melodyogonna: You think it's six, I think it's nine, we're both right and wrong, depends on the perspective you choose to look at it from. You are right, especially with your 6 and 9 analogy. I am looking at it from an upright perspective but you are looking at it from an upside down perspective. |

Roland17: Results of weigh in..
T. Fury-277 v 238-Wilder
Wilder would do well to avoid a hard jab or upper from Fury because he will be rocked if it lands.. They keep coming in heavier with each match. I don't think a single punch from Fury can really rock Wilder, more a combination of accumulated punches and empty gas tank. Fury though always has to be concerned about Wilder's one hitter quitter. It is an intriguing match up. |

A001: You're not making any sense at all. If this assertion of yours is true, then that no civilization has ever existed on this planet in history because looking at human history, the majority of the peoples in all parts of the world have always worshipped one god/goddess or the other, whether civilized or not.
Today, religious people are in the majority in all First World countries. Just like those religions of the so-called civilized people have their good and bad aspects, the native ones in Africa also do.
But the problem is you're focusing on the bad parts of these indigenous religions as you were taught by the white supremacists.
Thus, if you're saying that for the simple fact that being religious means a country isn't civilized, then you clearly don't know what you're talking about.
You're taking "civilization" to be the same as "enlightenment". But both are starkly different.
In all eras of human history, freethinkers have always been in the minority, and I don't see that changing in the next few hundred years.
(Though Otem says in some centuries from now, the scale will tip in favor of freethinkers. This, he claims, was revealed to him by some ancestors of Africa, the gods and goddesses worshipped in religions, who monitor (future) happenings on Earth via satellites from other planets with times much faster than ours and in some parts of the inner universe where there's no time.
It's an interesting statement, but still a claim nevertheless.)
You're a clearly a very ignorant fellow to posit it was the whites that brought enlightenment to Africa.
Were most of the white people or Arabs themselves even enlightened a few hundred years ago?
You're funny.
In any nation or during any human era, the enlightened ones are always few. Agadagodo! |

ambr055i: Please, I need your advice because right now I'm confused about where to go, it's a lifelong decision.
I just turned 34 last month, still living with my uncle, but no pressure on his part is a big house. Currently, I teach in a school where my net salary and my home lesson inclusive are approx. N 100000 a month. I have a master's degree in engineering, so I haven't put that certificate to use. I have a saving of 900k, it will be higher by December. Although it would have been more than that, I lost 400,000 to the detriment of a bad investment. Last two years, I had an illness that struck (ENT related), which doesn't have a cure. One of the symptoms is vertigo (a sensation of feeling off-balance). This made me change my mind about travelling. For a few months now, I haven't had the experience.
I have three thoughts, but I can only do one at a time.
Firstly, leave my uncle's house, get an apartment. Use the rest of the money to start a business as a side hustle while working with the school.
Secondly, leave my uncle's house, get an apartment. Next, I invest my time in a tech skill (web dev, programming or data science).
Thirdly, travel to the US for my PhD program. I have already been preparing for my GRE before now.
Thank you. Leave Zoogeria for the US and get your PhD. |

elrony: Lol calm down na, I no exonerate Fred I dey vex say nobody else even made an attempt to bring down their man, we play too clean for my liking tbh He got within touching distance twice and failed to stop the move. That is where the "Fred has got it covered/not got it covered" bit comes in. That is the time to foul the player or nip the move in the bud. Once the player is in full flight everybody is scampering and it is a bit more difficult to foul him. Not saying it could not have been done but the 2 best opportunities were when Fred tried to charge him. |
