.

For the remaining 6 years, did you submit payslips and bank statements? Was there any tax or pension deductions shown on your payslip? if yes, were these monies remitted to the right agencies of government?

If no, you can write a cover letter explaining your circumstance as to why you are unable to provide the requested tax or pension documents.

PM me for further details

Hello house,

I got this feedback from EA for my experience assessment:

1, For NYSC, please provide:
1 - Social security for this period of employment.
2 - Electronic Tax Clearance Certificate Card for the whole period of employment.
Otherwise, this period of employment will not be recognized.

2, For upto 6 years job experience:
Please provide Electronic Tax Clearance Certificate Card for the whole period of employment at ......

Please note - Am not working in Lagos State.

Please, i need advice on how to respond to it.

GRANT! GRANT! GRANT! So I finally met the light at the end of this PR tunnel.

I am very grateful to the originators and active contributors of this very resourceful thread...the great wealth of information here has been invaluable.

BSc. Mechatronics.

12/06/16 EA Positive Outcome...Was Offered Professional Engineer NEC but i rejected it and Opted to submit another CDR based application for mechanical engineering. They finally gave me Technologist.

After 9 IELTS and 5 PTE tests, i finally got 20pts for English with one PTE result in Oct 2017.

20/10/2017 EOI 70pts...Did not originally plan to claim my 3 years experience because of cash payment mode and company currently is out of business. I thought it would be too hard to provide supporting document. When the whole skillselect drama with high points started, I had to get tax documents, payslips, employment contract and reference letter to support my claims.

09/11/2017 ITA
17/11/2017 Application Lodged
12/02/2018 CO Contact to upload transcripts, submit PTE result online, form 80 and AFP check.

Yes oo. My CDR came with some comments and they requested for tax or pension documents on Wednesday 28th March. I addressed all comments and resubmitted on Saturday, Monday was a public holiday (Easter). They resumed on Tuesday and I got my outcome on Tuesday.

So once your CDR is assigned to a case officer, how quickly you get an outcome depends on how fast you respond to any comments they may have.

Did you do Relevant Skilled Employment Assessment too?

BADNEAT:
working days...congrats..i submitted on 18th march...i still de wait...so it took less than a week after being assigned for the outcome?

23 working days or 23 days in total? Mine took 28 working days in total for fast track. I submitted on 21st of Feb and got a positive outcome on the 3rd of April.

It takes about 26 working days before an assessor is assigned to your CDR.

I experienced exactly the same thing. I applied for fast track on 21st Feb and a case officer was not assigned until 28th March. Average time before your CDR gets assigned now is 26 working days for fast track. However, once they start your review, they will give you an outcome quickly as long as you provide whatever additional documents they require as soon as they request it. All the best!

kooledge:
My people good evening. I really need to hear from some of us here that have recently done EA assessment. I applied for fast track assessment on February 27 o and up till now I have not been assigned. Have called them twice and they kept telling me they are clearing Christmas backlog. TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by afosahid: 1:15pm On Apr 06, 2018
It was a personal decision. I chose to do Relevant Skilled Employment Assessment with EA because I believe it will reduce the amount of verification that Home Affairs will have to do as there is obviously a high level of confidence in the assessment outcomes given by the assessment bodies.

I personally believe that one leaves themselves open to more scrutiny and possibly delay with the Visa grant process if you leave it entirely to HA to verify your experience.

I could be wrong though cc @bellong @alphadoor @azy123 @mamajazz @spyroxy @tuteso could you please shed more light on the issue of having your work experience verified by your assessing body or leaving the verification process entirely to Home Affairs.

Cecegal:
Congrats,
Any particular reason you assessed your work experience with EA?It's been discussed here over and over again that it's not necessary as DIBP would still do their checks just curious because we didn't assess ours

Short Timeline Alert grin grin grin

I have barely made posts on this thread, but I have been following proceedings religiously!

Made a conscious decision to start the Australian PR process 20th November 2017 after much convincing by my brother @spyroxy1.

PTE 16 Jan 2018: SWLR 90,90,90,90 (Ist attempt)
EA positive Assessment: 3rd April 2018
Updated EOI: 3rd April 2018
ITA: 3rd April 2018

Points breakdown:

Age - 30 points
Qualifications - 15 points
Experience - 10 points (should have been 20 but EA removed 1 year from my work experience)
English - 20 points

Now I couldn't have achieved this without the support and encouragement from my brothers & sister @spyroxy1 @olalekankad @Alphadoor @Azy123 @Tuteso @frankdoch @MamaJazz. I'm deeply thankful to you all and I pray God crowns all our efforts in this journey.

Oga @bellong you started this excellent movement. God bless you abundantly!

TravelRe: Living In Australia/life As An Australian Immigrant by afosahid: 12:59pm On Mar 14, 2018
Very true words... EA assessment now takes 22 working days even for fast track. I submitted my application on 21st Feb and my profile on the EA Portal still shows "Queued for Assessment". Put a call through to EA, and they informed that assessment now takes 22 working days for fast track. So i'm still waiting.

Victoria has now made registration mandatory for all engineers operating within the state. Immigration numbers will most likely be cut down in the next financial year, but i honestly hope it doesn't come down to 110k from 190k as proposed by Tony Abbot.

Moral of the story.... Do everything possible to ensure your applications are lodged before the end of 2017/2018 financial year as immigration cuts are imminent!

For those going through PR route, especially engineers that need EA assessment, note that the processing times have now gotten ridiculously long. The visa processing time as well with the DIBP has gotten long as well. And the Australian govt is starting to show some anti immigrant sentiment in order to pander to the far right (I am sure I am not the only one here that feels disgust every time I see Peter Dutton's face). The skills list is going to get reviewed again by the end of this financial year. Do all you possibly can to lodge your application before 30 June, or selse, your job may even be taken off this list (chemical and mechanical engineering seem to be at risk of this happening)....move fast.[/quote]
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by afosahid: 11:29am On Mar 06, 2018
Please confirm exact amount he paid. Here is my guess; he paid AUD 765 for CDR and AUD 295 for fast track. Total amount paid is AUD 1060.
This means he only paid for CDR and fast track WITHOUT Relevant Skilled Employment Assessment (AUD 320).

If I guessed right, then he has 2 options. Proceed to have his experience verified by DIBP when he gets to the visa application stage or he applies for Skilled Employment Assessment with EA and pay the relevant fees.

mumzt:
Thank you for your response. He applied for both qualifications and experience. But we'll just allow dip do their thing. All his work experiences have proofs and can be verified. He submitted all this with his assessment though.
