Same result, if I compare Klopp's 393m pounds to Pep's 666m pounds. Klopp has won a UCL, and is going to win an EPL trophy this season. Pep has won 2 EPL trophies.

Okay, I know it took Klopp about 6 years to get to the top, but he spent less. Pep is a cheque-book manager. He can't succeed without huge funds. All managers that won EPL trophies in the last few years have won without breaking the bank.

NB: The main point is that Pep spent way more than he should have spent to win 1 EPL trophy in his first 2 years at City, vs Mou that won 2 in his first 2 years at Chelsea.
Lol i am not supporting either side and often skip the JM/Pep/Klopp arguments sef.

Was just highlighting what i felt would be a more convincing line of argument for you. Use what each person spent compared to his rivals and the league at that time, not comparing across different decades.

cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy You have changed the topic o, shuuuuu!

Meanwhile, see below the effects of inflation on 2007 prices. Even if I bring in other factors, I should not exceed 250% cumulative inflation rate. Pep is a prodigal son!

He spent 0.9b dollars to win 2 EPL trophies.
A better index would have been comparing what JM spent to what his rivals spent in 04-07, and then what Pep spent to what his rivals spent in the present era.

List all the 30 players Mourinho bought when he first coached Chelsea. I want to debunk your lies.
I believe it was actually 29 players. He wasn't far off the mark.

I love Mahomes but Dame Dash was the MVP of this SuperBowl. We might as well just name it the QuarterBack MVP.
It is what it is. Mahomes came through in the 4th quarter like you predicted though.
I just like the way African-American quarterbacks are taking over.

You know they would never do that. It was a chance to crown the new face of the league and they took it
Yeah. Could have gone either way, but the QB always has the advantage (especially an annointed one like Mahomeboy)

He can’t use his legs because the 49ers are doing a great job spying on him and he knows it and that is why he can’t run out when he is flushed out of the pocket and scrambling outside the pocket.
The 2 Safetys and LB are the ones keeping him from running away because they are spying hard on him. When he ran the first time he took a very bad hit and lost the ball for a 4th and 1. You don’t want to suffer that because the 49ers are hard hitters.
He can use Kelce for some short yardage attempts.
The problem is that D line. They are the ones giving the 49ers secondary the confidence to be spying a gun slinger QB instead of worrying about his speedster receivers.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by afrodoc2: 2:55am On Feb 03, 2020
Roland17:
The Chiefs have no running game so they have to rely on their receivers and Mahomes for any offense.
Yes but that is not new to them. The 49ers D line though is what is rocking them.
The pocket is not safe for Mahomes and he is having to get rid of the ball early and under pressure.

He needs to lean on Kelce more or use his legs.
This D line won’t allow enough time for his speedsters up front to get enough separation.

I thought it was a bad call.
Yeah. The arm was out but there wasn’t an obvious push off.

Probably saved the Chiefs 4 points.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by afrodoc2: 2:37am On Feb 03, 2020
KC Chiefs have a soft ass defense. They get to the ball but can’t make a play. Allowing too many yards after their soft ass contact.

Whilst true, I don't any defence in the league can keep Mahomes quiet for a whole game. He already has a rushing TD btw. Keep the game close enough and watch Him takeover in the 4th.
Hopefully. They don’t have to to keep him quiet for the whole game though, just slow him down enough.

The keys are the KC defense and then their O-line.

LMFAO.......Bruno started as a 10, but got moved back because Pereira kept making mistakes. Ole's reasoning was for Bruno to see more of the ball, which was a good idea.
Very true. Bruno dropped deeper because of Pereira’s mistakes.

Gullit made a promising start to his managerial career when in the first season as a player-manager he guided Chelsea to an FA Cup triumph in 1997, the club's first major trophy in 26 years. The club also finished at a creditable sixth place in the Premiership.

The following season, with Chelsea in second place in the Premiership and proceeding to the quarter-finals in two cup competitions

Copied from wikipedia

I hope you see the difference doc?
Are we talking about the same Gullit that was sacked from his last 3 jobs, including by clubs in MLS and Russian league?
cheesy

Gullit failed as a coach. I am one of his biggest fans here, but it is what it is.

I see how you side stepped Maradona and Henry.
We can also add Bobby Tambling and Kerry Dixon to the list.
Or Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas, Kevin McHale cheesy

Isn’t it obvious. It gets to a point Bruno was using his hands to tell them where to pass to. I’m sure he will be wondering what exactly they have been doing in training.
That was our dear right back AWB. Jogging along side Bruno when he should have been sprinting on the overlap to drag the opposition full back away and open up crossing path for Bruno.
Zero attacking nous. Na to dey bounce on tiptoe and call it dribbling he sabi.

He should be watching DVDs of Gary Neville every night before sleeping. You don't need too much skill to contribute to the attack as a full back.

Martial has been the worst player. He is easily bullied off the ball and losses it on his own. Also making wrong passes. He killed a good counter
He has been quite poor. What is the point of that physique if you fall to ground under the slightest contact. He is showing well for the ball but not making use of the passes he has been getting from Mata and Fernandes.

I wouldn't mind taking James off and bringing Chong on.
