Of course the signings of Bruno, Trippier and Isak has helped him so much. If he was still fielding Longstaff in that midfield he wouldn't have had this much success.

You have to appreciate the mentality of those Newcastle players. Even EtH at some stage was building up play with the LB coming into midfield. It's not a new thing. You always need good players to execute your ideas.

Doesn't take anything away from Pep tho. But if his players can't/wouldn't do everything he asks of, and he doesn't get enough funds to replace them, he won't get the results he's been getting.
