The government need to help this industrious town through RENEWED URBAN PLANNING to move them to the next step of HUMAN WELLBEING.
A lot of demolition and relocation of markets out of town and far from main roads MUST take place in Nnewi to redeem it from becoming uncontrollable LARGE SLUM in future.

Shops have to restrict wares display within the shops, no extension of shop shades and shelters onto the road, eliminate street trading, expand key roads and junctions...............the idea of massive demolitions and relocation may not work. I wonder what the old site of unizik teaching hospital will be used for when they move to the perm site in Umudim Nnewi? that's the only substantial space left within the town center.
