fabregas has supplied more than 50% of chelsea's assists this season. he has created 16 key passes in only 4 league games - a luxury torres never had in his time at chelsea. to then compare torres to costa without looking at the underlying factors is grossly rëtarded!

Yes. It is still possible the goals dry up for Costa but Fabregas is a confirmed midfield general and assist master.
It is good though to see Arsenal,City et al continue to drop points while we find our feet....our aim this season should be the top 4 not necessarily the title.

Playing Di Maria as a wing back would be a waste of his talents and a drain on his energy. We have Shaw,Blind,James,Blackett,Young e.t.c who can play there.
Di Maria needs to be placed in a position where his attacking ability is fully expressed e.g on the wings,in attack or attacking midfield.

I think they have to use the high line in moderation. There was a time the GK had to come out almost to the half way line to clear the ball...and their defense has been relatively leaky for years. They have a soft core......looking like Dortmund without Hummels and Subotic

4) Mata or Rooney in the hole

5) If Mata starts in the hole then Di Maria and Rooney play on the flanks. I f Rooney starts in the hole then Di Maria and Adnan play on the flanks

6) Falcao to start. RVP on the bench.
