How Sancho take negotiate collect 350k sef?? grin grin
I am sure he didn’t have to negotiate much. Ed Woodward and his boys used to award new contract like Udoji. Phil Jones has been getting 110k weekly for the past 4 years but he has played only 6 league games in that period.

Even me the no1 Sancho fan didn’t believe the salary when I first heard it. I still don’t believe it 100% sef cos it makes no sense at all.

Maybe the guy will learn his lessons , maybe he can come back strong .

I just saw a news piece from ThisDay speculating Tinubu’s presidency May spell good times for him

https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2023/03/19/for-toyin-subair-good-times-are-here/amp
Yeah. He had the backing of Tinubu (both Bola and Wale) back then too. We kept hearing that the 2 of them were going to give him the funds when the loan issue became complicated. I suspect they decided to cut their losses instead of throwing bad money after bad money.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc2: 10:19am On Apr 26, 2023
BlueRayDick:
There are two versions to the story of Hitv’s demise .

The first version was that Toyin Subair na happening guy and he’s always attending most high society parties he’s invited to where he is always generous to musicians singing his praise . Like he can’t look away when u are singing his praise on stage, he must always bless u. So he’s not financially prudent .

Then there’s the other version of the story that when it was time to renew the EPL rights he was going from one bank to the other to get advanced loan to purchase the rights . Unfortunately they were unable to perfect the loan till the bidding for EPL rights closed . Word on the street was that DSTV knew about his financial difficulties and they used their influence to pressure banks not to speed up the loan booking process till it was too late .

As much as people were hacking their decoders then, information was not easy to spread that time. For example , only the viewing center in my area that time was using the cheat. Those who had the decoder at home were paying the official price of subscription
The No 2 reason you gave is the truth.

First Subair overbid for EPL rights and overextended his finances. He however didn’t recoup his back money as he expected due to viewing centre shenanigans.

Final nail in his coffin was when within a short time time it was time to bid for EPL again. It didn’t take much pressure for DSTV to pressure banks into making the loan process tough for him.

Subair’s major problem was overestimating the influence the EPL had on Nigerian’s viewing/subscription habits and not properly accounting for female viewers in his calculations. He also massively overbid for the EPL.

In Most of the apc situation room videos, I think I saw fashola not gbaja.
Your strengths as a war time consigliere might not be as useful in peacetime. Even the British discarded Winston Churchill as soon as Hitler was defeated at the end of the 2nd World War.

Fashola is probably the better electoral strategist and administrator but in terms of loyalty and keeping NASS onside Gbaja might be better.

[font=serif]Gbaja no dey go house again.....LMFAO

Cc afrodoc2

guy that moved Gbaja knew that he had phuked up. He quickly owned up and did "CoS no vex o, i no see you before".

Tinubu probably trusts Gbaja not to overstep his boundary more than Fashola who is very independent minded and can be quite mean at times. Fashola will terrorize a number of people as CoS.

Yes 2 from Lagos. We currently have 2 from Lagos sef. Fashola and Mamora

I don’t think Fashola will be picked again as minister. He will one of the kitchen cabinet guys. Is Wale Edun not from Ogun?

Edun is the next finance minister.

Fashola is still my pick for CoS, not Gbaja. BAT has always appointed Fashola into strategic roles, I don’t think it will change now.
Yeah I think you are right that Edun is from Ogun State. I was thinking of Lagos because he was commissioner there.

Hopefully Gbaja is close marking Tinubu for other reasons.

Wetin Fashola wan use minister do again ? I wish Fashola will get a more influential role like COS . The COS is like a defacto president especially when the president’s state of health is like that of Tinubu .

I prefer Fashola calling the shots instead of Gbaja. Fashola has a proven track record in public service .
I also think Fashola would make a better CoS but the Taribo marking Gbaja is doing no be oju lasan.

Ordinarily one would expect Tinubu and Fashola to run it back at the national level but Gbaja might have gegenpressed Fashola out of it.

1 minister per state and another 1 from each region of the country to bring the total to 43 if he wants to continue with the current format.
So potentially a maximum of 2 ministers from Lagos. Edun and Fashola?

Gbaja doesn't wanna return to House as a floor Member. CoS or Nothing.
Tinubu will still need some core supporters in the House na.

But how many ministers can come from one state? There are a few expectant people from Lagos State.

Abeg Afrodoc2 which drip do people carry around like this?
Looks like a PICC line. The medication doesn't have to be in any pouch under his clothes. It is used for someone that is expected to require long term intravenous therapy with maybe antibiotics, chemotherapy, etc.
