I watched Aondoakaa’s interview. I have not read/watched Ozekhome’s.

Honestly that issue is straight forward in my opinion. It is a matter of simple English and there is no way the constitution will give veto powers to the residents of Abuja.

People are not even realising the real problem with that portion of the constitution. There is a potential repeat of the 1979 Twelve Two-Thirds saga if someone wins 25% in 24 states but less than that in 12 states and Abuja.
We will have a repeat of 1979 but this time around it would be TWENTY-FOUR TWO-THIRDS.

Aondoakaa was lying through his teeth. I caught his lie the moment he made it.

Why would Supreme Court make any decision of 25% FCT in 2008 when the 2007 election result never had a state by state breakdown?
Nobody knows who scored what in the states or in the FCT in 2007 so i don't know why Supreme Court would be ruling on it.

If we are to use obvious lies as evidence someone can as well come out and claim that the Supreme Court ruled that only men with tribal marks can be president.


P.S Aondoakaa was Attorney-General not Chief Justice. He was the unfortunate fellow that said that the President can rule from anywhere when people started asking questions about Yar'Adua's prolonged absence from the country.

The 25% FCT issue is a case of ignorant people that do not understand the constitution. Yakubu does not have a duty to accomodate the ignorance of people.

The IREV issue is a different case which I didn’t really follow in detail. So there may or may not be a case there.

Only cold blooded desperation can make any informed person try to use that 25% FCT claim.
Yakubu does not have to cater to desperadoes. His job is to read out the results. Ignorant people and desperadoes can go and waste their money in the courts depending on 25% FCT claim.

Yeah I have watched 12 angry men. Both the original and the remake. It’s a classic.

There is no perfect system. You have to look at it from the point of the founding fathers and the original US citizens who had just escaped nearly 200 years of British tyranny.

Those guys didn’t even want a President at first. Their aim was to ensure that 1 man under pressure from centralised authority could not punish the common man. They preferred to give such powers to their peers. Unfortunately not all men are created equal in society.

Both the jury system and the system with verdict by judges have flaws.

It was established to protect citizens from the excesses of tyrannical authority whereby judges could be used to deal with citizens.

Most of the founding fathers of the US were against centralisation of power or authority in any form.

There are deeper problems in the country beyond just the wording of the electoral law.

LOL. It is not about adjusting formation. It is about how you do it. If you just adjusting and adjusting that one no mean anything. Maybe you have not seen the type of adjusting i am talking about. Person go adjust and check formation so quick that people watching will be unable to follow.

I was very good on PS2 and i had my standard 4-2-4 formation. No need for too much adjustment. Concede the whole possession to you and beat you 6-1 cos i was very, very good defensively. Once i win the ball from you in my half i do "up suru" to my winger and that is the end cos i would have 4 attackers and my CAM in your half.

Onile had to restrict setting formation to just 1 minute because some people fit spend 10 minutes on top formation. E get one guy like start, e fit start with normal 4-4-2 but by the time wen him go finish with him customization, e fit become 2-5-3 or another alien formation and you go chop like 6 un-replied goals.

I am not afraid of those that spend 10 mins on formation. I am afraid of those that switch formation from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2 and then 3-4-3 and then adjust player position and arrows, AND do all these within 1 minute. You will be just hearing "ta, ta, ta, ta" as they make their changes on speed mode.
Na those ones worry pass. Such speedy formation changes can only be mastered after thousands of hours of game play. It also requires finger dexterity that not everyone has.
