Guy the only reason Obasanjo made Jonathan President is so he can die in peace,Jona is a stooge,we don't want a puppet as a president,it only benefits them and their cronies-mumu are you benefitting from Jona's presidency.

Jona is just trying to stay alive, his mind is too small and weak to be a leader-all is life he has been licking ass to win positions.

security votes is for security in his jurisdiction not to use to buy properties-its because Nigerians do not ask for their rights.

Any line of defence against those animals is brilliant.

Islam and Christianity are middle eastern religions. You may not know that Nazareth the home of Jesus and where Jesus lived, is 70% Muslim even today as we speak.
you are a fool, you are still talking geography, but am talking culture of the Arabs-Nazareth is a place where majority are Chrstians,i never argued that there are no Christians in the middle east- there are hundreds of towns and scores of countries in the middle east-Most are now occupied by Muslims cos of the violent nature of the Arabs, invading areas and forcing people to accept their religion.

If you read early history, even before Islam, the Persians who are present day Iranians have occupied the middle east wielding control, hence when Mohammed started his Islamic following, living around Medina,he absorbed most of the Arabic cultures he learnt as a kid into it,the Arabs seeing an opportunity took a hold of it and started using it as a tool of indoctrination cos they know that religion is the easiest means of control for power and wealth.

Culture is where you come from, religion is something that you learn't from your parents or what you imbibe via influences- so blind idiot don't forget you are an African while you follow your religion cos these Arabs are using you lot,to them all Muslims are under them, colonized under their power.

Change ? It Starts from me and you, revolution ? It will only shed more blood,as you can see from the current situation of things, enough blood has already been shed so should we shed more blood ?

Talk about corruption, everyone is corrupt. Until we ammend our ways, the country will continue enjoying corruption.

The only lies here are what you have been fed with, the solution to Nigeria's current challenges is unity. If we are united as a nation then we would naturally overcome our problems, until we stop pointing accusing fingers and start from one another by putting behind all manners of discrimination and ethnic bigotry,we would still enjoy the inept government.
The revolution will start from the mind set,our values must change,we must love our heritage our Nation.

When we talk of revolution, its not war-revolution is simply resistance-what Martin Luther King and Malcolm x did is a perfect example,Mandela also galvanized and mobilised his people to resist being zombies,to think and begin to understand the people's power.

Revolution is a people's coalition movement that will make demands and ensure our elected public servants don't turn to masters cos they are working for us...that is why in American when the police shot one citizen, the coalition of the people stood up nd resisted and the President apologised to the people and due action taken on the officer.

The Nigerian people don't know their power, begining to understand our power as a people is the first step to change...to the revolution.

Activist and NGO's sponsored by UN and foreign bodies to utilise these funds and network with youth groups, enlighten the people about the importnce of good governance and its impact on our lives as citizens.

Reuben Abati you are the joker of the century,am sure you and your former Mentor Sir Patito can not be close allies no more cos you really have fallen, all cos of some money-very weak.
You are a shame Reuben...Nigerians have no empowerment,we don't bnefit from our resources, now you guys want to oppress us too?

Its always good for the leader to be on the side of the people, not to keep pushing us all to the wall cos there will be a reaction.

Middle east is a geographic location,am talking of the culture of the Arabs,am not arguing that there are muslims or not in Nazareth, the arguement here my friend is that the Arab muslims started off islam, and most of the Arab traditions like covering of head by women, sharia law is what Islam is using as laws today.

The middle east has always been filled with predominantly Arabs, back then there was no such thing as Islam, but women back then. In places such as Nazareth and such covered their heads-cos the Arab traditions influenced them, since the culture of the areas then is Arabic culture and ways of life, its normal they imbibe some of it.

Most Arabs then were into judaism,Judaism has lots of influence on Islam in terms of some common beliefs between the two religions.

Am not a religious bigot or zealot like you, I don't care if our currency have any bloody inscriptions or not.

We are Africans not sand men...you should wake up from your indoctrination man and know where you are from-dont be an educated zombie.

They need proper fortification, smart trucks and good automatic weapons and most importantly they should be placed under the supervision of the Nigerian army.

These local vigilante will have an edge because it is their terrain and their land-the spirits of their ancestors will fortify and give them victory over those cursed foot soldiers of evil Arabs conniving with local politicians and traitors.

Death to all boko haram sponsors, death to all extremists- we should kill them all, purge our lands of this disease.

Arabic doesn't mean Islamic dumbo. Arabs knew Christ in person and millions of Arabs were Christians when your ancestors were living on trees and intermarrying with monkeys.
So tell me where Mohammed learnt his ways of life from?

Tell me where islam started from?

Early Christianity started off with Jesus Christ,Judaism that has been practiced by the jews is not christianity-no doubt millions of Arab might choose to be christians, but 80% of Arab are Muslims-the ones that are christians probably migrated to the lands,or the Arabs forced themselves into their lands-like they always like to invade people's lands.

You are a big ignoramus if you do not know the origins of the religion you adhere to.

Mohammed grew up in Arab lands and later led a rebellion to gain countrol and power-all he knew and lived by was the Arab ways of life-Sharia and all.

If we all arm ourselves, more boko haram members will be killed and they will think twice before attacking.

We should build trenches in community centres, big men from towns and villages in Nigeria should sponsor vigilante units with RPG's and automatic weapons.

Pls the world's immams and Islamic heads should definitely work on how people are misled with false hadiths-they should ban and outlaw certain sects that preaches this type of Jihad-it is nothing but terorism, people being used by powers that be to achieve selfish aims by force-imagine the poor lady-pathetic.

I know they are peace loving Muslims and that these teachings are false,we must not just sit and watch, action must be taken.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Government Admits Stopping Vigilante Forces That Defeated Boko Haram, Tr by Afroconnect: 10:01am On Nov 17, 2014
Only the Nigerian people can save themselves.

Clans-men and big-wigs of towns should arm vigilante units, but good guns and get good war-lords to train them.

Vigilantes are members of the community hence they can willignly die for their land.
Our military is politicised and we all know how this present president cme into power.

How can some-one that was dashed power use it well?
How can some-one placed in power by others not listen to them and maintain status quo.

I pity for any Nigerian expectin anything good from this weak administration-they are simply playing out Obj's and a few political block's script-the Nigerian people should take back their power from weaklings.

This world is all about interests,America and the European union fund amnesty-those saudi and Arabs manipulate the organisation with their money too...Nigeria has no real friends in the committee of Nations,as it is people are friends with you as long as you satisfy some of their needs.

Our "leaders" ought to know this and play the foreign relations game of asking for returns on any favour, not just dashing money, fighting force and resources to these ungrateful Nations.
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Army Retakes Chibok Town After Just 24 Hours by Afroconnect: 2:36pm On Nov 16, 2014
The Nigerian Army is trying their best given the terrain and politics in Nigeria.

Politicians should stop using the lives of innocent Nigerians to play politics-the political will to end boko haram insurgency is missing.

The leaders value their political affilliations and aims than securing Nigeria-otherwise the sponsors of boko haram would have been exposed and issued the death sentence they deserve.
Christianity EtcRe: "Touch NOT My Anointed..." What Does It Really Mean? by Afroconnect: 10:19am On Nov 16, 2014
Than you vry much for this piece bro.

I keep telling people highlighting the truth and speaking against the wrong things these clerics and pastors do is not wrong.

Even the apostles in one of the chapter instructs the early christians to advise each other and correct anyone that errs or is going astray.

For if we allow unrighteousness and sin to prevail, then what is the essence of our Christian faith?

So many youths on NL are supporting corrupt and materilistic men of the pulpit cos they want to be like them and become commercial gospel business men,so am not suprised by some replies here.

The term "touch not my annointed" was used in the bible when a Prophet of God was under threat of physical attack-Elijah was a real prophet,he lived a holy life, devoid of materialism,Elisha too,Enoch,Jesus Christ.

No one says being wealthy is wrong, but wasting that money that is not yours on your materialistic life-style in order to please men rather than invest in lives and souls is wrong and can never be right.

speaking the truth is a duty of all Christians,if your pastor is falling does not mean you should fall with him by accepting manipulations, materialism and deceit as truth.

But too bad,the Nigeria masses of today is so far gone, everyone just worships money.
PoliticsRe: The Masses Are Silly by Afroconnect: 9:26am On Nov 16, 2014
True, some people are satisfied with the crumbs they are getting from small time corruption in their offices and drops that trickles down from their political affilliates-they are prepared to trade a better Nation for this, where you don't have to be a hypocrite to make it,where your kids can enjoy the beauty of Jos without being scared of being bombed away, where we can enjoy the sights and cultures of Benin, Bauchi and more without watching our backs.

In Nigeria today most of us say we want to go to heaven, but we know we are not living a life that will take us there- with the greed and hypocrisy we live with.

Sometimes I think its due to the poverty and ignorance most Nigerians are born in, that makes them think money is a god, instead using money to create a better society- we allow the love for money destroy our society and threaten our collective peace.

At the end of the day the politicians cart away billions, run to live in france or dominican islands and the pooor burn or go live as a refugee in a foreign land.

Either you or your children will suffer the wrong decisions you take.
