Kagawa, Mkhtaryan, Sancho.

I think we should just keep away from Dortmund in the future.

Line breaking pass is important so I see why you have Eriksen back in alongside Casemiro but do you think Fred's industry might work better against Chelsea's energy? I feel it's abit risky away from home with that lineup.
Chelsea won't allow us time on the ball like Spurs did. Your touch and passing in midfield have to be assured which is why i prefer Eriksen. Fred had a monster game against Spurs but i am never sure which Fred is going to show up on match day.

The choice between Fred and Eriksen depends on how the manager wants to approach the game. It is key that Casemiro plays and plays well though.

This is also my preferred line up...
It is going to be a tough game. I am interested to see how much possession we can have against another good team that is not going to sit back like Spurs.

If Malacia can’t bench Shaw, Williams doesn’t stand a chance.
Very few left backs in the EPL can bench Shaw when he seriously competes. It is drive that he lacks not ability. Considering how much he is paid it is quite disgusting to be honest.

I think this is the height of unprofessionalism of the Nigerian police .

One of the attackers of Suleiman’s convoy was arrested and u can see unprofessional policemen interrogating him in the open public , while he’s not giving the needed answer one of the policemen shot him in the leg. It was alleged he died at the station grin

I think the policeman should be arrested . I mean how do u shoot a suspect who just killed ur colleagues and u are looking for answers to their death ?
You no hear the illiterate Nigerian saying, " I like this policeman, you are doing your job". Those are the people you are arguing with on Nairaland. grin

Claiming another man's banana that branches into your fence is criminal at best even when you go through the courts. Also, the land dispute led to loss of lives and properties
This tactic is DOA. There are many things you can use against the man. Castigating him for successfully fighting for his state when your own governor dropped the ball is not one of them.

They are campaigning for most likely to succeed as a leader not most likely to make heaven.

Stealing another man's food to feed your family is bad no matter your intention.
A good man and a good leader are not always the same thing. Every leader is expected to fight for the rights of his people. The same way we expected the Nigerian President to fight for the rights to Bakassi. It is left to the courts to decide who is right.

Obi has no case to answer in this situation.

"Kogi state would have become an oil producing state 10 years ago, it was Peter Obi who for no reason challenged Kogi's status in the court and Goodluck Jonathan wholeheartedly supported him. Today, he wants our votes so that he can take it back from us again. May we not have neighbours who take away food from our mouths. Amenly musing"

-- Haruspice
It is not for no good reason. Every governor has a duty to fight for his state when it comes territorial disputes.
It was the then Kogi governor who was incompetent in fighting for his people while Obi did a better job.

The most annoying part for me was him saying he knows those behind the attacks. So he knew people have been trying to kill him since 2017 he didn’t take any legal action against them, now they’ve succeeded in killing 7 innocent lives around him and he’s still saying he won’t do anything to them . Nah! I can’t deal
It is probably a bad criminal deal gone wrong. So he can’t go to the police or the courts. He most likely will try to sort it out the old fashioned way cos they will keep trying until they get him.

Cristians: Imagine! How can he send Elanga on instead of Cristiano. Disrespecting our GOAT! This is unacceptable!

Unfortunately it is Nigerian culture to give out money when people beg/ask nicely; Maybe if I was in another country I wouldn't have obliged
When waiters, road workers, street urchins, alms beggars etc ask nicely, maybe. Not people that have guns and after a while what you were giving them voluntarily will become mandatory again.

Soon it will become their own entitlement too
Security at eatery is even good. Those ones don't have guns. The Nigerian masses dey part of the people wey institutionalize corruption for Nigerian Police.

If as people seem to be saying, coercing people to drop money has reduced/stopped then the general public should do their own part to in not encouraging those practices to come back. Egunje was initially voluntary back in the day before it became mandatory.

No matter how we look at it sha , the ENDSARS protest yielded some results. Nowadays police harassment has reduced to a reasonable extent sha .

I remember last Sunday while driving some police officers stopped me for regular stop and search and after confirming my papers were fine and My drivers license still valid , they just said “ Bros happy Sunday , show ur brothers love” . I just smiled and handed the guy #500 without being under any form of threat. He was appreciative , waved me bye and I moved .

I wondered how that could’ve ended prior to the whole ENDSARS protests. I know police officers still extort people but it has reduced to a bare minimum sha
You guys need to stop giving them any money whether they ask nicely or not. This was how it started in the 80s with police begging for small egunje and by the 90s they became entitled and started demanding for bribe and shooting people over it.

American president wont resign that easily sha. He will rather spin it in the media
Will Rishi automatically ascend or there will be another round of voting?
That's one of the differences between a parliamentary system and a presidential one. The U.S President for instance was directly elected by the people and the office is also more powerful and it takes a lot for Congress to think they can kick him aside.

The office of UK Prime Minister on the other hand evolved over time as a sort of first among equals with limited powers and no direct electoral link with the people.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about Ronaldo of 28 or 30. I'm talking about his ego and pride here.

There's so much one can take. Even we as Men, there's so much we can take when it involves our ego. What we might do to react might be wrong but that doesn't mean it wouldn't hurt. That it hurt Ronaldo doesn't mean that same thing will hurt someone like Malacia or Shaw.

That's just my point
This is just shalaye. What we did was wrong and there is no defending it. A manager can tell you to warm up and based on the flow of the game can change his mind.
He disrespected the manager, his teammates, the fans, and the club. No mitigating circumstances. If your ego is that big then your self-control should be equally huge.

The team played well but we should not get carried away. Spurs have been quietly faecal this season playing their fossil football. Conte should be quartered for what he has been subjecting Spurs fans to. grin

The next game against Chelsea is a more accurate litmus test.

I noticed it 3 weeks ago, vs Everton.
Yeah we all noticed it but the issue is can he maintain it? Is it a trend or short just a brief anomaly. In addition, it is important to note that Spurs didn't really press. The litmus test will come when he has to face quality high pressing teams and has to make multiple quick decisions and passes under intense pressure over the course of 90 mins.

Funny thing is I think he actually know how to place. I watched a few of his goals in 2018/19 season for club and country and his placements were extreme self.

There was this goal England scored, I don't know the year but I think it was 2018 or 2020 where sterling passed the ball to him and without breaking a stride he scored it beautifully. And yes, it was a placement too.
You go for power when you are low on confidence. A player playing with real confidence will always appear to have more time on the ball. What he is doing is an attacker's form of when in doubt kick it out that defenders do.
