PoliticsRe: Buhari Visits APC Members Who Were Shot On Their Way To His Campaign Rally In PH by Afroconnect: 4:38pm On Jan 07, 2015
A true leader must reach out to the people he swore to lead and protect, anything short of this is mediocrity.

We need a leader that will stand for the weak and vunerable-create welfare and pallatives for all that needs and give moral and total support to the people.

A real leader must show compassion, bravery and right judgement.

We need the better option for the job.

You are not making sense
Your myopic mind is too small to comprehend I guess.

We know that mediocres and slaves like you satisfied with the crumbs will try to resist change because your lot don't know a better way to make ends, unless u lick ass,do eye service or extort Nigerians that pass by your small office.

You are inconsequential in the scheme of things man...never mind.
PoliticsRe: Security Chiefs Meet With President Jonathan (Photos) by Afroconnect: 11:09am On Jan 07, 2015
Nigeria is for Nigerians, not for any one man-am sure the Army Chiefs are proffessional Nigerians, wise and understand the responsibility they bear-just like it happened in Egypt and other climes, the Military of any Nation must answer the call of their people-Jonathan is just a man,his interest is inconsequential when it comes in comparison with the aspirations and goals of the Nation and its people...hope he realises this on time, and arrange a free and fair election-the wind of change is blowing.

Can anyone stop the wind?

Not the case...he's simply stating the obvious

When our Nelipot President places himself in a precarious situation, anyone who wants the progress of this nation would call him to order, unlike his ventripotent praise singers. Someone who should be the custodian of our sovereignty as a nation is seen fanning the embers of ethnic and religious bigotry, forgetting that you cannot continue to fool everyone for so long.

From a religious perspective, Prophet Nathan Rebuked David when he sinned, i guess he should have stayed out of politics, and the politician shouldn't stay out of churches when they need votes I guess. If the polity is messed up and there's chaos in the land, would the church hold services? Joseph was a prime minister in Egypt, David was a musician to King Saul, Esther was married to the Persian King Ahasuerus, Daniel served King Nebuchadnezzar, showing that when the church distances itself from politics then they have no right to complain when policies goes against their beliefs, in-fact being involved with politics means influencing decisions, hence it was easier for the children to be freed from Egypt by Moses who grew up as a prince/general as a result of which he understood the inner workings of the Egyptian dynasty.

It is only a selfish individual that would want us to maintain the status quo, and if GMB messes up, we vote him out too.
You are right man,I keep wondering why these zombies will defend Jonathan that is inviting pains and disaster to our Nation-a disaster that wiill likely consume them.

Truly, the Kingdom of God suffereth violence, and only the violent taketh it by force... angry

But the same Bible says that 'prayer without works is useless'...

He shouldn't just sit there in Ota and form Bishop James Bond ... He should lead Christians the way Joshua led the Children of Israel against the Amalekites, Jebusites and the Perrizites.... He should cover himself with the Blood of Jesus, purchase a bazooka, and join the soldiers and vigilantes in Borno.... undecided

IF HE CAN'T DO THE ABOVE, HE SHOULD JUST SHUT UP, COLLECT HIS MEMBERS' TITHES AND OFFERINGS, AND OPEN A WINNERS CHAPEL PARISH ON THE MOON.... angry
Lol,your views are funny but I like it.

Mr Goodluck Jonathan stop these incessant killings of Nigerians, kill all our enemies and their sponsors or resign from that seat.
PoliticsRe: Military Repels Attack On Babbangida Village, Yobe State by Afroconnect: 2:11pm On Jan 04, 2015
Boko animals are cowards, they should all be sacrificed,so their blood cleanse the Nigerian land they desecrated with innocent blood crying for vengeance.

Nigerian Army are the strongest and toughest in the world-boko animals you all will die.
AgricultureRe: FG Crashes Fish Prices To Affordable Levels by Afroconnect: 5:11pm On Jan 03, 2015
The best option is to breed fish in our waters, and empower the sector, this tactics is gimmicks not sustainable, unless the government will start to develop our fishing sector right away.

We have no business importing fish.

That's where we get it wrong, its not waiting for a messiah...we need to keep up the orientation,we need to speak to the minds of the youths,it bulds up to a crescendo-the coalition of activists and people's coalition will rise up all at once like it happened in Egypt and the other Nations that have ejected the weak criminals posing as political leaders.

Let's keep enlightening the youths and masses.

Please if you read carefullyu you will see I clearly stated that neither Buhari or Jonathan can save the poor youths and masses.

F-ck politicians I wish they all die slow...we need to chase them out and start this Kangaroo republic afresh.

Seize all stolen loot and make them pay for the lives of innocent Nigerians their political games took and for the sufferings of Nigerians since inception.

Politicians are oour biggest enemy, and when the movement starts,am sure the military will be on the side of the PEOPLE.

PoliticsOnly A Revolution Can Save The Nigerian Youths From This Poverty Circle. by Afroconnect(op): 8:06am On Jan 03, 2015
The Nigerian youths must realise that neither Buhari or Jonathan can bring the change we need.

These power brokers/political hijackers have turned us to slaves in our own land.

Only a revolution,a mass movement of the Nigerian youths and masses can chase out these thieves who keep recycling their useless selves in power.

In Nigeria now, except you are connected,or part of the criminal cabal or you are a criminal chances of making it and taking your family out of the poverty circle is slim.

Look around you,all I see is a wasted generation-poor singles hooking up,bearing kids in poor families and the circle continues-while we watch those that are meant to work for us(our servants become masters, while we are trapped, oppressed and manipulated).

Nigerians rise up or die in poverty and misery.

The politicians have pushed us all to the brink-its either we fight back or die in misery.

You totally miss my point,international politics has no conscience...wake up,its a wicked,selfish life,it won't change.

What will sods like you say when Saudi Arabia refuses weapons heading to Nigeria from Pakistan to pass through their air-space?
Its simply because America don't want it,and they favour islamist extremists more than Nigeria-serving their interest.
PoliticsRe: Shame: Israel’s Hails Jonathan As Nigeria Block Palestinian UN Resolution by Afroconnect: 6:47pm On Jan 01, 2015
International politics is all about interest,we have more to gain with the Isreali's...Palestinians have nothing to offer us but extremists and terrorists...Good move,we should stop acting like the saints,we should support those that have something for us.

Nice one Eldee,I pity idiots who think cos they are ok they can sit on the fence...if the youths are hungry,no one will be truly safe.
Jona hs failed. Alisson Madueke is richer than 80% of Nigerians-some dummies wasting money while entepreneurial youths die of hunger.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram: Army Explains Delay In Recapturing Seized Towns by Afroconnect: 11:22am On Jan 01, 2015
Nigerians should allow the military enforce their laid down rules and enforce punishment.

Our constitution supports the military laws,we must realise that the military is not Jonathan and his corrupt cronies.

If we undermine the discipline of our military,we undermine our collective security.

PoliticsRe: How I Ended Maitatsine Crisis, By Buhari by Afroconnect: 4:26pm On Dec 28, 2014
If Mr Goodluck Jonathan can not perform his number1 duty of protection of Nigerians and their properties from harm and destruction-which is his number 1 duty,he should leave that seat.

The Presidency is not only for enjoyment, stealing and embezzlement,he must do his work or leave there.
PoliticsRe: Cameroonian Army Kills Over 100 Boko Haram Militants by Afroconnect: 4:20pm On Dec 28, 2014
Ebele Johnathan made a wrong assertion that boko haram are our brothers and sisters-after watching their videos I realised that the President was wrong in his assertion. The posture of the President matters,I wonder why Goodluck is sparing boko animals, what does he keep them for?

The President has not seen it fit to use his VETO powers and push for bills to enact new laws to prosecute terrorists and their financiers harshly. Pakistan is now executing terrorists and their sponsors after the attack on the school with large casualties-this our President is not very fit for the job of a President. Up till today no boko animal sponsor has been convicted, terrorists that are supposed to be executed will be given 20yrs jail term-pathetic.

Critical times call for drastic measures, every wise leader knows this and acts fast to save the lives of the Citizens.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Did It Take 2,000 Years For The Gospel To Reach Nigeria? by Afroconnect: 7:38am On Dec 28, 2014
Acidosis:
OP the intelligent illiterate. Take your Bible and read about the Ethiopian woman smiley

Gospel entered into Africa about 2000 years ago via the Ethiopian woman.

There was NO Nigeria, No Ghana back then. The word NIGERIA was coined some 100years ago, so how would GOSPEL enter into Nigeria?

It is true we have various levels of illiteracy.

OP is truly an illiterate. If Jesus was sent some 2000 years ago, how else do you expect his message to get to your imaginary Nigeria before his birth?

Are you confusing Jesus with Moses? Do you know Moses was given birth to in the land of Egypt? Did Jesus existed before Moses? Is Egypt an European country? We had countries like Egypt, Ethiopia, etc, but we had NO Nigeria.

So many question; too many for your brain to comprehend.

Very soon, you'd also ask why the bible never talked about Ekiti that was created in 1996. grin grin
There was a geographical space where present day Nigerians had lived for about 700yrs before the emergence of the portugese, then British.

The Benin empire,Nok tribes and Ile'Ife has been in existence-forget the name, black Africans known prsent day as Nigerians has roamed this space for about a thousand yrs.

Stop jungle justice, people can use it to set their foes up...and they can be reprisals-peeps getting killed and stuff.

Dumb Naija youths, the real thieves are the politicians-they steal our collective revenue and resources and use the loot for big cars and private jets, such leads to capital flight and demand for more dollars in the international market to meet import purchases-this automatically devalues our currency. These criminal politicians render our currency valueless and steals from us yet the youths hail them. But will quicly burn a small time thief alive-channel ur enegies right dummies. Naija youths are useless.

Only brave hearts, indoctrinated to destroy and kill all terrorists and enemies of our fatherland are worthy to bear the flag and insignia of the great Nigerian Army.

We are a strong and dynamic Nation-boko haram are cockroaches-they all will be crushed and burnt...the Chadians and North Africans are weak, they can't stand our force.
PoliticsRe: Property Seized By Boko Haram Seen In Chad by Afroconnect: 9:59am On Dec 25, 2014

Recent developments lately suggest the world is experiencing what is called a Renewed wave of "Global spread of Terrorism". African countries must put heads together to fight this evil by tightening cross border security, stopping illegal shipment of arms, and the ideology that fuels these terrorist. Africa may be the target of global expansion of terrorism.
These terrorists animals will sure take advantage of the porous borders, lack of data and cctv to help fight insecurity and proliferation of terrorists in our homeland.

We need more trained sniffer dogs on our borders and ports...all Nigerians must be oriented to understand that we are fighting a common enemy-extremists Islamic terrorists-the people must look out for their signs and ways of life.

Expose terrorists and their sponsors.
