You can choose to believe or not. It doesn't change the fact that Buhari has done very well in some sector.
Agricultural sector and many. Communication sector too. Pantami is doing very well.
His achievements are many and we will always appreciate him for that.

You can easily verify his achievements on Google since you ain't in Nigeria. Word? For real, for real? Google has info about Nigeria and Buharis's achievements as president? Colour me shocked. |

monerozi5590: Everyone knows Buhari has written his name in gold with his restructuring of the constitution except haters, this is just few of his many legacies
Import substitution with many start ups here and there is worth celebrating also but to haters it is bad news.
The list is many but like I said, even if you show them all of these, is nothing to them.
Like the saying goes, sometimes you will lie to yourself many times that you will start believing your own lies. That last line applies to you the most in this situation. Talk to the man in the mirror, bro. |

Ellexy: Sancho plays better on the right than on the left. Even when he was at Dortmund, he barely played on the left, it was mostly RW or CAM. This inverted winger stuff is not his thing. He played enough times on the left at Dortmund too and was great. With the Man City youth team that used to rod our team he was on the left, Brahim Diaz on the right, and Foden in the hole. He has just been poor since he joined us. We can’t use position to dress it up. He has been as poor on both left and right here as he was good in both positions in Dortmund. I watched a clip yday from his Dortmund days where he left Bayern defenders for dead with his acceleration. He has it in him but his attitude and mentality is all wrong. |

AWB has improved in all facets. If we can get the pre-world cup Dalot back then we don't need to waster limited funds on any FB. The 2 of them can sort RB between themselves for the next 5 years.
Sancho played well today and actually sprinted away from a defender at one time, but this is the bare minimum expected from him with his transfer fee and salary. This kind of performance should be his baseline or else he is just wasting our time and money. |

nihilistjnr: I don't think standard employment terms apply here.
Ben Hundeyin said she was being charged at a court martial for desertion. In a profession where employees are expected or even obligated to sacrifice their lives for the badge, I don't think we can apply standard employment terms.
To be honest, whilst if she absconded before working her full notice period at a normal job, her employers would not only be well within their rights to try to recover salary costs from her, but a particularly petty organisation could legally pursue her for the cost of lost revenue, although they would need to be able to prove that her absence led to the organisation's inability to satisfy contractual obligations.
The biggest takeaway here is that everybody needs to read their employment contract thoroughly before they sign. If you signed up to work for a police force that includes detaining abscondees in its disciplinary handbook, then the game is the game. I was referring to the nearly 12 months period that elapsed while her resignation was delayed BEFORE she deserted. From what we know so far i don't think she was in any official trouble until she deserted, and she only deserted because they refused to process her resignation in a timely manner. Even then, in most organisations you can't be forced to stay back to work just because you are being investigated for fraud or some other misdeed. If the misdeed can result in criminal prosecution that can go ahead whether you are still working there or not. The military (and maybe the police) can be different though. This is where your point about the terms of her contract comes in. Is it a fixed-term contract thing without option of resignation, or with resignation accepted only at the discretion of the authorities? The other issue is that she handled the situation all wrong, first by absconding and secondly by aiming for social media justice. Something that could have been solved in the first place by getting a competent lawyer. Even if the police messed up by delaying a resignation she was entitled to, she bailed them out by deserting. |

GloriousGbola: In a structured environment, If you are involved in some sort of disciplinary case or fraud case, you are automatically not allowed to resign until the case/investigation has been resolved.
That is why I am saying there may be more to the story. Maybe for the police and the military but I don’t think it applies in all situations. Forcing someone to keep working for you even when they want to resign is nothing but forced labour. Your fraud/disciplinary investigation can go on whether the person is still working there or not. |

ChristineC: I think he should be recalled. I've not seen his game but his name has been on the fringes of first team football for a while and it sounds like he's got potential greatness. what areas (& realistic targets) do you think Ten Hag absolutely has to splash the cash, asides the obvious CF position. Without knowing what the ownership would be it is difficult to say what is realistic and what is not. Apart from CF we need a 1st choice No8 badly. Casemiro can't survive one more season of doing Eriksen's defensive work. Then we need a quality sub No6 for Casemiro and a CB to replace Maguire in the squad. |

ChristineC: I think Ten Hag will aim to free up funds wherever he can. It's looking like the funds will be next to nothing this summer. You are right, but there are many ways to free up funds. One way is to recall Kovar and save money on buying another GK to compete with/replace DDG. Another way is to cash in on Kovar's successful loan and sell him for 15m and add it to the transfer funds. |

I am a huge Neymar fan but due to injuries dude has played more than 20 league games for PSG only once, and this was his record in his peak mid to late 20s.
Now he is 31 and coming to a more physically demanding league, and injury problems only increase in a player’s 30s.
If we sign him we would only be signing another doctor. Your skills and abilities are useless if you are away doing hospital shifts most of the time. |

Itsrm: The bolded is where you lost me. From what I gathered, Brits do not like care work and family ties are not as strong in the UK as it is in say Nigeria.
Someone has to do it. So if getting the immigration numbers up is what it takes to ensure the frail and elderly are taken care of, I'm not seeing anything wrong with it.
Besides, these people are not entitled to any benefit and are not putting pressure on government resources, they and their dependants still work and pay tax like every other person. What exactly is the UK losing here? What am I missing? Care work is manual labor. It does not have a multiplier or exponential positive effect on the economy. Any reasonable country will prioritise the immigration of people with unique skills like economics whiz, IT whiz, neurosurgeon, over the immigration of cleaners, care workers etc. If they allow more and more people to immigrate into their lower class the burden on social security system would be too much. |
