dopeJemi: Most of the players you mentioned are unrealistic targets and you know that, Kane is a no no for me
Aubameyang and Lacazette are the only realistic targets we can go for, I don't see us signing a prolific player before the TW closes I think Kane is much better than what we have now but if not him there are other options, maybe better ones. Benzema is a realistic target if we offer an attractive fee. Aubameyang, Lacazette are also possible too. There are always options....one just needs to offer the right fee and the club would be ready to sell. We are actually in danger, we will struggle to score goals because of 2 things 1) our current attacking personnel 2) the snail speed of our buildup. SIDDON LOOK MODE CANCELLED, PANIC MODE ACTIVATED! |

Or go to their German suppliers and ask for Aubameyang or Reus. Or go to our French partners and ask for Cavani. Or go their French rivals and ask for Lacazette. Or go to our Spanish friends and ask for Benzema. Or simply break the bank for Harry Kane. NOTHING 50 MILLION POUNDS WOULDN'T SOLVE |

So this is how Depay plays against a team that costs more than 2 million pounds He has been as effective as HIDDEN "ikediachukwu" HIDEzard this season. |

As you can see in the post you quoted. There is no mention of Hazard and Depay o.
It is Ronaldo, Beckham and Cantona......and Depay
Ever humble sah! Nothing do you. That fan is just doing what most fans do i.e try to establish a similarity or connection between present youngsters in the club and club legends. But when people are seriously comparing "He of 11-X European goals" (where X is the number of penalties) to Gods of the Arena like Messi/CR7 then there really is a problem. |

All aboard the hype train. Choo! Choo!!
Depay put 2 past a keeper that was happy enough just to be at Old Trafford...now it's meme galore. Nobody remembers the one on one that Depay had with an EPL keeper where he couldn't even keep the shot on target just last Friday.
Choo! Choo!!
That's a Manyoo fan online solving quadratic equations. Good God!
Is that a joke question?
Or are you the Hype Train Driver? However Chelsea fans are very modest, they do not hype Hidden Hazard. IT IS MORE RIDICULOUS TO COMPARE HAZARD TO MESSI/CR7 THAN IT IS TO COMPARE DEPAY TO HAZARD. |

You both have points. We need a leader and not a learner as Elampiro said. However leadership is not always about age. Tony Adams, John Terry,Buffon e.t.c became leaders at an early age |

The rarer ones are those that never even got a yellow card or were never booked. Matthews, Charles, Lineker were never booked so they never got red cards. Then for club football you add Giggs,Scirea and a number of others who never got red cards playing for their clubs |

I just read about him now. I read he was never verbally cautioned by a referee despite playing in two extreme positions. Centre Forward and Centre Back. He also played for many clubs. Had about 4 years in Juventus. Played for some English sides including Leeds. He's described as the most all round English footballer of all time. Yeah. Played as both centre back and striker, never booked. However those days football was more physical and there was no diving lol. For your info, 6 different clubs from La Liga have played a UEFA final in the last 10 years
Those 3 players you highlighted won PFA player of the year before switching clubs. Do I need to list uncountable names from La Liga who were almost nobody in the league, but have become superstars and even legends in your overrated league? elampiro:
1. Our Centre backs (Jones and Blind) played too apart from each other. Centre backs are supposed to stay together always or almost all the time. I saw the two guys apart in highligh against Barca and the goals of PSG.
2. The four men at the back lack understanding. They didn't know how to play a same line offside trap. This actually was the reason we conceded the first goal. Contrary to what people think, it was not Jones fault but Shaw and Blind who kept two PSG players inside. At the end one is forced to ask who Blind was marking and why he left a big hole in the Middle while he knew the offside line was not drawn.
3. The pictures explain number 2 above.
4. Jones took his eyes off Ibrahimovic for the second PSG goal. Jones likes to anticipate a pass and intercept but he got this very wrong at the wrong place. May be it's a mistake and his lack of plenty matches in the position is taking a toll.
Again, I think the two CBs were apart somewhat. Ibrahimovic wouldn't find such an easy space in Chelsea's back.
5. Generally, it was a match between a team in process and a team that has been together. This same team played 10 men against Chelsea at the Bridge and were able to score from two free headers.
6. Our back lines has to decide whether to play high or deep. Blind lacks speed, so it's better to play deep and right together like Terry and Cahil. May be if we saw Smalling and Blind, it would have been easier to draw the line.
I didnt see the 1st goal but most analysts blamed Jones. 2nd goal was mainly due to Jones. He was near Zlatan but instead of staying with him he just ran back into the box marking nobody.....that was a stupid mistake. I expect to see Smalling and Blind start against Spurs, Jones has demoted himself in my opinion. |

Tvegas:
See how guys are vexing because we lost a match. When we beat Barcelona all I heard was Depay is a beast, Perreira Is a ghost etc.etc.
Irrespective of results coming from the preseason United still need to plug holes in CD and CF. This is quite obvious and I hope LVG can see what y'all seeing, enough of the philosophies. I think the vex is mainly cos the glaring deficiencies at CB have still not been addressed and this is compounded by the wasted time and effort put into chasing Sergio Ramos. Blind might look good at CB until he goes through 1 month of marking Benteke followed by Costa,Lukaku and Harry Kane. We need size, strength and leadership at the back. There are still several positives from this preseason Depay still looks like a beast and he will show several clubs pepper this season. Shaw and Darmian looking very good. Perreira showing real promise. |

JayKayMaybachz: ✔ ✔
Memphis will join mata and rooney at the attack
If you read the article well you'll get the view
Maybe he didn't want to use the 433 formation during the pre stuffs... You know his clamouring for creative players upfront.... Maybe he's got the target pinned down... Doc lets wait untill the season kicks off.. .. Of what i have seen, mata has cemented his position in the starting 11
433 last season helped us alot.... we created good chances mid season with.. It . Our problem was the cdm position and attack.... Now we've filled the cdm position.... We need a very lethal striker or attacker.. [winger] ✔ With that, we will grab lots of goals. .. . I believe i understand what he was trying to say but it all does not come together to make sense. 1) You plan to play 4-3-3 during the season but play 4-2-3-1 during preseason 2) If u plan to play Depay in front 3 during the season why are you playing him centrally behind the striker throughout preseason. 3) If you plan to play Depay in midfield 3 during the season then that is a misuse of his skill set. The debate on Mata's best position is for another day but not RWF in my opinion. The summary is there does not appear to be a coherent and consistent train of thought to LVG's "philosophy". I have activated a siddon look approach until the transfer window closes before making a comprehensive assessment of our chances this season. |
