Against top quality opponents if JM wants to use the 4-3-3 then the only space available for Mikki is the RW where he won't be at his absolute best but can still give a decent performance. He is at his best as a 10 but there will be times when we will use formations that do not include a no 10 role.

I'm ain't convinced with performances of Mkhitaryan as a No. 10, hence I'm also hoping for a Combo of Pogba, Matic and Herrera.

But I'll prefer Herrera plays 10 instead of Pogba. He also gets good Eyes for decisive Passes.

Pogba is far better than Herrera as a 10. Herrera can't give you Pogba's goals and his passing range is limited. Having said that our best 10s are Mikki and Mata.
Only way Herrera gets a regular starting shirt is if JM goes for 4-3-3 with Herrera at RCM and Pogba at LCM, Matic at the base and nobody plays 10.

Wenger is selling off his CBs and playing his LBs as CBs. Wenger has LBs but he is either playing them at CB or benching them while playing a RB at LWB. Wenger bought a striker for 50m but benched him and played a journeyman in a marquee match.
I won't be surprised if Oxlade performs well under Conte who is one of the on point managers presently unlike Wenger who is an anachronism.

Sadio mane never gives his marker a moments rest...I can't even tell whether I am watching his last or latest match sometimes because in every game even when liverpool are failing you notice his work rate, willingness to defend, goals and aggression! These are attributes I want to see in martial...he had that kind of work ethic at monaco but at united he is always looking disinterested And feels influencing games is not his responsibility! Bottom line is he needs to do more even when games are not going his way....he can learn a thing or 2 from manes approach to games!

Now whenever someone makes a critical assessment of a player people start calling the person a hater. Martial and Rashford have both started the season on decent form but they both need to improve their game play in different aspects. Pogba too can improve in some aspects of his game. Same with Lukaku.These are the guys to take us to the promised land that is why we should keep pushing them to achieve their full potential.
Critiquing a player's performance does not mean you hate him or think he is thrash. Working on your game and displaying discipline n drive might be the difference between a Rooney career and a C.Ronaldo career.

Not taking anything away from McG but Floyd losing the early rounds is nothing new. He is the smartest and most patient boxer there is, he will allow you show all your cards before he breaks you down.
He and his dad always have a gameplan and they always follow it no matter what happens during the fight, he didn't get to 50-0 by accident.

IMO Kante is better than Herrera. The eye test gives a resounding answer on that, stats are for close calls.

This your mentality would not have led to the development of a Messi or a Ronaldo. Developing those qualities is what will take them to the next level. If not they will stagnate.
Rashford has to improve on his finishing and his aerial ability, Martial has to be more consistent and improve on his work rate. I see no problem in asking them to improve on the timing and routing of their runs.

Meanwhile Rashford and Martial should go and beg Lingard to teach them how to make runs. I don't know why the least talented of them is the most savvy. The run he made for that Fellaini goal reminded me of Chicharito.

Jones has always been our best defender. Problem is keeping his fitness. Who is to blame for that DDG save chance at the end?

Bailly left his position in the 6 yard box to try and close out the crosser. When a CB does that he HAS to stop the cross otherwise he risks exposing his GK to a tap in scenario like today.
Bailly and Jones are our best CBs, not Rojo and definitely no Smalling. Jones should see TBJ to remain fit and Bailly has to learn to be patient and slightly less cavalier in possession.

You have got a good point there but I believe it is just an option to try now that we are riding high because a point will come later in the season when we will need Martial to come on the pitch to JOIN and not REPLACE Rashford.
Also even though I am not Mata's greatest fan he does offer a significant goal threat whenever he is on the pitch so he can be a game changer even coming from the bench.

Jose should try starting all 3 i.e Martial, Rashford and Lukaku in one of our home matches just to see how well they work together cos we are going to need all 3 together in a big game at some point this season. Mata can sit on the bench for the experiment.
