Victornezzar: Why is Ole playing Bruno in the CDM position??
I don’t get it He didn't start there. He drifted deeper and deeper as the game progressed and we lost the midfield battle. |

chrisley024: Lol. I don't even know why he does that. Instead of learning how to move and cross the ball It's like you guys don't understand, He has close to zero attacking ability, so all those easy attacking plays that come naturally to an attacking fullback seem like JAMB to him. |

The sight of AWB struggling with the ball in the name of dribbling would have been really comical if it wasn't so sad. Phuck it, it is still comical. |

Leyqute: Is Graelish a midfielder or a winger? I find him on the left wing most times. That is one reason i have not been convinced about him. They keep playing on the wings instead of in midfield, maybe because he prefers to dribble rather than pass. |

Leyqute: Shaw did put in some decent performances before he got his contract renewed. And this wasn’t when he was a youth footballer.
Doesn’t negate the fact that his drive to succeed is low. The problem with Shaw is that he can’t maintain good performances. His return from a timeout can be fantastic but he eventually loses it all in subsequent matches. We are saying the same thing. He lacks the drive or discipline needed. His body type means he can’t get away with what a Giggs or Vardy will get away with. He needs a C.Ronaldo like level of discipline just to maintain decent fitness. |

Leyqute: Sanchez was a 'god' at Arsenal. Once he secured the bag at Man Utd, he turned to rubbish.
Shaw looked like a fantastic talent- until he got that salary bump.
Once their contract is about to expire and they don't have many options, it's not uncommon for players to start putting in a good shift so as to get a good contract at their current place or elsewhere. Sanchez had turned to otu in his last 6-12 months in Arsenal. My friend who is an Arsenal fan used to complain about his diminishing pace and touch as well as his inability to combine well with team mates. Shaw does not have the discipline or drive needed to be a great success as a footballer. It has little or nothing to do with his salary bump. It's just that the things he could get away with as a teenager (in terms of poor diet and lack of exercise) he can't get away with now. |

sod09: hooleeshit Sod, using the Ibime percentage criteria what is your degree of congruence with Citadel and Apari schools of thought? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by afrodoc2: 12:31am On Jan 28, 2020 |
Ibime: Good analysis Prof.
We will now highlight the key tenets that underpin both groups.
For example, if you score 70% and above in the following test, you qualify for membership of ApariSports. Readers should feel free to mark themselves.
If you agree that:
Pep is a God -20% VVD is a fraud - 20% Hazard is a shakushaku master - 20% EPL is a weak league - 10% Cuntay is a local fraud - 5% Beasting finals is the criteria to differentiate players - 5% Anything Airmark says is wrong - 5% Net-spend is irrelevant, only total spend counts - 5% Other interchangeabe criteria as Raumdeuter deems fit eg Belotti, Kychokewack, Boateng, KDB, David Luiz etc - 10%
Alternatively you can score yourself for membership of Citadel here. Anything above 70% qualifies you for membership:
Pep is a fraud - 20% Hazard is a God - 20% EPL is the best league - 10% VVD is a God - 10% Boateng is a calamity - 10% Iniestas is a eunuch - 10% KDB should not be mentioned with Hazard - 10% Anything Raumdeuter says in wrong - 5% Other interchangeabe criteria as Airmark deems fit - 5%
I score myself 20% on ApariSports criteria and 60% on Citadel. Which means that though I do not qualify for membership of Citadel, I lean more toward their views. How about you Prof? Why do you score 10% for interchangeable criteria for Aparisports but only 5% for Citadel? Anyway based on that scoring system i am 35% Apari and 25% Citadel. In other words I disagree with most of the tenets of both schools. Hmmm, Pkasso might have a point. It appears there is an opportunity for a 3rd school to rise up. One that is fair and balanced. |
