DPOY and people are begging the coach to take you out of the game for a key defensive stop. Even the rim protection lazzident as Lively and Gafford were slamming in dunk after dunk. Then you sit down in the paint and turn Ant-Man's driving lane into a molue situation.

I think that’s what’s happened this season. He stuck to “playing his style” even though he doesn’t have the right profiles and it exposes the defense.

Gobert is still Wolves best rim protector. Gobert is not known for his offensive ability, KAT is the one that should be stepping up offensively like Naz Reid is doing but that man is mentally fragile.

That is not the point. We know KAT should step up, but Gobert also was still being dunked on at will on the defensive end. He was not protecting any rim in that 4th quarter and was a big problem offensively. You have to read the situation and try something different. The threat of KAT stretching the floor might have helped Ant to get going late in the game, instead every time Ant drove, he was met by 3 or 4 bodies.

If Ant plays at this mediocre level the Wolves will get swept. They need to set him up for 30–40-point explosion.

Almost all analyst already gave the WCF to the winner of the Nuggets v Wolves series.

That is what you get when you have 2 nuclear weapons that can score at all 3 levels and create for others at a high clip, and a premier defense.
And those 2 nuclear weapons are big game players.

Some coaches just make their players look bad. You knew the Mavs would look for the switch to isolate Luka/ Kyrie with Gobert in that winning shot. It is an absolute mismatch, Finch should have subbed Gobert out of the game or have him sag deep that way the switch would not look for him. It was bad/ mismanagement of that final winning shot. There is nothing Gobert could have done against a great shooter/ ball handler like Luka.

Gobert should have been subbed out for that last play. He played too many minutes in that 4th quarter IMO. Liability on offense individually, helped Mavs pack the paint against Ant, and was being exploited in certain spots on defense. What they were doing wasn't working, i would have tried KAT and Naz together more.

We overuse the term ankle breaker but that was a real ankle breaker. If you watch it again, Gobert was a few degrees of angulation away from having minimum a severe ankle sprain.

Luka is a unique talent. I don't think i have ever seen his skillset before.

Ant-Man has to go back to the lab and work on his mid-range for next season.

At this point, is coastal road our problem? We have Federal Highways in bad state that fixing them would have reduced travel time and reduce insecurity along those routes. But here we are spending scarce resources in perhaps another white elephant project that may be abandoned by subsequent administration giving our history.

It is a potential white elephant project, but it is what it is, and we are where we are.

There is only so much alternative route that can be constructed before the alternative route becomes the main route.

P.S I don’t think anyone realistically believed there was no way of saving those businesses. I always knew they could be saved, so this cable route diversion story does not move the needle in terms of my opinion.

Crucial and critical infrastructure would be saved. The man’s business was just not important enough in the grand scheme of things.

Even though i was not in support of the demolition of the Landmark property and especially the hurried way it was carried out, all hands are not equal. You can't compare the impact of saving a man's personal leisure business to saving submarine communication cables that serve millions of people every day.

I have always highlighted this problem in our team. Most times we press with 4 players or even 3 players at times. Only on rare occasions will you see us commit 5 or 6 players to the press.

Pressing with 3 or 4 players just leads to you being attacked easily as a 3 or 4 player press is easy to beat and you have now wasted those players up field.

It is better not to press at all than to press with 4 players.

McKenna coached our academy and Ipswich to play good football. Only the coach-killing mumunatus in our squad were unable to respond to his methods.

He's a good coach with potential that shouldn't be at a top club at the moment probably one of these mid table sides or in another country learning. This appointment is just the directors looking for a puppet to control and take any decisions made without questioning. He might succeed in the future like some of our young prospects who are gradually developing with game time but the question is will they give him time for his own project especially as he won't have much say in transfer business. These are the same guys who hired potter and fired him in under a year.

I agree with you 100%. I don't think he should take the job or even the United job. He should go to a club like Brighton first and wet his beak.

He is a really good coach with potential, but everybody can't be Pep.

McKenna is actually a very good coach. Arguably the best academy coach we have had in a really long time. It is just funny seeing Chelsea fans twisting and turning in their attempts to extract some positivity from his appointment. An appointment they would have mocked us for if we had made the move.

Even the Chelsea he mentioned have hired and fired about 5 times in the last 2 years and still have nothing to show for it, and that is because Boli and Egbami are 2 clueless people who dismantled the good structure that existed under Abramovic.

Bayern and Madrid have always had good structure in place. Chelsea could hire and fire successfully when they had a good structure. The moment the structure changed, hiring and firing stopped working. Anybody claiming hiring and firing means you should not have a good structure is a Glazer apologist and we know them by their tribal marks.
