I need sincere advice pls.
My fiance and I are planning t get married soon, hence, we need to get a new accommodation. We both work in surulere and so thot it wise to get an apartment that will be close to surulere, but the prob is the house rent fee, they are just too killing. He has a nearly completed building in ikorodu, agric side that we can actually complete with less than #300,000, and so he is saying we shud complete that one and move in, but am actually thinking of the stress of coming to work everyday with him driving from ikorodu to surulere, daily and me going back home alone in the evening every day cos I cant be waiting for him to leave office , he close late, wat shud we do

A friend of mine is also having a similar problem now. @all, it is really true that some tenants are bad and refuses to pay dia rent when the paid ones expires, but come to think of it, because a particular person got drown in a river, does it mean other people will not go dia to fetch water, becos a particular tenant behaved irrationally, does that mean landlords will have to make other people suffer,
The economy is bad, the government is actually sleeping or turning deaf ears to the cry of the citizens, can't we the citizens help one another. I know areas in Ikorodu that will allow a year option but does it make sense. I work in surulere, coming to surulere from ikorodu, monday to friday, will be so hectic. I know it is even to our own advantage if we can pay for rent in advance, afterall, after paying for 2 years, it is not [ossible for the landlord to come back after a year and tell us that he wants to increase his fare, but what when the cash is not available, can't the landlords consider that.
The worst part is, most of dis aganets that ask for hue amount actually resides in some rickety houses and cant pay such an amount just like most bus conductors cant pay bus fares but always hang on buses when they want to go out.

A man who can actually do this to his daughter, I wonder what he will do to his wife's siblings or ladies outside, this is really insane, and don't be surprised, when the dad is asked, he will either say it is a lie or say it is devil's work.
