it was one of his ilk who described him that way.

Seriously there should be some kind of censorship to guard against such talk.

this is what you get when you try hard to give the impression that you ate smart when you really are not.
Lol.
Nothing is stranger than someone blowing big big Obahiagbon vocabulary but consistently making basic errors in diction, grammar and syntax.

Midfield diamond with carrick at the base and di maria at the apex and herrera and blind either side.
.....................di maria......................

........blind.....................herrera...........

......................carrick....................

This offers the best option for our midfield to control possession with accurate passing and gives good protection for our defence

In summary Carrick is past it and Fellaini is at best a situational/squad player for any team with title ambitions.

Blackett is a United fan born and bred, he would have stayed for 30k for now.......this is his first real senior season after all. The jump from 2k to 50k is very capable of inducing vertigo leading to bad lifestyle decisions.

those are the 5 most influential players we have had. schmeichel was a powerhouse too but he doesn't come close to the aforementioned players.
Cantona
Ronaldo
Keane
Ruud
Scholes

Didn't get to see much of United under the Robson era so I really can't say too much of him.
But Bruce should have been higher and people like Pallister should have made the list.
Ronaldo 1, and Cantona 2 in my view.
Yeah most of the great Robbo performances i saw were in old matches. Robbo,Ray Wilkins and Remi Moses looked really good together when i watched their tapes.
It was a trophy-laden era so it is only natural that a few guys would miss out.

Dayo alakogbagbe ni e.
we have been over this before.
We are arguing leagues not isolated club performances.
EPL has 3 different multiple finalists in champs in the last 10yrs ; liverpool, united and chelsea. Arsenal is a 4th finalist.
Who are the multiple finalists from the bundesliga?
EPL has 3 different winners in champs league in d last 10yrs....who are the winners from bundesliga
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 5:59pm On Oct 01, 2014
U keep repeating same mantra.
I keep telling u we all agree bayern and dortmund are really good teams with some great players.
BUT THE REST OF THE LEAGUE IS A JOKE.
The defenders go AWOL most of the time.
When was the last time a team outside those 2 was successful in d champs league.
And practically every year a bundesliga team gets misused in Europe.
In case u dont understand me: Bayer o da, Shalke o suwon cheesy
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 5:40pm On Oct 01, 2014
Yankee and Jand are declining but they still better pass Zimbabwe.
Most Bundesliga defenders have a clause in their contracts which forbids good defending.
I watch 2 to 3 Bundesliga matches every week and i see those defenders fulfilling their contractual duties week in week out.
The basket of goals Shalke,Bayer and even Bayern(last season) have conceded should open d eyes of the visually impaired.
Last season when United was struggling to get shots on target we know how many baskets Bayer used to pack their goals.Same with Shalke a few years ago.
The ra.pe defending champions Bayern suffered last season AT HOME is second only to the pillage of the Roman Empire by Attila the Hun.

elampiro: Rooney+RVP+Mata have lost us more points than they have won since playing together. Rooney and RVP can't keep the ball. Mata can keep the ball but cannot travel with it. Only one or two should start for us. Infact one of them should be sold latest January is they can't lift their game and ge their acts together once we have a stable defence and midfield.

One observation, we have too few men behind the ball. It has been like that from last season, and it got worse with 3-5-2. When our defence have the ball, there are about four opponents lurking around to take a swift advantage of any mistakes.

if we got a solid backline and midfield, our forward play would be better. We have a lot of men who aren't comfortable on the ball.

The third match in a row now we are being robbed of penalties. Young was clearly fouled today.

Whether we are rebuilding or not, we ought to win these kind of fixtures we are losing points. Too bad Di Maria has injury concern.
I am with you on this one. With Rooney,Mata and RVP we have too many "passengers" in the team and not enough movement, pace and energy up front..
I would like us to drop EITHER Rooney or RVP, play Mata behind the one stiker and revert to a 4-2-3-1 before its too late.

ONE THING IS CLEAR IF THIS 3-5-2 WILL EVER WORK IT WOULD TAKE LIKE 3-4 MONTHS AND BY THAT TIME WE WOULD HAVE LOST 30-40 POINTS
