I feared being rejected by a future mother-in-law before I got into a relationship. When my fiance decided to take me to his mum, I was scared at first. I asked him what will happen if his mum doesn't like me, his response made me know he is a man and not a boy. He told me emphatically that it is his duty to decide whom he wanna marry, the duty of his mum is to advise him, not dictate, and dat was it. I met the mum and at frst, she was cold but later on , she welcomed me with her two arms. Now, I am like an egg to her because she could see it that her son loves me so much and I mean so much to him, hence, if she truly wants her son to be happy, she must treat me well cos I am her son's happiness. So,poster, wat did u tell ur mum about this girls , ow did umake her feel abt the girls, is it like, mum, I met someone whom I think I can marry or mum, av found someone I wanna spend the rest of my life with. Let her know uve decided and concluded in ur heart that ur fiancee is the one that holds the key to ur heart. possibly, u make her feel, if u don't like dis one, I can get another one, let her know dia is no other one except this one Wish u luck |

I dont think properties on nairaland are expensive, I KNOW they are expensive. The agents are so so greedy that they want to collect even more than the landlord, when a friend of mine told me she was looking for an accommodation and I suggested she checked on nairaland, her response was, nairawhat, those greedy agents and she started mentiong some of the agents that she met via nairaland, they are not only greedy, they are selfish. An agent was called on sunday for an accommodation in Egbeda, he said the rent is 200K per year and landlord wants 1 year payment but we will have to pay #40K for agency fee, #40K for agreement and #30k for damages (wic he claimed is refundable), my fiance , out of anger hunged the phone on the guy, it is really dat bad.I wonder if it is not possible to actually meet with landlords again and negotiate rather than thru this greedy middlemen |
anyone interested? |
If he wants to know, then tell him, as long as u guys are still in the relationship, tell him everything he nees to know, or u get something u dey hide, lol seriously now, if I were u, I will tell him every little thing that it will get to a time, he will be d one dat will say, is it everything u wan dey tell me, bore him with d stories, like in the morning , I went to my friends place, i first stopped at my oda friends place, I used the loo, I changed my make-up, I greeted someone, the person did not respond, I talked to the person again, blablabla, let him get bored, make sure say na him dey call o |

is the father-in-law paying him for doing nothing or paying him for the service(due to his level of education and expereince) he will be rendering. Some people pretend alot, is it until the wife begin to go to her parent to beg for food or money that he will realise it is not good for a man to be jobless, let him take the job and ensure he performs his duties to his best |
I think they have dia office in jos and due to d probs in Jos, maybe dey are kinda affected |

probably he was joking, really, I cant remember everything av bought for my guy or even iven me, neither can he, I cant even remember everything he has bought for me or given me in cash, so I guess he was only joking. Anyway, if my man ask me such things, (which I trust my man that he can never), I will simply assume he is joking and doesn't mean any harm, and will bring out a pen and paper and start writing how much he means to me |
tonene:You are welcome, meanwhile, am a lady, not a guy |
lol, all na palaza, mirage |
Yes, trust is an issue but I know its a good business. To gain trust, make sure uniformed officials are aware and also u can get a tracking device on the car. Am not talking about the normal danfo transport, am referring to this corporate hire purchase, u buy neat tokunbo salon cars that they can be using as coporate taxis. Also, I will advice udont put all ur eggs in one basket oo |
are u kidding, pay for trolleys at airport, dis is so baddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd |
Why don't u go into car hiring, u give cars to people and they pay u over a period of time, I believe the best business to do in this country is transport business or food business |
I feel u guy, I have come to notice that MOST churches are now business centres, Take for instance, I left my very big church in shomolu becos most of the time what they talk about is money for this, money for that, the only time u can actually hear any good sermon in the church is when the pastor's wife is the one preaching and that doesn't happen most times, maybe, once in 3 months. So, I moved to a smaller church. Alas, dis one is even worse, to pay tithe, they will tell tithers to go to d back of the church and dance forward, and then, pastor will begin to shower prayers on them, isn't giving supposed to be a secret between u and ur God Just december, my fiance followed me to my church, and they were announcing the children carol, to my greates surprise, Pastor announced that the children will have to buy a cap for #250 to enable them participate in the children carol, and we, the adults in the church were given small papers that contains some denominations to assist in the carol party, my fiance was so annoyed that, what if their is a mother who doesnt have money for her children, does that mean the child is automatically disqualified. Also, what will they use the money that the adults are contributing for? But the only difference I see is that am not losing my faith in christianity, cos christianity to me i a way of life, it has nothing to do with church, my only clause is, am losing faith in the churches and pastors that are suppose to guide us. Anyway, we all have our bibles which is the main guide. |
tobidaflava:Can't u read between lines, the guy was specific, a blackberry phone and also said NOT MORE THAN 25K, why propose something totally different from what he wants |
So u expect us to first spend our money calling to make enquiries on prices when u can actually post them here, na wha for Nigerians, every thing na secret, even the cloth they wear they want to make it secret. |
