You cannot be a fullback and be built like a teenager with the strength of a boy with no pubic hair. Look at Walker, Cancelo, Trent, etc. How many of them are as weak as Telles and also pretty slow?

Physicality is not needed in every team. Some of Pep’s players are not physical. Some good/successful EPL players are technical but not physical.
