marsman: Second fiddle? Ogbeni shut up with this wailing jare, does it not tire you. You ve been ass licking the Fulani since the first republic till 2019. Just because the Yoruba's now decided to work with them to support their own interest you are now wondering. Hypocrites radaradarada. Mind you, this is a Heterogeneous country the Fulanis are there because it is their time, before the Fulani it was the Ijaws with his Igbo government who's stupid actions led to the Vegetable we have now. and after the Fulani's it will probably be a Yoruba person so there is nothing like being laid or led by someone who can do better. Jonathan with his Igbo government with their acclaimed high intelligence did nothing spectacular before they were kicked out just all mouth. The heterogeneous nature is actually an advantage, if some tribe can actually stop hating and accusing others on false claims for being better than them in most areas. If we can see Beyond tribe work together to kill the disease eating us as citizens of a country everyone's uniqueness will then be noticed. Stop the hate, we really don't care down here in the west. Our aims and goals are beyond the shores of Nigeria. And when ever we see stats like this not giving us the credits we deserve we are not mute and dumb. I give up on you, your case is a complete lost cause....you probably have more sense in your hidden nether regions than in your cranium cavity, we will leave you people and the Fulanis to continue your oza room philandering....bloody hamites!! |

seunmsg: Corruption of course. There is so much money involved in arms procurement. Buying directly from arms manufacturers will involve government to government negotiation so the prospect of enriching themselves corruptly is reduced. So, they prefer using so many funny middlemen. During Jonathan’s time, people like Oritsejafor were flying private jets stuffed with foreign currencies around to buy arms. Now, people from Niger republic are the fronts. It’s just an endless pit of corruption.
Sadly for the country, arms procurement is classified as national security and excluded from following due process as provided in the procurement act. Except we change the law, nothing much can be done. please leave Jonathan out of this mess, the money ferried by ayo was for the south African mercenries,,,,,,,,,,a paltry 9 million dollars, in this case we are talking of nearly 500 million dollars |

BKayy: With which gas? SE (Imo and Anambra) Gas? What do these Nigerians think made IPOB to start the call for Biafra? What do they think made IPOB to keep on saying loud and clear that in Biafra everybody will control their resources? They want to turn Igboland to the new Niger Delta. They think we are as foolish as the Ignorant Minorities that doesn't know what's up.
Ndi ara the over 4 billion cubic gas reserves in Anambra and Imo is what we will use to build our new Biafra, generate electricities, power our companies and secure the future of our next generation. You people think we don't know. You think we don't have Igbo geologists among your ranks. Better back off on time. aside from the oil majors Igbo coys and a couple of Yoruba ones dominate the gas and allied services sector......................seplat,weltek,nestoil and oilserv etc .are led by anambrarians, we no wetin dey, nobody will fritter away our resources as they did in core niger delta.............those ones exchanged their birthright for pipeline maiguard contracts. |

If you do not know God's laws better go read the decalog or Ten commandments and show me any of the laws that Nigeria has not broken. O so you all believe that God has forgotten the millions of children and women that Nigeria gratuitously starved during the Biafran war, God has prepared one almighty whip for Nigeria. |

This is what Nigeria needs at the moment. If you give these protesters an inch, they will take 10 yards. The security agents are on social media too and can see your posts. I have seen posts by intending protesters where guns and bullets were displayed with threats of violence.
People nowadays see protests as avenue to loot both public and PRIVATE properties. Every tool known to be good gets a different use (evil) when it gets to this part of the world.
Until Nigerians change, Nigeria will forever remain the same....or even get worse by the day Something is fundamentally wrong with the way the black African reasons, these same journalists will feign ignorance of what IPOB is fighting for, in fact, they will spin the noble fight of IPOB into a terror and secessionist bid. meanwhile, they know that all IPOB is doing is fighting to change the narrative that the ethnic nations cannot sit down, discuss and agree on a constitution that will bind all together, without The British, the military or the Fulani dictating to us all. This struggle is about the division of labour, let journalists do their part honestly, let human rights activists do theirs ......let progressive politicians put pressure on their fulani colleagues and please please allow IPOB and ESN to enter the trenches and gutter with the fulani terrorists both in uniform and otherwise, it's obvious that no other group is brave enuff to call the bluff of these Fulani monsters !! .......igboho has also proven to be a serious street fighter as well. |

Mathoj: Thank you my partner in suggesting for a better future Anambra State. It is too late but I wish Ekwueme Square, the ICC and even the stadium are located in this Brand New Awka Capital City which would be unencumbered by traditional homesteads. i do not think its too late , there is a lot of land between awka and the airport in umueri to realize a new capital city but I do not feel that is even necessary in the first place. With good town planners we still achieve our dream of a befitting capital city within awka. |
Politics › Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by afube: 8:55pm On Jun 09, 2021 |
Mathoj: The truth of the matter is that Anambra state has no capital city yet. I wish a massive virgin area would have been developed gradually to be the modern capital city of reference. I am aware of the Three arms Zone but no attention is given to it and I do not think it is massive enough. The International Conference Centre, Stadium, the three arms of government, Town/Shopping Centre with Massive paved motor free open space (There should be Park and Ride outside the town centre) Cinemas, Clubs, Ecumenical Centre, Museum, Igbo or Anambra Hall of Fame, 4 to 5 Star Hotels and Corporate or Zonal Headquarters of companies etc should be in this fresh mini city. When this is done, then there will be MUST VISIT special place in the state. As of now, if I visit Nigeria, there is virtually no ONE STOP SPECIAL PLACES OF INTEREST in Anambra state in mind to go to. I hope I will not be insulted for this suggestion. your point is valid but Obiano has laid a foundation for Awka to start the process of blossoming into a classy city. Obiano is a US resident he should try to partner a progressive American city in a twin city arrangement ( Sugarland in Texas or even Fishers in Indiana) so that our civil servants can learn the art and science of proper town planning especially municipal planning law enforcement and control. In terms of IGR generation, the next governor can learn from Lagos and Kigali in Rwanda. |
