Be like sey na only me no watch this finals. To watch highlight sef tire me.

The Mavs overachieved this year tbh. I was shocked a Jason Kidd led team made the finals to begin with; with his nonsense rotation all season long.

But a few weeks ago most people were having them as favorites even on this thread.

Kyrie heard the criticisms, was in the gym 3 hours before the game started. 20 points in 21 minutes. They had better win this series to have any shot at redeeming himself.
A player of this caliber should not wait for criticism before he does what hes got to.

This is a fair evaluation (coming from a non lebron fan’s perspective).
Android17:
Generational talent simply means a talent you would only find in a generation. The only contention we can have is the definition of a generation. Talent should be easy to define. One easy way to spot generational talents though is, the retinue of other players that come after said player modeling their game after him in almost all his essence and basically trying to clone or reproduce him.

That said, MJ is the archetypal generational talent. What is he, 61 today and his name is still on everyone's lips as far as basketball is concerned. Players know that if they can replicate his moves, they'd have a better shot of making it in the NBA. Everyone wants branded shoes, signature dress style, smoking cigars after winning titles, crying with the O'Brian trophy etc. This is apart from his winnings and general charisma.

Steph Curry is a generational talent. He has paved the way for what the NBA calls diminutive players. His pattern of crazy shots from everywhere. The no look quick releases etc. He literally affected the paradigm called basketball and revolutionized the game. If there is no Steph, there is no Caitlin Clark. You can add other names.

Lebron is a generational talent and freak of nature per his athleticism. He superceded expectations people had for him and has records that will last generations. But he is the MJ clone who is trying to find his own way. That's what the Lebumites here are doing a bad job of trying to hide. Lebron is generational especially with respect to dumping teams for the next upstart. He started the player's ownership mentality in terms of their careers and many are beneficiaries of his boldness. He should be given that credit. He studied the game and found how to dominate it the way he met it. MJ and Steph changed things.

It is too dangerous for the Lakers to tank the game against NOLA. Wetin be the guarantee that them for beat the warriors or Sac in one elimination game? Steph can go ballistic in one game and kill you.

How are they sure that Okc will not humble them regardless and turn them to laughing stock.

You manipulate rankings when you have already locked your playoff spot , not when you are still unsecure.

This is the notorious Paul killerman aka Vega100 aka Apostle aka American dad but real name is ikechukwu Obinna Onuselogu. He used to be a household name in the romance section, and in the streets of port Harcourt.

Got a couple of scamming allegations on his name but he still manage to avoid a sentence.

So you mean David Michael is not necessarily his real name but he will represent the "David" and the "Michael" foretold in these scriptures you are quoting?

Or you mean that is/will be his real name as in the birth certificate.

seunmsg:

Yes. IREV is not even mentioned anywhere in the electoral act. IREV is just a result viewing portal and not a collation system. Even copies of form EC8A given to police officers on duty and party agents can be used to collate result and declare a winner.

Peter Obi's agents were given the results of all the polling units in the country. All he had to do was collate his own result based on the copies given to his agents and take it to court as evidence instead of looking for IREV result.
Till tomorrow I will not understand why Peter Obi could not do that very simple task. Your agents have their own copies of the results , simply collate the results yourself and show where and how Inec deducted from your votes. Very simple thing to do.

If needed, Every other argument could have come on top of this fundamental one just to add drama to substance. That's how you do an election petition!

There's no issue of technicalities here. Atiku and Obi are just wasting thier precious time and resources. The certificate issue is a pre-election matter and the best people that supposed to take it to the conventional courts were the Osibanjos, Ameachi, Bakere, Lawals etc. These are the people that contested the primary election with Tinubu. A candidate coming to the election tribunal ought to bring form E8 and must prove beyond reasonable doubt that he or she scored the highest number of votes, but inec suppressed the votes and gave it to his opponent.
Very simple. I don't understand how Obi's and Atiku's SAN's could not understand / do that.

Business / Re: High Exchange Rate: Cargo Import Drops To 65% At Seaports by Afromentalist: 8:43am On Oct 25, 2023
Hello,
Kukutente23:
1. proof that Obi inherited $100m from his parents.

Peter Obi said it himself in an interview for The candidate. In fact, I was wrong about the amount sef, it was $170 Millions https://gidibase.com.ng/news/i-inherited-170-million-from-my-parents-peter-obi/

For reference, Dangote started with a 400k loan.

Kukutente23:

2. Kindly quote the law which criminalised a governor saving (not investing) state money in a bank he has shares in. I hope you realise most govs since 1999 have saved their state monies in banks they have interest in.

Article 7(4) and Article 8- Conflict of Interest, Code of Conduct for Public Officers
"A Public Officer shall not put himself in a position where his personal interest conflicts with his duties and responsibilities"

Kukutente23:
3. Kindly explain how a gov will get interest from money he saved in a bank he has shares in. Do you understand how the banking system works at all?

If you don't know this then I am wasting my time discussing with you. By the way, I am a financial analyst, consultant for international companies.

Obi earned money from that $75 million because the Banks used that money to lend out and earned interest from it. The interest grew the profitability and Equity of the bank. Remember, Banks can lend up to 8 times the amount saved in their treasury. It means for $75 millions, Obi saved in his banks, they could lend 75 x 8 = $375 millions to their clients, at minimum of 12% and above per annum. This means, Obi's bank earned a minimum of $45 millions yearly as interest from that $75 millions.

Kukutente23:
4. It's funny that you spray perfume on Tinubu's criminality as you confirmed while criminalising Obi's saving decision as a gov.

Again you are wasting my time as you completed missed the point. Both are criminals (Obi and Tinubu). In fact, any politician is likely a criminal as it is required to manage men. Human beings are animals, and until you are ready to deal with shi*t, you can't be a leader of men successfully. What I am saying is that Tinubu's criminality is more intelligent than Obi's. Please I hate to waste my time.

Kukutente23:
5. Democracy is not a monarchy of dynasty with a line of succession.

You are daydreaming. Even within a democratic system, a good leader always tries to ensure the next leader builds on what he did instead of destroying it. In the US, most outgoing president campaign and work for their choosen successor. It might work or it might not. Obi has failed to produce a successor, in whatever area. Do you know that after Georges Washington, the next 7 presidents of the US were all secretaries or vice presidents under him or his successor? That is how you build a long lasting and vibrant economy.

Can you name one big politician / entrepreuneur that is a son of Obi?
Even Atiku has political sons such as Dino Melaye. Obi has none, he is improductive. He just captured labour party for his own sake and goals. Tinubu built APC from the scratch, built great men in their hundreds. Even if Obi becomes president, you can be sure that in his goverment there will be at least 2 people that are sons of Tinubu one way or the other.
