ChristoBam:The fee would be lower with another year off his contract and Barca having run out of levers to pull. Na parachute remain to pull ![]() |
raumdeuter:That’s the well touted Fisopawon defence. |
A40:APC are using their Taiye Taiwo

raumdeuter:Kanye has a diagnosis of Bipolar Affective Disorder. That is why he so unstable and illogical. I however think he might have Schizoaffective Disorder rather than Bipolar. People with diagnosis can be quite dangerous. |
MRTA7:Yeah i know about that. That is why i said a man can dream. We can sell off VDB, McTominay and Fred to pay for de Jong's transfer. Then get Tielemans' on a free in the summer. Casemiro, de Jong, Bruno, Eriksen, Tielemans, Mejbri. Loan out Iqbal, Gore, Shoretire, Savage and Mainoo for the season. A man can dream. |
Ellexy:Na self-contain apartment. Room no dey. |
TrebleChamp:Yeah, he can't press like Bruno but it is not a bad combo to use if Bruno is not available or gets tired towards the end of a game. Imagine being able to make changes in midfield without having to call on McFred. Tears in my eyes. |
dammywapes:Let’s go back for de Jong in January. Casemiro, de Jong, Bruno Casemiro, de Jong, Eriksen Casemiro, Eriksen, Bruno de Jong, Eriksen, Bruno Permutations, permutations, permutations. A man can dream |
TrebleChamp:Who said so? ![]() |
TrebleChamp:Are they on Big Brother that we will know whether he apologized or not? ![]() |
ChristoBam:Maximum 3rd chance. He is allowed only one more phuckup. ![]() |

Karleb:Franco Baresi. He was a saint. P.S Cristian, not Christian. |
Karleb: What about if you tell him to sub into a match? Will he gladly do it? You Cristians have to realize that it is not about being a stubborn goat but about ensuring the whole team pulls in the same direction and you can't have another player dictating to the manager. Do you know that 2 of the major reasons why the team collapsed at the end of last season were: 1) Ronaldo led a player revolt against Rangick's pressing tactic 2) There was a leadership tussle between Ronaldo and Maguire who were not on speaking terms by the time the season ended, and players were picking sides. Distractions like these will destroy any chemistry this team is building. it is more than the quality of the individual player. ETH knows that if he allows Ronaldo to set his own rules, he (ETH) would lose the players. |
Karleb:He should play on Thursday and improve his sharpness on goal. With the way we have started dominating possession and creating chances there is no way a fit Ronaldo doesn’t score 5 goals before the World Cup. He should just try and press, because that press is one of the things helping our defence and it can’t work if 1 player is slacking. We can start league games with Ronaldo, Rashford, Antony until Martial becomes available. |
MRTA7:Yeah. I think it was 7yrs. That alone makes me suspect him. Future Man Utd legends.
|
MRTA7:Very good talent that might fulfil his potential once he leaves Simeone's fossil football. He has not lived up to the potential but that must partly be due to Simeone. The problem is he cost 110m pounds and still has 4 years left on his contract. |

andrewbaba44:That ranking is only for English clubs. If you go to their website they started ranking clubs in 2016 and this is the first time that Manchester United is not 1st (they are second this year). Meaning 2016/2017 Man Utd 1st, 2017/2018 Man Utd 1st, 2018/2019 Man Utd 1st, 2019/2020 Man Utd 1st, 2020/2021 Man Utd 1st, 2021/2022 Chelsea 1st. But Chelsea has the greatest academy ever. ![]() Why does Chelsea always attract this kind of fans? |
andrewbaba44: ![]() That is why it is called common sense not universal sense. |
kozmicity:It is only people with agenda that refuse to understand. Even if they had the discussion before the season started do you expect ETH to keep starting him if he now finds out that CR7 is physically unable to carry out all the duties expected of his No 9? ETH was excited about working with CR7 and possibly asked him to stay. Unfortunately CR7 missed preseason and at his age that was a huge mistake. I am sure that immediately he gets to full fitness and sharpness ETH will make him a starter as long he can fulfil his duties both on and off the ball. Nobody expected Ronaldo to fall off this sharply. Time will tell if it was due to missed preseason or if it is Father Time starting a terminal decline. One thing is certain though, he miscalculated by missing that preseason. |
Karleb:He ticks the link up play, creativity, and finishing boxes. I don’t know how much he can press after playing under bus parking manages at club and national level for the past 4 years. Main problem though is his age and the fee that Spurs will demand. If there is a younger alternative that’s who we should go for. |
Lana1:He will become free at 31. I am not sure ETH will want to a buy an attacker in his 30s. I like Harry Kane but I think it would be better to look at long term fixes rather than a stopgap. If the fee is reasonable next year and Daniel Levy doesn’t behave like a mad man maybe we can get him, but honestly we should be looking at younger targets as well. Once players enter their 30s it takes only a missed preseason or a small injury for a precipitous decline to take place. |
patrickmuf:Which L? No wonder some of you guys come here to type ridiculous things. In order to dodge an imaginary L about a player you like you guys will come here, and instead of telling the truth that about said player you will start saying illogical things. I am a Man Utd fan first and foremost before any player. That is why you would never see me cooking excuses ad nauseam for misbehaving players the way some of you guys do. I have no time for any player who is not helping my team win. If it is fear of L that is making people illogical they should stop it. The quality of discussions here will improve. L no dey kill person. ![]() P.S I have said many times I am a Royalist not a Cristian or Messianic cultist anyway. Pele is my GOAT. |

raumdeuter:Exactly. But even that 2 CS they have their way round it. I remember when a group of interns working under me was studying for the CS equivalent in Aus the Indian girl had a link to an organisation that ran face to face tutorials for the CS. Owned by Indians. Even in the UK back then the top tutorial course for the PLAB clinical exams was run by Indians. If you ask Nigerians they will tell you “Na God” and go to church to give testimony about how God favoured them even though they were unprepared for the exam. |
raumdeuter:Nigerians are one of the most educated immigrant groups too but we don’t have the population advantage that they have and we don’t pool resources together. Let me give you an example. When I was doing my medical council examinations to get into Aus a decade ago I accidentally stumbled across a chat forum where Indians from all over the world discuss the exams and those who have passed it drop past questions you are likely to face. The result being that Indians pass the exam at a higher rate than most other foreign doctors. I passed and entered the system. When it was now time to sit for my fellowship exams a few years later I came across another informal group of Indians studying for the exams. They arranged themselves in a way that each of them crams 10 questions from the exam and after they come out they collate these questions and have an informal question bank. They do this every year so that next set of Indian doctors sitting for the exams has a treasure trove of questions to study with. The result was the same, Indians passing at a higher rate than other foreign doctors. At the same time most Nigerians were doing it alone and sometimes even keeping the fact that they were sitting for the exam a secret. ![]() |
raumdeuter:Indians are incredibly competitive but usually gang up together to pull one another up. If an Indian gets into an organisation he will work hard to climb to the top, but also ensure that he gets other Indians in as well. Check back in 15 years and the organisation is half-Indian. It doesn’t matter if it is even receptionist job. That receptionist’s son will grow up to become a heart surgeon. Nigerians are very competitive but often tackle one another not to be left behind. If a Nigerian gets a good job in a lucrative organisation he will probably tell his fellow Nigerians that it is God. He won’t fight hard to get them in so that they don’t pour “sand sand” in his garri. Nigerians will usually try to do it alone while Indians pool resources together like crazy. Another thing about Indians is that they have sneaky good way of ingratiating themselves with top white guys, and before you know it they are “in” with the bosses and making fun of you guys while other immigrants are still on the outside looking in. The last factor is just population advantage. There are a billion of those guys back in India trying to head out to the West. |

Ellexy:It is almost impossible to satisfy Cristians. Now that it looks like Ronaldo might be leaving their bad belle don big like woman with 9 months pregnancy and kwashiorkor. ![]() It doesn’t matter to them whether the club is selling Ronaldo, allowing him to go on a free, or keeping him with him accepting his role. Each scenario turns their stomach. Na ETH I dey pity pass. They are secretly sharpening their knives while crying themselves to sleep every night. The day ETH starts to struggle the usual suspects will come out and plunge their knives into him like Julius Caesar, for as we know Cristians don’t have forgiving spirit. ![]() |
engrelvis:That was Sir Kazeem. ![]() |
