SailorXY: are you sure you've just uncovered your true intent scanning a male's profile?LOL yes. true talk. wanted to confirm if you looked as slow as you type. and i have to say this, your face and your mind are a match made in heaven. ![]() |
Odunharry: easy broapologies |
Odunharry: carrick comes to mindhe directs the escort service. its just a shame we never fully benefited from the hargreaves/carrick combo |
SailorXY: I'm also not surprised you took time to scan my profilehad to identify the face behind the slow mind ![]() i have to congratulate you, u look the part ![]() |
PietroRico: even fletcher that was supposed to be our hard man, is now the most 'ajeburrish'Lets hope they crash out early then LOL. But wait o, if we are not getting Vidal then who are we looking to get in midfield? |
Odunharry: pace and pawayes o, we need some of elampiro's boys to come and save us. ![]() the level of shadow marking in our midfield is alarming, escorting opponents until they reach our 18yd box. |
SailorXY: what profession exactly are you talking about? I am not surprised, you look equally obtuse in your profile. ![]() |
Odunharry: make we grab am make he come bully players 4 us... True talk |
PietroRico: I hear barcelona are looking for who will take song from them on loan for FREE.YES. I wouldn't mind Vidal and Song coming over right now and if necessary we add Strootman in January. Vidal,Song,Rojo will give us some PACE and PAWA in midfield and defence ![]() |
SailorXY: you still asking the question after you've diagnosed?LOL what is your problem with my profession? Do you have a complex or something? Come out straight let me know ![]() This is like the 3rd time you are alluding to it.......what is the point? |
SailorXY: & who am I to fault the diagnosis of Ben Carson?LOL so that is your problem? ![]() so sorry sir, you are correct ![]() |
SailorXY: this is bloated air, what we don't have at all, not even close to getting is Roy Keane. our salvation starts from there.Lack of understanding is your problem sir. |
Dadehmola: Show me where I said anything like this Abeg.I tire o, this is why one has to ensure the person one is debating with UNDERSTANDS the topic first of all |
SailorXY: we have no DM @ allThat is why i said we need a DM,CM and CB now There is no time for piecemeal solutions now....and i hope with the way these people are shelling out money you finally realize that the money is there just that they lack sense on how to spend it |
SailorXY: but u maintain its not more important than positions. as it stands, if we must start from a point to get it right{as is conventional in everything natural}; the DM position is top priority. Then state your point and don't intentionally misquote me, it is not necessary. My point is we need to buy a DM,a CM and a CB NOW but u said we can just manage by getting just one DM and sorting the rest later. If buying DM,CM and CB is not taking care of the spine of the team then what is? |
SailorXY: dademola & afrodoc don't believe we need that spine to screen the back four, they still believe in Carrick screening an inexperienced defence & strengthening the strikers position afrodoc: If we decide that the problem we have right now is a CM,DM and CB then lets buy 2 or maybe 3 class players and not waste the last productive years of RVP and LVG replacing "flat tires" This is what i said, read it slowly if it will help you. |
SailorXY: dademola & afrodoc don't believe we need that spine to screen the back four, they still believe in Carrick screening an inexperienced defence & strengthening the strikers positionbros you don't have to lie. i suspect you know how to read and you understand English. You said we need to get ONLY a DM , i said our problems are more than that....i never said we should not get a DM. |
jdilight: When the advert to replace them hit the market our doctors in diaspora will return home. Who knows many of them will still apply but will then sit up. ![]() i tell you u need to join ali baba or okey bakassi, u sure are a stand up comedian. I am in the diaspora and i showed your comment to other Nigerian doctors and they were laughing so hard some passed out LOL. Come back to do what? We left years ago when people were saying if we didn't want to work in Nigeria we had no right to strike that we should go abroad, now you think we will come back when y'all just finished sacking your doctors? LMAO |
montelik: If we sign Di Maria for anywhere close to the figures being bandied around, I will lose what little confidence I have in Woodward and serious confidence in LVG. We spent £27m on an ill suited Fellaini, then £37m on an unneeded Mata, Now we want to spend £45+m on a winger when we plan on playing with wingbacks and no wingers, even though we have the likes of Valencia, Young, Zaha still in the squad. This would be basically flushing £100m+ down the toilet, while ignore the need to strengthen the spine of the side, central defense and central midfield.200m pounds you mean? I was telling SailorXY that it was more about lack of sense than lack of money. We are paying big time money for small players and loading up on places we don't need to load up on while neglecting other areas. I already have no confidence in Woodward,he obviously knows marketing but has ZERO idea about what football is all about. The jury is out on Van Gaal now, the verdict will depend on whether he is able to make this team gel despite the haphazard transfer policy |
This is what happens when someone has more money than sense, it is just throwing good money after bad. This is the manual for how to waste 200m pounds. Smh |
codedguy1: I agree with your position that we seem to have silly people people in charge of transfers but I thought Fabregas didn't want to come and LvG stopped the Kroos deal.yeah that is why it is all about convincing people to come and choosing the right targets, it is not about money. in my opinion kroos is better than herrera so why stop the kroos negotiation and continue with herrera? wrong choice IMO why allow strootman go to roma for 14m pounds and then buy fellaini for 28m pounds? these are not the moves of a poor man, they are the moves of a rich man who does not know how to best spend his money |
SailorXY: I don't choose to live in fantasy. if we had all those money(to spend) like the board goads us to believe, why have we never won a single to class talent (for about 6seasons now) when other teams compete. its not like we don't have the allure & all that. my 2cent says we don't have the *money* luxury. We have spent about 120m pounds or more on 4 players in the last 1yr. Don't deceive yourself it is not about money but about our transfer team not being able to convince players. Ander Herrera cost as much if not more than Fabregas Fellaini cost more than Toni Kroos. So we could not outbid Roma for Strootman who cost less than 15m pounds? Yet we are paying double that for a teenager that is unproven It is all about the silly people in charge of our transfers and nothing to do with money |
SailorXY: now that flat tyre is our DM position which we have 'managing' since Keano. Michael Carrick has been successful so far but we all know he doesn't get here and there or throw mud in our opponent's faces. he hardly inspires fear of any kind, just a quiet effective guy: still we had a rock-like five behind! please don't ever for a second underestimate the experience & leadership qualities that has been lost with Evra, Rio, Vidic & van Der Sar.If i was broke i would go your route, but since i am United and one of the biggest boys out there i won't be cutting and sewing or chopping and changing. I would upgrade transmission, change tires and fix any other issues immediately.....in fact if need be i will just go by the dealership and get another brand new car with a more powerful and reliable engine. Are u happy with ur auto analogy now? This club is not broke, i don't see why we need to make improvements in a piecemeal fashion. By the time u buy a DM this season, a CB next season and they all settle in RVP and Rooney will be too old to contribute effectively then we need to start looking for another striker, by the time that one settles in Van Gaal will be planning to retire...........u see the trend? If we decide that the problem we have right now is a CM,DM and CB then lets buy 2 or maybe 3 class players and not waste the last productive years of RVP and LVG replacing "flat tires" ![]() |
SailorXY: this definitely is not human anatomyLOL who said it was anatomy? And it also is not Auto Engineering, your analogy was way out there. I was just pointing to the contradiction in your earlier statement. Why are you complaining of lack of quality in DM position when according to you we have always succeeded with lack of quality? My point is wherever there is poor quality we need to improve on it and go for world class talent. The argument that we always succeeded with low quality is misleading as there are so many more top quality teams to combat now. The EPL is no longer a 1 or 2 horse race |
SailorXY: football is a team sport bros. City & Chelshit have constantly had better players than United since the sugadaddies; how many leagues titles do they have between them from then compared to man united? You appear to be contradicting yourself. On one hand you say we have always succeeded even with mediocre players and so do not need to upgrade and on the other hand you are lamenting our not upgrading in the DM position. Which is it? If we follow your 1st theory then certainly we can use the same mediocre players that have been playing DM for us and still win, since in your opinion we have had success whether we had good players or not. Times have changed and there is something similar to the nuclear arms race happening in football now. The big clubs are overloading on talent and becoming superclubs, the playing field is becoming more and more uneven, and we are gradually being left behind. We must not rest on our oars and just say we USED to win with Oshea,Phil Neville and Wes Brown and so we can always win with any players we get. We need to improve across the board, just that midfield (esp DM) is of the greatest concern. |
SailorXY: Mata & Herrera are good enough for Man United, what this team lacks is a DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER. a boring defensive midfielder (like Makalele) who will go into tackles with panache & decisiveness (not hoping to clean up lose balls) is what will make this team. all these prophesies of doom & all is nothing. this team is not anywhere near poor; its just not balanced!Mata is a good player, but personally i don't like his lack of physicality(even silva and iniesta are tougher to get off the ball) and his inability to dig deep when it gets tough in the trenches. He is good enough for United i just don't think he fits in with our usual style. The jury is still out on Herrera, there is no serious evidence anywhere that he is good enough for United. He is 24 and midfielders 2 yrs younger than him have already gotten capped by Spain. And its more of what our rivals are doing and what players other clubs are signing to improve their teams. And when i mean good enough i mean good enough to be bought for about 30m pounds and be a leader in the midfield. Herrera is not as good as Thiago or Martinez that a Bayern midfield already better than ours signed in the last few years. He is not as good as Kroos or Modric that Madrid signed, He is not as good as Fabregas that Chelsea signed. Teams that already have better midfielders than us are still signing better midfielders than us. How do you catch up then? There is too much pressure on Van Gaal to turn water to wine with this mediocre bunch we have here |
chrisley024: Good pass from Fabregas. That is why i suspect we wasted 100m pounds or more on our most recent transfers especially Fellaini,Mata and Herrera. Mata and Fellaini were both obviously panic buys and Herrera is possibly just a miscalculation(i hope he proves me wrong). The players i wanted us to get in midfield in recent years were Modric,Fabregas,Strootman but somehow they all went to other clubs for around the same amount that we bought these otu oshi for......it is mind boggling how badly the management has bungled our transfer deals. |
tess1: Latest on Marcos Rojoif it is true then that is great news. Nani seems to have lost all the confidence he ever had,and we need al the help we can get in defense. |
coogar: they may be right & they may be wrong but it still hasn't explained why you lie you are a doctor when all you sell is traditional medicine.Lol i no get your time today. I turned you into a living cadaver on Friday. People entering this thread were meeting your body parts all over the entrance like you suffered a Boko Haram bomb blast. LOL. Are you not Mr "i feed dogs their food at night, but i am a vet doctor". Are you not mr "i perform C/S on goats in labour"? The same one that failed UME so many times he was banned by JAMB and had to be parceled off to work in an animal farm in rural Wales? Where i laughed so hard was when you said you were studying hard in "medical school" to become a vet doctor? arindin master when did learning how to express milk from cows become medical school? face nihilist, i no get your time today |
Nihilist: I can honestly see why people call you sad and jobless. OROMPOTO! Chei....a sad, dead, broke and boring ashana? Hmmmmmm, where is that "i just dey observe" pic when one needs one? But wait o, Tapout and Nihilist can't be both right. Its either Coogar is a vet doctor or he is unemployed, he can't be both ![]() |
Dadehmola: This has to be the most hilarious thread on nairalandI tell you. I better step aside this is going to be a bloodbath. Coogar is determined but Nihilist appears true to his moniker, he does not value human life or morals......he is going for the jugular and he ain't sheathing claws ![]() |
Dadehmola:This guy u too like make them dey punish person sha, why you dey laugh like Baron Samedi? ![]() |
