With regards to the youth players. Not more than 2 or 3 of them will make it at the club. Apart from Garnacho all the top tier prospects are midfielders so how many can you introduce at the same time. For example it was the early pre-season form of Savage and Iqbal that ate into the minutes meant for Garner and Hannibal.

Apart from Garnacho there are no wingers and apart from McNeill no forwards. The defenders have not shown that they can be relied upon. What you have is about 6 players fighting for a couple of spots in the squad.

Another possibility is the Under-21 GK Vitek. The guy has real potential.

Zidane looks too silky. It seems he has settled on the No 8 position but when i first saw him play after his year-long injury he was a No 10 but he was tiny in size then.

Mainoo is superb in both offense and defence. He was the youngest player on the pitch at 17 and he dominated an opposition midfield with an average age of 25. His best position is also No 8 but he is comfortable as a No 6 in a double pivot which is what he played in this game.

It doesn't work like that. He has not been found guilty yet so he will still be getting the salary United is contractually obligated to pay him. When the outcome is known they will decide whether to terminate (if found guilty) or whether they have the balls to withstand the public backlash and keep him (if found not guilty).

Anybody who refuses to move on has himself to blame and not the club. They can't just terminate people's contracts to make you comfortable.

Very possible. When i watched their clips back then i actually preferred Martinez even when we were linked to Timber. When you factor in Martinez's mentality, leadership, and ability to play LCB which were qualities this squad desperately needed i think we got the player who is a better fit.

Henderson is better in distribution and sweeping, in fact very clear of Dubravka.

The only GKs that are better in EPL are Ederson, Pickford, and maybe Alisson.

You overrate this Henderson. His ball distribution is better than DDG's but not exactly elite.

It was a bad idea to start Eriksen after such a hectic game against Liverpool just a few days prior. And ETH had better start utilizing the 5 subs properly or else fatigue and injuries will set in and affect the squad.
