I think Pep, on some levels, prefer he is coaching United and achieving success there.

Bigger brand, richer history, so his achievements would have a bigger recognition. But then it’s hard for any manager to succeed at United because of the Glazers.

And I’m not saying this because I’m a Man Utd fan. It’s just a thought. I think Pep himself mentioned something akin to not being revered enough for the trophies he’s won at City.
I don't think so. From a neutral point of view it is possibly more fulfilling to be the original legendary manager at City rather than competing for the throne with Sirs Alex and Matt.
You touched on the crucial point though. The Glazers' mismanagement would have worked against him.

Ahh that means I was wrong on this

I saw too many fake quotes

Respect to fergie
Timeline was like this.

Guardiola retired May 2012.

Ferguson's sister-in-law died October 2012. SAF decided to retire to spend more time with his wife (the sisters were twins).

Ferguson travelled to New York in December 2012 and he met Pep, asking him to take over from him. Unfortunately Pep had already given his word to Bayern and his appointment was announced in January 2013.

So Obi, Atiku and their supporters think Nigeria is not great? Only Tinubu's supporters think so? You that just called Nigeria a great nation are you a Tinubu supporter?

I don't care about party affiliation. Nigerians should just stop whining themselves.

If the speech had resulted in 20% reduction in fuel price you would have said he has hit the ground running but now you want to shield him from the own goal he scored.

How can such a careless fellow lead this great nation forward?
Nigeria is not a great nation. We should stop boboing ourselves.

I am happy they have stopped using that giant of Africa bobo that I used to hear almost daily from primary school until university.

All Iranians I've met are bad guys. Drink and drugs full their retinue. Have never met a Conservative Muslim amongst them

RIP to my main man and seatmate in college, Ali who died in motorbike crash while high on loud. The first and last time I saw magic mushrooms was in his hand.
Same here. But I have had a few of them as friends and they tell stories of some of their ultra-conservative folk back home. Funny thing from what they tell me is that the bad boys are more than the conservatives but somehow those ones seized power and have held on to it for decades.

The first time I went to one of their parties na there I dey see different types of hookah and they were adding all sorts of substances to the thing. Mind you, these were physicians and surgeons.

Even some of their women dey chain smoke like furnace.

I gently abstained to avoid stories that touch.

What facts? Did you follow our games then?

The way the two sidemen operate then in that 442 is not the same way wing men operate in 433 nowadays

So in 2008 Ronaldo playing on the wing is called a midfielder. The same Ronaldo played on the same wing subsequent seasons, position didn't change but now he's an attacker. Interesting
I am responsible for what i typed. You are responsible for your lack of understanding. In the EPL that season Fergie played mainly a 4-4-2 cos he could go all out and most times CR7 was on the wings, with Tevez and Rooney in attack. In the Champions League he brought in an extra midfielder and moved CR7 into attack to join Tevez and Rooney. Some other times he played a 4-4-2/4-3-3 hybrid like in the UCL final.

In Madrid CR7 played on the wings in a 4-3-3 NOT a 4-4-2. If you don't still understand then i can't help you out.

Ellexy:
They are attackers yes? And attackers are forwards in football end od story. Some of them have to skillet to integrate into the middle proper dictating and orchestrating play. Ronaldo is not among those who do that.
Stick to the 2007-2008 season in question. This is not an assessment of Ronaldo's career.

So Doc someone who's playing as a RW is no longer a forward anymore but a midfielder because of agenda?
In a 4-4-2 a wide man is a midfielder. In a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 a wide man is a forward.

Which agenda? Na you know about agenda. I have praised CR7 here and i have also lambasted him. Facts are facts.

Jodera:
Everyone knows he's an Attacking forward. (Key word is forward).

He hardly plays deep reason why he have so many goals.

This is just like 4231 where the "3" in the formation are called midfielders but anybody who watches ball knows they're purely wing-forwards
Don't lose focus. The debate is not about his whole career but about the position he played in the EPL in the 2007/2008 season when he won the golden boot.

No be 2007/2008 most used lineup be this?

angry
That was in the Champions League. SAF played a 4-3-3 most of the Champions League with Tevez, Rooney, CR7 in attack but in most of the EPL games that season it was a 4-4-2 with CR7 on the flanks with either Giggs or Nani (or JS Park).

That's the simplest question in the whole world and you're telling "is" is the problem.... cheesy okay let me add options.

Cristiano Ronaldo is......
A. Midfielder
B. Attacker
C. Defender
D. Goalkeeper
E. Coach
The question you should be asking is was he a midfielder, attacker, defender, goalkeeper, or coach in 2007/2008 when he won the golden boot. Remember that is what started this debate.

Dey play doc! How many filling stations he wan punish ?

For example I’ve been to like 6 filling stations close to me this afternoon and they’ve all stopped selling fuel.

The other two selling have very very long queues while selling at an inflated rate. He can’t even punish half of filling stations in one local government .

We are still back at the discussion we had last time that there are so many dishonest people in this Nigeria . Marketers who bought fuel at normal price are hoarding it to sell at whatever the new price will be going forward .
That is one thing with Naija. Even when the objective is good, the implementation will be bad. Hoarding is economic sabotage and should be met with severe punishment.

Tinubu should not have announced the end of fuel subsidy in his inaugural address, that announcement is what has cause filling station to stop selling fuel so they can rip Nigerians off as usual. He was not well adviced on this one at all, this is surely not a good way to start your reign as President.
It was a mistake. He might be able to salvage something by making a serious example of erring filling stations.
